For me... building the Int is about having/building something truly unique in a world where everything is the same. I used to think I spent too much buikding my 400hp 1977 Honda Civic... but everytime I take it out the world reminds me that I didn't... there's not another one like it. I'm here for INT/GT650 content really ( I own a GT650), but your personality and travels might keep me here a while once you crack on with the new bike. Cheers brother and ride safe. 🏍💨
Thank you for your comment man, it did get me thinking... I think in this case, it's just not the right tool for the job. Love the bike with all of my being, but it would be torture for it taking it off road regularly. I really hope you stick around, good to have you here!
Agree about the tyres.. I fitted them to my Interceptor and it ruined the ride. I took them back off in a couple of weeks. Look great but for road riding with any distance involved I’d stay with the originals
It most definitely reduces the fun you can have on the tarmac. Im always trying to think functionally with any mods, but with these it's hard to have the best of both, a little intense for the road!
Hey man, thank you so much for this lovely comment and the info on the bear. It looks great, although Ive already made the switch! Will be posting about it sometime soon...
I agree with your rationale, short of drastically modifying the Interceptor, it’s not going to do what you want, and it’s not worth the expense and effort. Hopefully a new bike reveal video will be coming soon. There are some potentially interesting new bikes coming for 2025, looking forward to EICMA and the NEC show in November to see more, and I plan on going to the NEC show to see them in the flesh!
Thank you for this reassuring comment mate... I have questioned if I'd made the right choice... but frankly, I don't think the Inty would ever be the bike Id need it to be. It's a shame because Im a sucker for the look, the sound and the ride. It's beautiful, but it's not functional for my needs! Which is the NEC bike show? Ill try and pop along!
@ it’s the big Motorcycle Live show, runs from 16th to 24th November, at the NEC in Birmingham. EICMA, which is the European equivalent, is the week before, but for us in the UK it’s the first chance to see most of the new bikes for next year. From an adventure bike perspective, I’m hoping there will be an update to the Himalayan 450, with a revised side stand that stops it leaning over so much and also a slightly higher mudguard to allow for more knobbly tyres and prevents mud building up underneath and preventing the wheel from turning - this happened on the US press launch in Utah. Also keen to see the CF Moto 450MT and the new KTM 390 range. I also like the Aprilia 660 Tuareg, and rumours are that they’re developing a Tuareg with the 457 engine in. Would also be nice if Triumph put that 400 engine into a Tiger style chassis, but I haven’t heard anything on that. I suppose you’ve seen the new Royal Enfield Bear?? A scrambler version of the Interceptor!!
SO MUCH GOING ON! I'll try and be along to that for sure. Although I do now have one of those bikes right next to me so can give you a bit of first hand feedback very soon.
Can I level and be honest, Ive not even looked... I think it would be a jump on the ferry and ride vibe! What I will be looking into is the TET and off the tarmac sections on the route. What are you riding dude?
Yeah, I’m not really sure where or how at this point. Maybe a ferry to Santander or possibly go down the French coast which I did a bit of this year. I’ve a KTM duke for fun and got a benelli to try touring and I am sold. Possibly looking at a BMW for a little more experience in the future.
Congrats on 1k man
Thank you bro - a special little something incoming to celebrate that!
My bias really hopes we don’t see the end of the Inty. So much character.
That headlight cowl was a personal attack! 🤣🤣
I love it!
The headlight cowl is a lovely touch... it just does nothing for me as I never see it haha.

Nice honest review of bike and accessories 👍
Thanks amigo, there's not many... but all were added for functionality over style

You bought yourself a Tuareg 660? Well done! 😁
News incoming... as soon as I have time. The bank is so broke now I don't know if I'll ever have time at this rate!

Sounds like a solid plan. I will most definitely keep updates posted here, let's see what comes as the new year rolls around.
8:20 did he say a Himalayan 450? :D
News to follow! Im hoping the choice I landed on was the right one...
