      @@Tech-49 I know. Trust me. You don't want this name. Most get aggressive when they see my name. They think I am there to "troll". Instantly they put up their guard.
      But I got 13 subs because some people think that my name is cool. 😆
      Edit: 12 subs. One must've gotten a change of heart.

    Oemdirtbikeparts kit is rad for an fcr. Do it you won’t regret it. The guy is super nice to deal with. I bought an sm not running with this carb. Your comments are valid but there’s lots of guys running bigger bore 470 with similar setups. No issues. Dont abuse it and It’ll go forever if it breaks rebuild it again and it’ll go forever. Just rebuilt my carb after first season and it’s night and day. hard to beat these machines but I couldn’t imagine the stock carb.
    They race them all day long down in socal much hotter temps much harder conditions training new to expert on a supermoto track… don’t hold back on the thing it was designed to run flat out.

    I’ve got a 2008 like this. Is it worth putting on a MCCT in your opinion?

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a bit of a tricky one as the older bikes had issues with them but not after 05 i think. The mcct is the best option but you need to be able to adjust them and the risk of getting that wrong is large.

    Have you considered a CRF450 rear brake master cylinder, FCR39MX Carb, Hotcams or E cams, Brembo front brake caliper, Kickstarter, wavey discs, lithium battery, step up seat concepts seat, trailtech Speedo and finally a full stainless steel bolt replacement to alley heads?
    Just when you thought Derek was done, he has a long way to go! 😁

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I didn't know they fitted, yes, yes and yes, talked about in the video. Don't want a kick start or waved discs, nor a different seat or the trail tech, bolts some have been. Haha

      I’m adding the kickstarter for woods riding purposes . And possibly a lithium battery and def adding the fcr carb ! I hear it makes a huge improvements with the E model cams and full med exhaust and 3x3. Also adding the free power mod next .

    Quick question, as a tall person how do you find riding non supermotos? (I've only ever ridden my adrenaline and am also tall) everyone talks about certain bikes being good if you're short, but what about if you're tall? Question centred around 500cc+ bikes (not little 125s that can be extra short)

      @spicy110  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Here is my motorcycle review playlist. I cover ergonomics on all of them. I can not say for bikes I have not ridden so this is my best answer. th-cam.com/play/PL-ow7a_42PpTgpXMgNxwbtoS5_2h6AyO1.html

    Dirt bikes are so cool now. They have all the mods that I did myself to my Honda MT125 in 1974. (except for disc brakes and the silly covers on the handgrips. Wait..Side stand switch? Really? omfg )!

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha the hand guards to save you money in not snapping lever and also bushes grabbing your front brake on haha

    • @louisavondart9178
      @louisavondart9178 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@spicy110 ... I had unbreakable plastic levers and there weren't any bushes on a motocross track. ( levers didn't break as long as the mount was able to spin a bit on the bars when you hit the dirt ) But yeah, I'll give you the hand guards. The most trouble I ever had was guys turning off my kill switch for a laugh. I just don't understand road tyres on a dirt bike..is that a thing .

    Spicy what front brake pads would you recommend for the dizzer? I'm having a hard time finding good road pads

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly nothing special and no one brand. I have had a lot of issue with this brakes behind the pads tho, are you sure your issue is the pads? I can also say I use HH pads, GG pads lasted a few 100 miles.

    1 Liter per 1000miles? It isn't spec for sure, unless you go 80mph constantly for 1k miles. Source: I did 880miles in 19hours and burned 0.2-0.3L. But I change my oil every 1k miles.

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you checked the Suzuki specs before disagreeing with a stat given to me by a Suzuki tech? It's not saying it is going to use that much, spec is the tolerance level. If you are using more than that the rings need replacing most likely. As in the spec is 0-1000ml per 1000miles

    • @tryharder3214
      @tryharder3214 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@spicy110 I’m 4 years into owning Drz as well as plenty forums, Reddit and manual information.
      I change my oil every 1000-1200miles so that might be why I don’t burn any oil comparing to manual 3.500k miles. But I guess that’s why by bike is up and running well.
      If you got a link about 1L per 1000miles - I’d take a look.
      I even measured my oil levels during oil change with 1gal milk bottle;)

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      7-8yrs owning one and I have been though the oil burning life so I can say for a fact it can and will happen eventually. It was once I was burning like 1200ml per 1000miles that's when I put the 440 kit in. Same here I do oil changes and ever 1000-1300 miles. I think the damage was done by the last owner riding to Scotland on it, followed my me doing 2000 miles in 2 weeks haha. Not motorway stuff all 60mph twisties.
