they should actually patch a "practice mode" into the game. You can choose the pokemon you want to face by your own and you have infinite Pokeballs. That´d be great tho
Dang.. you were able to catch all those pokemon from just sitting on your balcony?? Im over here taking a bus to a train station to an airport and have to fly halfway across the world just to see a pidgey.
jaiizwaii89 there will never be an App like that. if players catch more pokemon, the creators receive less money from the shop because people buy less pokeballs. sadly
I thought this was going to be silly and obvious tip, but I have been playing pokemon go since the beginning and I was still throwing curveballs from the centre... So much easier to throw it from the corner. Great tip man!
This hasn't been doing anything for me for about a week, but I haven't gotten out to play much. Today I was out with a bud for maybe 4 or 5 hours and challenged myself to keep at this for every pokemon, landing ELEVEN excellent curves by the end of the day. Absolutely brilliant advice my dude!
@@frankienavarro6880 You're right. This method should have been universally understandable for everyone no matter their skill and require no practice. My apologies
I want to thank you! I've been stuck on the last part of catching Mew forever, and I've never been able to even do a "nice!" curveball before today. I watched your video last night, and roughly 100 pokeballs later, I got my "excellent!" curveball! You rock!
This method totally worked for me! A sudowoodo appeared and this was the one time I was thankful it jumped out like 10 times or more. I got 3 excellent throws and 4 great throws in a row using your method. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you!!! I watched this video earlier today, and since then I've been much better with my curveballs, and finally managed to do an excellent one for the Mew quest! (I recently started playing again after stopping for almost 2 years so had done none of the special research) So thank you 😃 I was so bad at curveballs, it would have taken me months to get an excellent one if I hadn't found this method
Just for the record, I opened your video, paused it at 0:03, looked at the picture and literally threw an excellent ball, first throw... thank you so much.
Thank u sooo much for sharing this!! I’ve been catching so much more and getting great or excellent every time!! I knew about the curveball but I didn’t think to bring the ball to the corner!
Flaming Beast you gotta practice he said. he actually did an excellent job in this video explaining yet teaching you without showing certain specifics. train basically
I have to thank you. I watched this video a few days ago. Something just clicked and my accuracy rate has gone up by a lot. My catch rate has therefore improved and I'm getting maybe one or two excellent curveball throws a day as opposed to per week previously.
Good video. I think it may have been more helpful to show your hands on the screen than just the screen capture though. Its hard to see the release etc from that. How does the release spot change based on the height / distance back of the pokemon?
Thank you. Had a legendary pokemon to catch. Used over 30 balls on it. We caught it first time with your curve ball technique. Got a very happy little boy
Years later and this still works. I started playing 2 days ago and the best i'd ever got was great. You just got me my first ever excellent. Thanks a million.
Man, you are the only one making sense on how to throw a curveball on the whoooole TH-cam. I mean, you went straight to the point, laod it out very simple and eeeeeaaaasyyy to understand. I did get my excellent after your video. I would definitely recommend you to everyone. Congratulations for an awesome and short tutorial.
I tried so so many times to get great throws and it almost never worked. After watching your video, I got a great throw on my first try! Super helpful! Thanks!
I have to learn how to throw curve balls to increase my catching lengendary monsters rate. I tried 5 different methods and yours is the most natural and relaxing way. Many thanks. I will do my best!
I learned this EXACT method purely by accident! I messed up & released a few throws "too early" & wound up getting Excellent... Anyways this method is funny to me because, technically speaking, the ball doesn't really curve at all! It looks more like a "spiral"... (How you throw a football, duh!) But hey you still get the bonus, so it does work! So screw it, im gonna use it!
I've been able to do the curve ball since a long time, I always have used it But I'm suffering a lot with the part of the circle. Before I did like 3 excellent throws one time with one pokemon, but now I haven't been able. I always have been getting "Great!" and "Nice!" ;-;
Ive just started last Thursday so I'm not very good at Pokemon go, I do play the DS games though. So I've been trying to look up tips and tricks on how to make this easier that way I can catch up to my friends that have been playing over a year. This was by far the best video on throwing curve balls and getting excellent. Thanks for the help
your the real mvp dude and you sound so honorable almost like an actual gun smith/ pokemon character trainer with experienced tips that are encouraging and very helpful. nailed it
Hey bud! Nicely explained and helpful! I'm right handed and start from the bottom right corner throwing to the left, but still am not consistent. Your video was so insightful! Thank you and keep the videos coming! Big fan!
How come my excellent throw circle size seems so large? When I get it real small and catch I dont get excellent but like 3/4 of the way to the smallest gives me excellent..
Love this video! I had previously never been able to catch anything with a curveball - they would always go wide. Now I'm consistently getting "Nice" and "Great" throws. I think some more practice and I'll start getting Excellent. Thanks so much for explaining the mechanics.
Ty! Been trying to curveball from the center and was horrible at it. I was also having trouble hitting the backfield as well. Your technique worked great and I am able to hit Pokémon in the backfield more. Ty!
I've been really struggling with this, but I got a curveball my first try after watching this. (I still gotta work on nice/great/excellent). Thank you very much!
not to the excellent curveball for the mew quest yet, but i have a regular "nice curveball" quest that will net me a gastly for the ghost-type step, lol. thank you so much for this!
Wow! Never thought I would complete my mew quest as I’m terrible at throwing curveballs, and an EXCELLENT to boot)! I watched this video and the very next Pokemon I caught, I got that excellent curveball!!! Awesome video!!!
Best video to learn the excellent curvball. I got it after lots of missed balls. But now I have really fun and lots of XP . Thank you soooooo much for this great video , Greetings from Germany
Wow thanks I'm trash at getting the timing right but I just replicated it immediately and caught two Pokémon with 1 Great Ball each so that's really cool
Who else is watching this for the Mew quest?
Matthew Labbe me, that quest is hell
Me! I think I will never get passed that quest!! 😂 But apparently it's doable... as this guy showed.. so better start practicing..
It totally worked. I suck at curve balls, and threw one after 10 tries.
Matthew Labbe yeah lmao
Lol yep
they should actually patch a "practice mode" into the game.
You can choose the pokemon you want to face by your own and you have infinite Pokeballs. That´d be great tho
Colith 666 they won't someone will cheat and bring it into real game by decodeing game
know from experience ( ;
They won't because the less balls we waste, the less likely we are to buy more.
@@Ebola-Jones you can't even buy anything other than normal pokeballs and you can easily get them from pokestops so nobody buys them anyway

haahhahaahahaha

I can access a pokestop without leaving my house
@@tacticalbanana01 lucky you I keep running out of pokeballs

There is a game you may not have heard of that let's you do that actually. It's free too. Pokémon Go, I think it was called.
JohnACorp782 Exactly.
