Need to learn the difference between a bolt and nut , and a lot of rims these days are tapped right into rim and the front just shows a Nut and there is no NUT. Like on the Jeep 392 but on those just remember there is a beauty ring when you buy them you have to buy the Bead lock ring and have the tire pulled out of the rim and than put bead lock on with 24 bolts.

Good video. My wife and I just bought our first Jeep JLU with a manual. That stall exercise confirmed my suspicion of how I should drive the car on the trails. I appreciate the tip about etiquette. Now that I think of it, it's how I drive my car in traffic jams. I just put in a gear and let it idle. Barely touch the brakes.

Question: Did you feel something with your Jeep and determine you needed to replace your ball joints so you decided to put in the eliminator? Or.. is it an upgrade you've been wanting to do?

Great tip! I am CONSTANTLY having this issue with the Jeep & SxS (and find when I get nervous I tend to go faster) so this is great advice I can't wait to try!

I have a Midland GMRS mounted radio but it has so much squelch/static. I have tried everything (moving the wires, moving antenna mount location) to clear that up. It is still there, but I never use it and bought the Midland handheld GMRS radios to use. I have hopes the mounted one will work some day. Maybe I got a dud from the factory. It was over the warranty before I contacted them, so...we also have their FRS radios too. I always bring my extras to an event for folks that don't have them...yet!

Saddle this is just a basic driving skill that would have usually been taught when the interest arises in a young person's learning to drive for me it was about 13. So sad this is like an extraordinary skill now.

Great info! One of the best things I ever did was have an Atlas 4-speed transfer case installed in my 2000 Jeep TJ. It made a world of difference!

Great idea. I use an old Webster to clean underneath my Jeep. The long handle reaches the track bar, axles, etc.

Hi Kristen! I have a question… I’m wanting to upgrade my tire size from 37” to 38” Nitto M/T which is a true 37 1/2 “ tire. Would I need to upgrade my gears? I have a 2018 Rubicon JLU. I’m still on the stock gear ratio which to my understanding I need 4.88 would that still work for the new tire I’m looking at?

I bought the JKS Quick Disconnects for my 2015 JKU Sport. They work great. I take the entire thing off and use their lanyard to hold the sway bar up. You do have to be on level ground to put them back on (and take them off). I take them off at home and put them back on at home.

Wow... a button for an electric sway bar disconnect... i peeped this when i replaced the oil cooler in a few 3.6 equipped wranglers. we used to cut the links in half on XJs when we lifted them, then used metal tubing, drilled holes, and used clevis pins when there was no button.

I have that brand on my truck… I went with beadlook bcz I am not airing my tires down, don’t need the monthly maintenance with headlock but I still wanted some protection for the rim. It works!!!

That's a lot of conversation and blah blah otherwise good video but damn, we learn more if we stay on point and don't get too chatty!!!
