@@NoiseJester_ there's so much to do and so little reason to do another fresh start, especially if you don't roleplay and grab all the skills in the game. unless you've downloaded a mod that preforms better on a clean slate.

When it's not a pandemic and you have better things to do and keep hating yourself for playing skyrim but you keep playing skyrim to escape those thoughts
Holy hell. My Skyrim hiatus has paid off, these are some fine new mods to add to my load order. I especially liked the dialogue ones. Camera like that is exactly what I wanted for Skyrim after playing Fallout 4, and the new idles gives loads of more humanity to your character. The Realistic Conquring mod, and BUVARP are also two mods that I have always wanted in Skyrim. Might be high time to boot up Skyrim again.
I'd also recommend Random Emotions and Expressive Facial Animation (two separate mods). One of my favorite moments was when a character I was talking to was telling me about his crazy conspiracy theories, and when the camera switched to my character, she started smiling like she thought what he said was funny.
might I recommend hunter born? it gives you a real good reason to go hunting various wildlife, lots of new Alchemy ingredients, unique weapons, armor, and arrow crafting on the spot, unique enchanted amulets and rings, just make sure you download scrimshaw + afterwards. also Lucien, Inigo, Kaiden, Host, Auri and Vilja share some banter, mostly with Lucien, but Inigo's the ladies man. there's an interesting male spriggan follower mod who's name escapes me.
If I might make a suggestion, don't get BUVARP. It's a good mod, but it's not being actively worked on, due to real-life obligations. Get WARP instead. Does the same thing as BUVARP, but extends it to more characters and with more features for certain characters.
Damn, lawbringer and realistic conquering are definitely much needed. Skyrim tries to make you feel like a badass that can take on an army, but your impact on the world in practice is so limited, everything returns to normal in a matter of days with nameless npc's taking over again and again doing the exact same thing as the previous ones.
I've been using it for a while now with no issues, I do recommend it! The best thing is that it doesn't require fnis or use an esp so you can install or uninstall anytime.
a big youtuber for skyrim finally showcased the alternate conversations mod. Most underrated dialogue mod out there by far, literally changes the whole feel of the game in that regard.
Many years and games on... Still the best mod reviewer ever. Fantastically to the point while still covering everything. All scripted and without any time-wasting pauses. It's you guys and direwolf20. Yet to see anyone reviewing anything so well. You made this into an art, good job!
Probably not gonna use the first two mods, as some of my characters rather enjoy the constant stream of bandits for various reasons (such as my Orc devotee of Hircine who loves a good Hunt, or my vampire who needs to go on a binge-drinking spree once in a while). The others though, might look into them.
For Alternate Conversation Camera I turned off the "Force into Third Person" and disabled the ugly Letterbox. Now my game is dubbed "The Oblivion of a Witcher". Thanks Brodual!
One thing to note is that BUVARP is no longer getting active support, and has since migrated and updated under a new mod; WARP (World Assests Recycle Project). It does basically all that BUVARP already does but is further planning on adding new locations or environmental objects (like shacks or ruined houses) and shifting vanilla locations around; along with adding even more features for underused npcs (like making housecarls be seen around their respective holds before being assigned to the player upon becoming thane of that hold) LE: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/98930 SE: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28228 Due to the newly introduced objects, there is likelihood of compatibility issues with certain overhauls (for example, some village/hold overhauls from the' Great City' series and objects introduced in BUVARP/WARP conflict and overlay on each other. No patch is released yet, but will hopefully be on the way.
Great video as always "liked" but for people interested in the mods, the mod called Realistic takeover Requires Fort Takeovers Framework Fuz Ro D-oh - Silent Voice Not necessary, but recommended for the silent dialogue. Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch >_< a gripe I have with mods requiring several others to work ...
I literally added the Realistic Conquering, Whiterun Battle Brothers and BUVARP after this video and I was just done with modding my new Skyrim Special Edition and was about to start the game! Thanks as always! Edit: I forgot to mention I added Conditional Idles too! Hahaha.
Excellent vid. I like how clever, and quality the videos still are even when there are only a few new mods to cover nowadays. I like these Mod Wombo Combos
The last time Brodual upload for CGO I was preparing a load order for my next play through. Fast forward to now and I finished that play through and I’m preparing another load order for another play through already.
Two good follower mods are Auri the Wood Elf archer and Kaiden. Auri is one of the few good female follower mods and one of the even fewer elven follower mods. She also has a quest, though it's based more around building a friendship with her than the typical bandit killing or monster slaying venture your used to. She can also reveal several aspects about wood elf lore. Kaiden is pretty good too. I enjoy his company and I believe he has a quest though I don't know how to start it. I definitely think these are two mods that you should try and even review if your up to it.
A great combo with the unused npcs mod would be the Reputation mod. An unexpected feature of that mod is that it adds letters from npcs related to your actions. So, for example, the innkeeper who asks you to save the hunter near Falkreath later writes a thank you letter saying how grateful she is to have him back! Oh, and if you join the Companions while belonging to the Thieves, you get a letter congratulating you on infiltrating them from Brynjolf. etc. The reputation adjustment parts of the mod are very customizable so if you don't like the other features you can turn a lot of them off, but together with the mod near the end about nearly unused npcs, it would make the world seem much more responsive to your actions overall.
I'm always glad to see a post from Brodual. I think a hell of a lot of great mods, big and small, have come out that you guys missed.
