@@Poroner Running over 150 mods on Skyring legendary edition (off a torrent site) fairly smooth. Few CTDs, but narrowing down what mods do that. Vortex made it so easy. Has an auto loot and you can use a save cleaner when installing and uninstalling mods

Im running 190 esp's and about 600 mods.
Almost 100gb of skyrim files lol.
SE runs really damn stable, had one freeze that i still do not know the cause off, probably todd taking revenge for not using the cc.

There's this really cool mod that adds Roman legion armor and weapons called "Armory of the legion" though does somewhat breaks the lore, is really cool and under endorsed. It's a hidden gem.

“We really think that if your going to install such a huge location mod, than there’s no point in installing any others”. The thing is that if you want to do a non Dragonborn playthrough, than business locations like Windstad Mine are a necessity.

I remember downloading the Whiterun Refugee Camp they did a while ago, and I loved it. It just made so much sense in-universe, and it really added some character to an otherwise desolate area.
I'm really glad to see from it's page that it's apparently compatible with so many of the City mods I use, like JK's and ETC. Hopefully it won't conflict with a couple of others, like the Solitude Docks District, or the Skyrim Radioactive expansions of the docks at Solitude and Windhelm. At least, not so catastrophically that a little tweaking won't fix.
Thanks for the video guys. I'm glad to see they went all out on what originally seemed like a modest, but welcome addition to the landscape.

Aye, now this looks like a dream-come-true mod for me, since I don't like installing 20-30 or so different location-mods, and this mod's immersion-details like the expanded cities and the different industries being made visibly present are simply sublime additions.
I want to marry this mod.

I'll put this on my list for things to install later. If I ever get back into Skyrim I think I'll gut my current city overhauls and give this one a go. That and maybe even a different overhaul (such as Requiem instead of SkyRe) and I think I'll be good to go next time I play.

This mod saved my game.
Let me explain.
When I got into modding, I was looking for mods that could make the nine holds unique and alive. I’d found two, one was
“JK’s Skyrim.”
At first I thought it was the best mod out there. But I was dealing with a lot of lags and crashes, but the worst one was the “JK’s interiors.” There were some unfinished structures, missing doors, (the ones that I know was from the Companion’s living quarters. I had to download two more mods to fix their mod! It took me no more than three minutes to fix the issue, why couldn’t they done it themselves?) Missing walls as well and floating interiors. My reaction was “Are you fuckin kidding me JK??” I believe they know the issue too well because they decided to turn off the comment section. No wonder why the Mb was so low. I tried to give it a chance multiple times, I tried everything, but nothings changed.
The second mod I tried was.
“Divine Cities.”
When I downloaded this mod, it was quite immersive. New NPC, new locations, items, homes and so on. I thought this was my saving grace, but I was SOOO wrong! It crashed my whole fucking game! I had to delete everything, and start all over, it was worst than JK’s. I was on the urge of giving up. But then, I found this mod.
“The People of Skyrim”
I was very hesitant at first, I read the description very carefully. (as it told me.) and so I downloaded it, start my adventure once more, and my God. It was even more immersive, more smoother than both of the mods combined, it felt like it belong to the vanilla version. I have encountered some minor lags, but it does not compare of the mods I downloaded. I’m still exploring, and I refuse to mark the whole map this time. Right now, it’s a 7.5 out of 10!

Brodual, the only mod I can think that matches this in scale is the legendary cities mod. You should definitely cover it next.

(could have been someone in black robes), and the darth vader breather in the end. just some guesses of the 4 star wars easter eggs in the video

While I can really appreciate a mod of this scale, the problem for many Skyrim players (especially those who've been playing and modding their games for 4 years now) is that we already have countless city/npc/immersion mods that hopelessly conflict with a complete world overhaul such as this. Without customization options, the individual player will almost always have a better experience downloading smaller, more concentrated mods that suit their personalized wants and leave what they already like or like some other way untouched.

When you say "The addition of any new significant locations will always go against the lore" I am guessing you have not played Arena or Online? There are many settlements from those games which were omitted form Skyrim. Mods which add those settlements (except ones which were canonically destroyed post third-era) are perfectly lore friendly.

Flawed logic, Arena is an Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim is an Elder Scrolls game which takes place in a later timeline.
The information present in the games is the literal only source for cannon and what is lore friendly. so if there are settlements present in Arena, that are not present in skyrim you can only assume that those settlements have ceased to exist. Perhaps there was a rural to urban migration, maybe the location became over run with bandits and the villagers had to abandon their town.
So mods which add new towns not in skyrim are technically not lore friendly since the in the canon timeline those towns ceased to exist at some point between the events of arena and skyrim.

There are several other explanations which are significantly more plausible, but you do you.

Updated in July 2016, patch for game freezing when approaching/loading Solitude Docks last updated Aug 2016, not compatible with Live Another Life, as the patch has to be enabled after the battle at Helgen.

Hey brodual you recently did a top 10 combat mods list, do you think you could update some of your older top 10 lists (like weapons, armors, magics and homes), maybe you could also do other types of top 10 like top 10 lore based mods.
been playing with this installed and its really good apart from a few iffy lore choices. sad he took it down.
Can one choose to install specific parts of the mod or does it just install everything? What if I just want the new settlements, city outskirts, and Imperial/Thalmor outposts but not the Dwemer/Nord ruins and player homes?
Is this compatible with the Holds, city overhaul mod
This mod has deleted navmeshes that may cause crashes. It is not cleaned with Tes5edit despite what the description says.

I find it so immersion breaking when you have aspen trees in an area with the majority of trees being pine. May just be me, but I think it's weird

Idk why but i can never get this mod to fully work with me. All my mods are compatible, the load order was fine, and everything was normal. But every single time i went to the Whiterun Out skirts there were missing textures all over the place in the battleborn area. Weapon Racks were purple or black, a helmet a scarecrow had was black, some animals and enemies were missing textures, even the floor was missing stuff. I tried even loading the mod alone and still nothing. I use Mod Organizer so idk what's wrong with it.
Definitely going to try this with either Dawn of Skyrim or JK's series of city overhauls
