@@Toarcade Guess it was a matter of time before someone eventually no miss to the end. Didn't think that final boss was doable without using a bomb. This is arguably the intense high speed final stage run of any shump title. Dodonpachi and Ketsui 2nd loop are clearly more skillful to the naked eye but just something about that Slave ship moving around that amount of bullets-hell at warp speed....... your eyes just can't catch up.
My highest score is around 130mil ALL3. It is very possible for me to get around 150mil but at Ph.2 I start getting nervous and let a few medals drop, so my counter resets to 10,000 for the X-medals.
How do you get the endings on these 3 games? I even selected "invincible" in the cheat menu of MAME so I wouldn't lose a single life and shoot everything in sight but even after that all 3 games just roll over back to mission 1 without an ending.
It sounds like you are playing the USA version/ROM. The US version has a 2nd loop and will just revert to stage 2-1, not sure if the ending comes after loop 2 though.
Yeah US/EU version has 2loops with ending. 2nd loop is impossible with the slow as a snail bullet hell with ultra fast bullet. Not seen anyone 2CC the US/EU version.

Insert coin, and then press the Start button AND these buttons simultaneously: P1 Fire, P1 Bomb, P2 Fire, and P2 Bomb. This means you should press FIVE buttons simultaneously. If you then select any of the fighters, you will play as that fighter's slave.

Almost same. My highest was around 139 mil and i can only defeat that Phase 2 boss. I cant defeat XTB-1 (that final boss)
