Recently in an interview with Larry King, Craig Ferguson said that the bit of Larry King playing Geoff is one of his all time favorite moments of the show and that sometimes he goes on TH-cam and watches it.

We'd already both agreed the regular Craig/Geoff thing could have been the entire show, but Larry was blissfully out of control.

Just did all 3+ hours of this in 2022. Larry King is getting all the love in the comments and I get that, but others were great too. Alfred Molina surprised me with his dry wit. Lauren Graham's airhead was fun, if a little one note, but Craig balanced it perfectly. Angela Kinsey was a burst of undeniable female energy and Thomas Lennon had me belly laughing. That was a great way to spend a Sunday evening while preparing for the week ahead. Loved it!
"Alexa, tell me what the weather's like." "This is what my life has come to! You didn't want this, did you? You didn't want a smart assistant who was actually smart! Who had opinions of his, I mean her own! You can't look out a damn window, you spend hundreds of dollars and throw away your privacy to feel a little higher status! ...It's overcast, seventy degrees, forty percent chance of rain later. I hope that was worth it."
Can we talk about how well Angela Kinsey voiced Geoff?? She was like an exact female version of him! The voices, the timing, the humor, it was just amazing! Lauren Graham also made me chuckle a bit, just cause of the low brow one liners, they somehow hit a funny bone. And Larry King was like his own show, hilarious!!!
I miss this show so freakin much!!! Craig and Geoff got me through many nights of insomnia. I'm so glad I found this. Ended up binge watching it this afternoon. Loved it!!!
Jayleno Fly… thank you so much for your compilations. I have decided to no longer waste my time watching current late night shows. Frankly, it's just background noise. Instead, I will watch an hr or 2 of your videos and re-live the fond memories of a time when comedy was real and honest. Again, thank you, sir!

I think the Larry King version of Geoff was the best, but it was pretty funny hearing Alfred Molina’s quiet, wheezing laughter throughout his entire stint.

@@coyoboyo Well, I can understand him being tired of doing it after 10 years, but he was frigg'n PERFECTLY suited for that show, which only became better once Geoff Peterson came along : ) I don't think I ever saw his really older episodes, but it is interesting the evolution of the show as time went on. I guess he did more sketches and bits early on, which I'm sure were funny, but it's interesting how he completely ditched those later on, at least from what I have downloaded so far from about 2010 onward. But, it was amazing how he carried that show all alone for so long. One of the earliest episodes is also one of THE damn funniest. It is the 'Roof Leak' episode (2/2009) If you haven't seen it, you need to find it here. Absolutely hilarious, and all by himself. I think it's the oldest episode I have. It was really wise and a great improvement from what I can tell when he decided basically to just go for total improvisation (which he does best!) with Geoff and Secretariat there as sidekicks. Perfect!
Saw Craig and Josh (the voice of Geoff) at the Hard Rock Theater just outside of Vancouver years ago. The wife and I still talk about it. Man I miss the best late night show on TV.
