Fisk keep a eye out for stashes you can find it on the map they are extremely important for your progress!You can also get them from others PDA. P.s. To get through electro anomaly throw a bolt in it you will have a window of opportunity that can be counted in seconds after it discharged and needs these few seconds to charge up again.
I played Shadow of Chernobyl about 15 years ago. There are still parts in that game I remember today. Some of the most wild horror experiences :) I hope GAMMA has some of that....I would think so because it is a combination of all 3 base games. Keep at it Fisk! You have yet to explore deep into the dark, in places you should definitely not be :)
So giving you a basic run through factions : clear sky and most of loners usually stay souther of the zone (locations like swamps , cordon , garbage etc , duty and freedom are another passive factions which you can join , you’ll encounter them in northern parts of zone , since their more experienced bunch , beware of monolith and mercenaries they are number 1 threat for a loner
If you get things to clean your guns, you can right-click on your weapon to get a menu, select maintain, and then a pop-up on the screen to fix what needs to be done, for each firearm, also ask a mechanic to repair your gun or when he's friendly with you, you can ask to use his vice to properly repair your firearm. If you right-click on weapons you don't want and dismantle them, the better parts can be used to improve your own gun for example your shotgun. eventually, you will have one at 100% Hope this helps Stalker and Good Hunting.
There’s something really lonely and bleak about the atmosphere of this game that definitely increases the realism factor for me - maybe the color design or something I’m not sure. The shot of the sunrise around 6:40 was super pretty. Great video as always!
I loved the bits of the video when you were narrating like it was your journal at the beginning of the video and near the end when you needed to get patched up, and to top it off you added a song that really compliments it. Keep it up, your doing great!

I recommand you to read Roadside Picnic if you want to learn more about the Zone. For me, reading the book made the game even better. Roadside Picnic is a philosophical science fiction novel by Soviet-Russian authors Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, written in 1971.

Like everyone else, I'm just enjoying watching you naturally play through the game at your own pace! If I have one major piece of advice, I recommend you consult your PDA for game mechanics and lore information. It should answer most of your questions, including about the RF receiver! You were actually SO close to the package when you stopped using it! But one thing the PDA doesn't tell you? When in doubt, hold down the "F" key (or "Use"). It will highlight nearby materials that you can pick up, whether they be lost packages, ammunition, or consumables. Also, NICE JOB dodging those damn cats! I'd rather face all the horrors of the Zone solo at night during a blowout rather than deal with those bloody fiends!
@@Fisk If you mean "does it highlight the stash location the closer you get to it", no it does not, unfortunately. Stashes are completely hidden until you spot them with your ol' peepers, and open the inventory!

The rf device detects radio signals but you have to tune it to the right frequency range, you do this by equipping it and, when you use it with caps lock with nothing else in your hand, you just click the mouse buttons to tune it to the right channels. After you find the right frequency and are in range, it works like any other detector does.

Fisk you can unload the weapons for ammo with right click in your backpack, also when you enter an area if you hold F key it will highlight all the loot you can take. RF thing is a proximity sensor. Hold it in your hand and the closer you get quicker it beeps. Bit like your shitty detector😅😂
I recently started this as well as a completely new player. Your swamp visit seemed a lot calmer and under control compared to mine. I picked the SKS as my starting weapon (great vs humans) and it cost so many points I had to take the very light armor instead of the heavier one. In the swamps with little armor and an sks when you are surrounded by tall grass was not a pleasant journey. Invisible dudes, dogs, cats, a zombie variant Fisk has not seen yet. Some sort of psychic beast. Never saw it, I just ran. My dude started whimpering.. as did I. ;D Its such an awesome game though. Have not been this excited to play a game for many years. Stay safe, Stalker.
This game have no reason beeing this good. And its f ing Free! THo I would suggest you show your support to the devs and they give us Stalker 2 sooner rather then later hopefully. And if that thing is made right with good Mod support OMYHOLY we will have one of the best games this decade.
Well since you asked about the RF device here goes, put it on the slot that is meant to be then equip it by pressing "O" not zero lol. Now to adjust to the frequency you want press left and right mouse button and that's it. Oh by the way dude 3 beeps means it's close to you lol. You get the idea about the beeps hahahaha There's lots of things you should have done when your limbs were in bad shape but won't spoil it and also try finding out about the kinds of ammos you should use for mutants etc.
use caution stalker,.... that was a Bloodsucker that you mentioned in the intro... usually only found at night or underground, where they use their invisibility to ambush unwary stalkers..... and eat their faces.
as for dragging fellow stalkers around... some will refuse to go underground or some of the more dangerous areas but will happily wander the zone with you. Their deaths or mission failure will only cost you a few points of rep with their faction (PDA-relations tab click display values. Green rep(2k?) = vendor sells best loot etc) you can have 2-3 companions.. or more with exploits. There is a companion command system, check your keybinds. Companions can carry loot for you, but will keep everything in their inventory if you "turn in their mission".
Nice keep em coming bro. Just a quick tip for companions, if you press number 3 on the num pad you can move them to a point, just remember to make them follow you afterwards 😉

For your animations to work did you have to update or enable anything? My animation for back pack and skinning things doesnt work, but drinking and eating do. Anyways another awesome video!

you know you can expoit , companion sistem abit i had 11 guys with me at one point, 2 guys was just following me normaly then there was like 3 dudes i saved from bandits, 3 guys who asked me to guide then to rostok in 18h and 2 guys from tourist safari oh yea right and if you dont complete fanatic tutorial missions he folows you all the time, usally they help a lot only you have to manage them all the time or sometimes they die, good for transporting lots of stuff so if you decided to change base location its good to have some companions, didnt travel to deep in to north so i dont know but heard people say its sucks to have companions in harder zones( seen that in north side of yantar looks like psy affects them a lot)
I kind of enjoyed when you had the robotic voice or whatever it was to read the dialogue like you did in the first video. One reason is I'm dyslexic and it's hard for me to read better for me to listen.
Whoa, how did you get that knife skinning animation? I turned of item animations because one, the animations for using items out your pack still plays even with it off, but two, every time I skinned something they just kneeled and some sound effects played without the knife thing happening... Weird that yours is different? Pretty positive I have the most recent version, though I'm not sure the exact update version.
@@Fisk you can fix any gun with a working barrel without their repair kit, get the gun repair the condition first to 100% with the gun cleaning kits for rifles, handguns, gauge 12 and heavy, after the condition is 100% just drag and drop the other parts in the gun and GG you have a new gun 100% condition with working parts, now you just need to right click the gun and maintain parts and click to clean the parts that appear if this option does not appear you need to buy more cleaning kits
i know this game is surrounded by a ton of positivity but i just cant decide if i like the setting or not...am i the only one? the premise is great. but the world seems kind of barren. is it just me?
The world is the one of the most living worlds I've seen in a game. Everything is random and nothing is scripted, you hear gunshots it's someone fighting someone or something and more or less anyone can die even people you have side quests with. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

You can use your field cooking kit thing next to camp fires to cook food without fuel, you also slowly regen next to camp fires.

@@Fisk unfortunately it's just slow normal non limb heath I believe. You can only Regen limbs by sleep or pain killers after medpacks.

Stalker came out before metro and some of the devs from the stalker games worked on metro. It’s neat to see and feel the similarities between them.

the RF receiver has 3 green lights, the left-most one will flash and a beep will be heard. The faster the beeps, the closer you are.

You’re using the RF receiver correctly, you just need to be quite close to the stash for it to start beeping.
I personally have more trouble with those stupid Anomalous Measurement devices half the time they are dead as a doornail lol

Just installed the game and went in to the mod opptions to activate them. I think they turned them off as defult it had people crashing.

its better to get guns that have a working/green barrel and any other that has other parts green just field strip the parts and leave the gun
