There is an app called Excellent Throw. I’m not sure if it supports android though
It still requires you knowing what size excellent is, and you still need to hit inside that circle. I'm usually pretty terrible at that :)
This is my problem... I have the circles locked but hitting inside the circle consistently is still a practicing art for me.

im sitting here trying to figure out how it was assumed im pretty sure it was stated that practice is required nd as for pokeballs how hard is it to find a reddit post where people exchange there trainer codes to send gifts back nd forth in ordsr to get pokeballs and what not i live in the middle of nowhere 14miles to the closest pokestop yet i dnt have an issue getting pokeballs dnt know why its so hard for people to use there heads

Good explanation on when to throw, but I was hoping for tips on where to aim and where to release your throw. I think your original video talked about that, right? Some Pokemon are a lot harder for me because the distance varies.

Joshua and Erica there are alot of players in mishigan, there are groups online that meet up and raid every day.. If you are by your own you won't notice, but there are tons of people around you

This totally helped me. Just some poor me sympathy, I do have issues with hand function, so in my defense and after playing for almost two years now, that has not always helped me make decent throws on any consistent basis. I guess a lot of legendary catches were luck or probably just increased attention since I deemed them to be more important. Anyway, after about ten practice shots on normal Pokemon (I sort of tried the longer method of setting the circle since I was practicing but mostly went for the corner throw, as you said that increases the distance) I got this down and have now added three lovely Absols (sp?) to my collection from the recent research quest. Thanks again for such great instructions - much appreciated!

I have found the extreme close up ones like articuno , if you bend the top of your phone 📱 down more at the top... more like horizontal to the ground than normal parallel it helps trick your vision into were you should throw as well.

After years of trying excellent throws….I have concluded that this video needs a qualifier that good dexterity is a pre-requisit to regularly making excellent throws. I will learn to live with Great Curveball throws.
One of the more important factors is a good cell phone that doesn't lag, if you don't have a good cell it's just luck.

The hard part is getting the angle right... ESPECIALLY when the circle is notoriously small (CURSE YOU LAKE ELF!)
Tyranitar was the first raid Pokemon I ever caught, it wasn't as hard but it wasn't easy, he's still my highest because I have so many candies and boost him because he's insane in Pokemon go.

I had watched your older video similar to pidgey technique you used here and found it helpful. I was able to hit excellent throws from corner. The other one (circle closing technique) I find tough maybe with practice I might be able to do it .

Love the update. Bulls-eye method doesn't really work for some legendaries like Lugia or Ho-Oh so it's awesome to see you include a second method for those instances. And is it "taunting" or "attacking"? I've always understood it to be the latter. I don't pay much attention to it now, but I know in the past it used to show a flash when it taunts/attacks. And during battles it would also flash whenever it attacks. I could be wrong... Keep up the great work, Famous!! :)

thats what my raid group and i do, the circle sizing, works wonders, as we speak im 8/8 on giratina ( altered ) 03/30/2019, im 17/18 on rayquaza and 28/28 dialga
legend raids are quite easy to land excellent throws,
the only thing hard about the raids is finding nearby players cause none of you friends play lol
Hey, for some reason my curves go too far even when I throw it at the exact time you're showing, is there a way to practice this because I can't even consistently hit a great ball, let alone excellent.
EC my worst enemy. Idk how I pull that off with a Magikarp for the special research.

@@animallover7047 i usually get it on every throw vs. Legendary Bosses. There are also a bunch of wild Pokemon with large target zones that are very easy to hit it with. Just a few minutes ago i got 8 in a row. Could have been more, but i caught the Mewtwo at that point.

Started watching 40 minutes ago then got a facetime call from a cousin who lives in Belize. Anyway, I did learn from this updated throwing technique video. I already knew the circle lock. I first learned of it from ProdigiesNation. But, the throw from the corner at Pidgey was new. I usually find throwing from the center is easier to get the Pidgey, but I would like to hit more Excellent throws so i will practice the style you discussed.
On the second channel, I would like to know how you obtain or draw some of the graphics. Maybe a demo of creating would be interesting.

This curveball technique seriously did help me a few minutes ago. I caught a Chimchar and a Bunneary with a curveball. Saves me time and Pokeballs. Lol

I don't think what you explained in this video is what players are struggling with, rather than the motion needed to actually have the ball hit the center.
Personally I always throw it mid-taunt and from the bottom left corner, and usually it lands in the middle horizontally, but it doesn't make it into the actual circle.
So what I'd personally really like to know is the arc to move the pokeball in, and when to release to hit that excellent throw
There are 3 different 2 are video say and another one is like I using anticlockwise spin so I release from right side so look Pokemon and your screen aim 3/4 from left to right and high is half of Pokemon screen then spin the ball in middle and drag and release at the point I tell above and yes you land exccellent throw

TheTerraverse if you have trouble with excellents practice on ponyta or wailmer easiest excellent you'll ever throw
