Grounded Gameplay of the new Grounded Update by Mediocre Milton but not with Sir Sim-Alot or JADECRAFT, there's also no Blitz Grounded or Jade PG, oh and no ImCade or Fynnpire either, Obsidian Entertainment made the Grounded New Update!
I wish they added this because the sandcastle looked so good for a boss

I saw someone suggest that to avoid the blood issue, they could make ot shed its tail and run away when you beat it. It makes sense because its a lizard, you probably wouldn't be able to kill it, it still would give you something to loot, and it makes sense as to why you could fight it multiple time. The only issue is the type of lizard, not all lozards shed their tails.
It looks like a Horned Toad to me, which I'm not sure if they shed their tail or not, that'd have to be a Gecko.
Horny toads squirt blood from their eyes like a squirt gun as a defense mechanism.

@@JP94 i mean look at all theyve added so far for free. Sky is the limmit. Could add dozens of more species of beetles and spiders, hornets, grasshoppers, lizards, snakes, frogs, camel spiders, scorpions, other birds besides crow. I cant wait

@@JP94 no they aren't gonna add any more bugs besides maybe a handful once 1.0 dropped they ate focusing on bug fixes and probably won't add anything new for a while
a frog boss might be fun because they have so many tadpoles in game, but no mention of a frog xD maybe he comes by to attack your base or something

I would like to see scorpions instead of a lizard because the whole aspect of this game is insects so a lizard doesn’t really fit in
We need this. I dont care about the loot. I need something big to kill. I need a real fight. Ladybug armor healing me with every block has made me thirst for blood

Currently theres nothing in the game strong enough to hurt a lizard, we cant even hurt the koi fish or the crow. The crow is soft

I'm pretty sure they didn't add it because it wasn't a bug and I'm mostly sure there aren't any non bug enemies
spiders aren't bugs. bugs are small insects, and spiders aren't insects.
also, there are robots. and the Mants.
I believe the reason it got cut was because of what would happen to the rating of the game if you could kill a lizard. Grounded is a game made for a younger demographic, and a lizard can't just explode into green goo like bugs do once it's harvested. It'd be too bloody for the game.
@@AROD1131 that makes a lot of sense actually. also, instead of "spider chunk" or "bug shell", it's be "lizard bones" or "flesh" or "blood" and such. lot more visceral.
The Koi Fish
adding another response, tadpoles. so yeah, quite a few non-bug enemies in the game. multiple kinds of spiders and robots, Mant, tadpoles, and if you count them (I don't) koi fish and crow.
It was probably messing with the antlions since they tend to act weird, plus the water and the lizard itself might have been too buggy
What in the dark souls, praise the sun we dont have to fight that thing at all.
Grounded is amazing, but I think it deserves a massive DLC. Maybe opening up another back yard or being able to go in the house.
There is no more grounded dlc. Fully yoked was the last dlc for grounded.

They should make a non-killable frog, because of the tadpoles, and the frog can drop like a goo of some sort, to make like, idk, glue?
We need it and some “dragon” armor from it
That will be more for the dragonfly since it actually has scales like a dragon and can fly

I mean, in scale, he's pretty small. a lizard should be double that size at a minimum. From what I can gather on how it looks it should be more like 3 times that size and would be more of an avoid at all costs like the koi
Honestly for the sand pit i think there should be a scorpion but that is just what i want.
I think I'd be up for it only if they could make a good set of armor/weapons from it. Spiders and larvae already give you venomous daggers/weapons so I'd guess you could make a whip from their tail that poisons upon contact while the armor would be called the "scorpion hide set" or something where it allows venom immunity

I think it would probably be because a lot of people have pet lizards and things like that so It would almost feel like your killing your pet and it would probably look quite gory pulling apart a giant animal

There's alot of bosses that could be so well utilized like a scorpion or a centipede aswell the way they added basketball in it would have been cool to see where this all could have gone with new games maybe a racetrack car hotwheels type track like if it was getting content and updates even small... it's rare a building game stops getting content ...(Minecraft Fortnite ,😂😂🙃😂7 days to die ,Green Hell Stranded Deep Palworld all these building games get content idk why but this game should still be getting some to..

Two options
Befriend: give it a treat and have it be friendly and maybe give a good mutation.
Attack: engage in a boss battle, but in the end it scurries off, but loses some scales, used to make armor
It would of made a w boss, I wonder what armour would look like and what weapon it would have, I feel like a sword or dagger but the reason it doesn’t feel like it would fit it cos all the other bosses are natural so they would respawn, the lizard is a pet that escaped from the Tully’s so it wouldn’t respawn unlike the spiders who have children, orchid mantis and Wasp queen
I feel like they could still add a. Boss under the sand castle by DLC or An Update. And I think a scorpion would be cool

Yeah it would, considering the fact that we are the same size as ants, and moles are the size of small dogs or large cats, we would only be able to hit the damn things toes

I heard they don’t have more space to put more creatures. But will be fun some kind of lizard, mouse, snake, worm, butterfly. I know some creatures they are too big
Why do I keep getting this dude, he seems like one of the streamers out there and honestly, he complains a lot, reasonable complaints about the game I'm sure, but I'm new to the game. I'm still learning shit on my 160 day game save. I don't even know how many hours I got but I'm having fun, and hearing some of his takes reminds me of other games, and its almost discouraging.
I guarantee that the reason the lizard boss got cut is because they needed to fix a lot of bugs, pun intended, and such with the attacks, health, phases, damage, and what it will do for the phases as in will it be like the Broodmother and Wasp Queen and summon creatures or will it be more like the Mantis and cause like sand to fall. So my best guess is that the lizard boss will be added just not anytime soon until everything works correctly.
just looking at how boss combat design works in Grounded, I can agree that the phases would be murky waters for sure. Would come with load of bugs and would need even more playtesting going into it to make sure each phases is playing/balancing appropriately. Not to mention, that’s a lot of health, and managing the Lizards custom animations, nav links and even attack damage would take a load of testing. Might as well make him the boss akin to the Director atp. Another thing, would lizard have other combatants like ant lions to make the fight harder? if so, how many, what does that gameplay look like? etc etc.
Hope it gets added along w/ other stuff. I work for the Big O, so anytime I hear about updates in-house, makes me happy 😊
They didnt add it beacuse it was Animal abusing. They could make you colect the scales around the lizard Cave. The lizard would be friendly.
So that’s what was supposed to be in that tunnel! I’ve been thinking why was it even there… but I gotta be honest it doesn’t make sense for you to fight a lizard. It’s the same as fighting koi fish, the weight class is way too different. But they could have just replace lizard with something else
They need to add so much to grounded so many little critters we could have rn and so many different bugs. Think about a centipede for example🤯🤯🤯

It would’ve been cool if we got like lizards and frogs or other small reptile/mammalian creatures to fight honestly but I doubt we’ll see any
I’m pretty the lizard was cut because in real life that type of lizard uses blood as a self defense and it doesn’t fit the rating. Shame to see it go to waste but maybe they could tweak it.

Its like the creature was no longer a bug and now is an animal. This eouls have made the ratinf go up especialy since it would have been blood an not goo that comes out of it

The reason they cut it was so dumb they cut it because lizards have red blood which would’ve raised their age rating

I would like to see some "Epic level" post game bosses. Maybe like how The Forest has the alternate ending where you stay on the penninsula and new enemies spawn. Though I think the issue is that using the Lady bug and other insects as a reference that bearded dragon is hella small. Instead I'd like to see a field mouse, garden snake, toad and hummingbird.
In grounded you can't defeat a lizard beacouse is too big and too fast to kill it 😅😅
