Not only did Craig promote a Scottish band's song, he and his team created the most enjoyable finale opening in TV history! What a montage! Thanks, Craig. You are missed.
James Cordon does just a g... hughhhh 🤮... just as good a jo... 🤮🤮🤮🤮 he’s...ok by comparison. Craig Ferguson is silly to the level of Conan and Letterman. Like when letterman called the lady in the building next door kind of ‘lets make it up’. It’s why my favourites during pandemic are Colbert, Ruffin, and Meyers. They roll with it like Ferguson. Man if we had him now it would be awesome
Graham Norton is pretty good. The only thing wrong with The Late Late Show is that it's American, and so broken up by adverts every 10 minutes or less. That would never happen on a British show. All the best talk shows are on BBC. I can't think of a single one on ITV, where they have adverts. And that weird obsession Americans have with censoring adult language on an adult show... Even pixelating a finger, in case some Deep Bible State moron gets offended... {:-:-:}
This video is a testament to the joy Craig brought to late night TV, but also to how beloved he was by his guests. I've settled in with Seth in recent years, but man do I miss Craig Ferguson.
This song has been a part of every important moment of my life for the past several years. Wedding, relocating, first date with my wife. Inspiration doesn’t cover it.
I miss him And I never watched him when he WAS on... But SO MUCH Better than what's still on now. I can watch these over and over again... great stuff with such positive energy! DjamesW.

The 10th anniversary of the original airing just came and went (it's Christmas Eve 2024 as I type this). In those ten years, no other late night host has come close to the joy Craig brought, much less the legacy he left behind. The man's not even dead, but we still eulogize his show because it was alive. It was so joyous, so full of energy and passion and honesty and hope, that it well and truly lived. There was nothing like it when it was on the air and nothing has approached it since. Which is why we cherish our memories of it so. Precious few things in this world are certain, but this is one of them: ten years from today, I'll be back here again. And if you were any kind of a Craig fan, you'll be back here, too.
Always get emotional when I see secretariat rush through the door lol. Makes me see all the good laughs craig brought. Best late show hands down. None of them even compare.
Never got to see a show on tv, I've been catching up on you tube. When I saw this on the last show it was completely inspiring.. The smirk he has at the end tells the whole story... Well done Sir! BRAW!
Back when Craig was on, we had our first kid. I remember being up at night, feeding the little one, while watching The Late Late Show with headphones on. What a weird moment in time. Thanks for the memories, Craig.
This is such a great song. Thank you guys for letting Craig borrow it for his farewell from the best late night show, ever. And for uploading his version, also.
Well ! Thank you, Craig, Thank you, Tom, and Thank you Dead Man Fall (and the cast of thousands! ;-) That was uplifting, invigorating, and I look forward to more from all of you, and feel inspired by all of you!
Just a great moment to watch at a time when millions of others were sharing this joy, this man, his gifts at the same time. Craig's best moment, all talent, all brilliance, CBS' great underestimation of the man. Miss you, Craig.
He is the best!!! Geoff Peterson was an amazing right hand man! Unless I missed it, where was Lauren Graham. The two were hilarious together! Thanks for nights of fun! Come back please Craig!
I've been thinking about the things that are stuck inside in my head and I can’t get them out. And I've been waking, at four in the morning; I don’t know why I can’t get back to sleep again tonight. Craig Ferguson giving the nod to a few small Indie bands on and a gospel chorus while subliminally making celebrities endorse something they never heard.. Too smart.
He wanted to leave much earlier. They gave him the new studio to encourage him to stay, and he stuck around a few more years. I'd love to have him back, but knowing he was tired of it and kept putting forth the effort anyway, wouldn't want to make him come back.

I miss Craig. There's nobody on late night who comes even close to his level.
+Dostwyn He has a new show on the History Channel
+TMan1236 Does it have a gay robot skeleton sidekick and two interns in a horse costume?
Agree 100%!

8 years has past.. and I still come here for inspiration... I'm still banging on my drums Craig.. and my day WILL COME
This video is a testament to the joy Craig brought to late night TV, but also to how beloved he was by his guests. I've settled in with Seth in recent years, but man do I miss Craig Ferguson.
Seth is a political ahill
Will always be THE best final opening ever. Still miss him.
This song has been a part of every important moment of my life for the past several years. Wedding, relocating, first date with my wife. Inspiration doesn’t cover it.
That sounds a bit weird
He came, he conquered the tutsi fruitsi out of it, and he left like a legend.
There will be no one like him. My late night douche, I love you man.
Tears. This show was a treasure.
Always makes me so happy (and a little sad).
I miss him And I never watched him when he WAS on... But SO MUCH Better than what's still on now. I can watch these over and over again... great stuff with such positive energy! DjamesW.

Yes we came here because of Craig Ferguson. ❤❤❤❤❤
So love love love everything about him.😊
All these years later and I *STILL* get misty-eyed.

7 years later and I still come back to this when I need a pick me up.
Craig gave one of my favorite late night finales, along with Conan and Letterman. Outstanding talents.
Always get emotional when I see secretariat rush through the door lol. Makes me see all the good laughs craig brought. Best late show hands down. None of them even compare.
Lmbo.... Same same! I nearly cried... gigglezz...
Craig... the world needs you
There will never be another like him. He made you want to watch late night.
2023, please come back Craig!
Such wonderful things I have seen in my life.
Now THAT'S what I call an opening. Epic ending to an epic show.
Never got to see a show on tv, I've been catching up on you tube. When I saw this on the last show it was completely inspiring.. The smirk he has at the end tells the whole story... Well done Sir! BRAW!
2021.....I still miss Craig.
Now it's 2024....I still miss Craig.
Still the man. Lost many hours of sleep watching him, Geoff and the fake horse
Back when Craig was on, we had our first kid. I remember being up at night, feeding the little one, while watching The Late Late Show with headphones on. What a weird moment in time. Thanks for the memories, Craig.
Epic perfect ending.I Miss Craigyferg!
Still one of the best songs I've heard in the last few decades, and it was this clip that turned me on to it.
It had the benefit of never having been tried.
And they killed it. one of the best sign offs ever.
I still miss this show more than ever. It held such a special place in my life....watching this tonight brought tears to my eyes.
I well up, with tears of joy, and thankfulness, every time I see this video.... Craig Forever! 💕💕💕💕
probably the best four and a half minutes I've spent on TH-cam .
and I keep coming back again and again, love this video, love Craig, and still miss him terribly
💯💯💯💕💕💕💕💕😢😢✌💜
This is such a great song. Thank you guys for letting Craig borrow it for his farewell from the best late night show, ever. And for uploading his version, also.

How the hell does this still only have 60k views after 8 years.
Oh God I miss this show and this wonderful, nutty man!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕
After all these years this still makes me smile, best send off ever. No one will compare to the brilliance of how he hosted this show.
This song makes me cry every time because of Craig.
I start tearing up as soon as the drums start. You know, to save time.
My favorite talk show finale episode.
Craig is the man - always play this when i am thinking about next steps in my life 💗
I love this in this version and the original and whatever else you lot have coming for us. Keep banging on your fu****g drum!
Amusing... There were 10 comments, the most recent 3 months ago, then Tom Scott linked, and there were at least 16 in the past 2 hours.
Loved seeing/hearing this "live" on the finale.. Keep up the good work!! Soon the world will be banging their drums.
Craig was and is the funniest late night show host EVER. bring him back. ❤❤❤
I clicked on a Pigeon in a Tom Scott movie and ended up here... I have no idea what I'm doing with my life but at least it's entertaining.
Never realized you guys put Craig's version on here...made me smile. Also reminded me hes how I found you guys...so I smiled bigger 😁
This is the best thing ever. I could watch this all day.
Still one of my favorite things EVER!
Same...💕💕💕💕🤗💔💔💔
I miss Craig terribly
Still miss you 6 years later Craig.
I'm here again because of Craig Ferguson & I miss him so much! I 💖 him to Pluto & back!
Thanks for the many nights of great entertainment Craig... you are truly one of a kind...
This will be played at my eulogy or I will haunt all my children and family.
Man this was and is everything!!!!!!!!!!
This is actually a great song, Thanks Tom!
I didn’t get to watch this show while it was on & I’m properly getting into it just now…and this was so beautiful 😭 made me emotional 💔
We are best friends now. 💕💕💕💕
This song is epic.
He is the best!!! Geoff Peterson was an amazing right hand man!
Unless I missed it, where was Lauren Graham. The two were hilarious together!
Thanks for nights of fun! Come back please Craig!
Good choice tom.
+sagiksp I wonder if Tom appeared in this video (hey, it's an *allstar*, right?) and I just missed him.
This is a PERFECT song.
Craig was, and always will be...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Not just the best on late night the funniest show ever.
I've been thinking about the things that are stuck inside in my head and I can’t get them out.
And I've been waking, at four in the morning; I don’t know why I can’t get back to sleep again tonight.
Keep Banging On

Keep Banging On
And your day will come
Keep Banging On

And everybody thinks I have wasted. Wasted every chance I ever had to be somebody.
Keep Banging On

Keep Banging On
And your day will come
Keep Banging On
Banging on your drum

I think I go with......'Awkward Pause' . I really do miss Craig on TV every night.

WUT Tom
Still the man. He finally got his band. Seeing Betty White, William shatter, the fonz and other a listers says it all.
Craig Ferguson giving the nod to a few small Indie bands on and a gospel chorus while subliminally making celebrities endorse something they never heard.. Too smart.
This is how you do a finale. After this show ended, I ended watching any network talk shows.
This was Craigs last show. Still miss him and the gang.
I only discovered this show recently from youtube clips but still this makes me sad
I feel you…same 💔
I really like the number of pigeons in this music video.
The best to ever do it on late night
LOVE HIM
Tom I'm scared
Legend.
This is incredible! Thanks Tom Scott!
Great presentation of a great musical piece. Good Luck Boy's
Thank You sir Craig for what You did to the drumming communityXD
I so miss Graig!!❤️ I’m an ex pat living the us !! And I mis my home!!! Glasgow 🏴🏴🏴
Mr Ferguson should make a comeback. Come on Craig.
Craig Ferguson can bang on my drum any time he wants to! He needs to come back to late night!
I gotta say, seems petty , but one of the most inspirational, songs (performances ) I’ve seen, heard
SQUIRREL!
Pidgeon
thank you craig
For an unsigned band, I'm impressed your song reached Ferguson's attention. How did the band and the Late Late Show even connect, in the first place?
'And youre fake horse will come'
The only sad thing, besides the gaping hole he left, was how badly he was treated by CBS. Man, they blew it & this blunder is one for the ages.
The networks always treat the good ones like crap. Craig and Conan both got screwed by their networks.
Miss shows like this… can’t do this kind of stuff these days
1:14 exactly my feeling Lisa...
I would say I'm excited that Corden is going away in 2023, but Craig isn't coming back.
We all need Craig back.
Just saw him live for his Fancy Rascal tour last Friday...and he's still got it. Funny as hell and definitely knows how to work a crowd 😀
He wanted to leave much earlier. They gave him the new studio to encourage him to stay, and he stuck around a few more years. I'd love to have him back, but knowing he was tired of it and kept putting forth the effort anyway, wouldn't want to make him come back.
Squirrel. Squirrel. Squirrel. Squirrel. Squirrrrrrel. Pigeon.
Wish you had made it to late night instead of Colbert!
