Have to agree with you about the cats choosing their own people. After my mom passed, I was talking with my friend about wanting to get a cat one day. I was staying with her because I was at a low point in my life at that time, and a few weeks after that conversation, we moved to a new place and the very first day we moved in, a baby kitten, still covered in her peach-fuzzy fur, walked right in the door and came straight to me. We checked with the neighbors to see if they'd lost a kitten, but none of them had, so she was likely abandoned. I've been her human for six years now.

I had this one as a kid! She was passed down from my mother, along with Lil' Pocket and so soft Bouncy. I think you did an amazing job restoring her! (and the cape looks better than the boa imo)
Ok your cat story is both sweet and a little bitter sweet for me-I also had a cat named Boo (albeit he was a boy) who passed away in September of 2020 who was my best friend-he's sit by my desk as I did artwork, cuddle up to me in bed, acted as a little nurse kitty whenever I was sick, he was a sweetheart who looked just like Bruno if Bruno was chubbier. These days whenever I see black cats they always remind me of him, I can't wait till the day I'm able to adopt a new furry friend after college. For Bruno he seems quite happy with you, cats tend to know where they need to be, and it looks like he's found his place with you :)
Yay, good to see you back! I love the cape, it’s so glam rock and fits her style!! Also omg Bruno is just absolutely adorable, I’m so glad he found a loving home with you. Oh, and a tip about removing the supports from 3d printed stuff- soak it in hot water (tap hot, not boiling hot) for a minute or two and it will make them much easier to remove. Just be careful not to scratch the rest of the resin.
I have also recently "acquired" another cat. The neighbors stopped taking care of him, so now he comes to us for all of his meals and a place to sleep.
BRUNO HAS MY WHOLE HEART OH MY GOD his story is so beautiful! i'm sorry to hear about boo, but it does sound like bruno knew you were looking for a companion
I had this pony as a kid! It was one that was handed down to me from an older cousin, so I didn’t have all the accessories, only the barrettes. I remember being so frustrated that my hair was too thick for the cute little bird barrette to work in my hair. I also remember the hair from the tail getting tangled around the base of the tail. I guess that means I twirled it a lot, lol. Thanks for this walk down memory lane. I’d forgotten all about this pony.
IMO It's fine to make perfect replicas of stuff so long as you give it some kind of small mark that collectors can use to ID that it's a replica, and with 3D modeling I would imagine it's quite easy to model something like your signature and then scale it down SUPER TINY and attach it to the back of the model surface, or even an indent, much like they do on the hooves of ponies and such~ She looks FABULOUS, and it's great to hear from you again!
I LOVE your videos! Your narration is always so fun to listen to. You could add some gold to the earrings and tie it all in, I think the colors aren't too overly matching. I'm sorry about your other cat, it's sweet that another one has found you - almost like a guardian angel
Bruno is such an adorable guy, and he clearly loves to be loved on! I’m so happy he’s found his new family, and that you guys have found your new kitty that the universe seems to have given you :) I’m super happy to see another restoration vid! I love to watch these before bed to wind down, your voice is very calming
i really like the earrings design, it's very cute! (also it so hard for me to get used to the concept of a 3d printing, it still looks like magic) bruno is super cute too, i hope he will become a part of your loving family
I'm not a pony or toy restoration person, but I loved watching your video. The result was so cute! Vintage items with customizations have so much character and charm.
Welcome back! I'm so glad to see you again in my recommendations! The video is great as always. Thanks for the opportunity to relax after all this crazy stressing things of the passed week! edit: OMG a kitten?? Congratulations!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a fur baby.. but I'm glad you were able to take in Bruno and provide him a new and loving home.
You're too hard on yourself! I love how Twirler cleaned up, and her cape is marvelous! I never knew dance n prance ponies had such great earrings, I wish I could find one with her accessories intact for myself but I'd imagine they get lost over the years.
TH-cam recommended one of these pony restoration videos to me two days ago and now I’ve watched the whole playlist! Thinking I need to go find my ponies at my parents’ place and give them a spa day!
i lost my cat that I had for about 10 years about 2 months ago. still misses her. good you take care of the old man :) he is lucky to have found you. and I needed this video, a hard day here :) it made me happy I live ponnies. I have one from 89. , its with with a car on the side.
You don't need to be so hard on yourself. Everyone came out great! I wouldn't have noticed half the "flaws" I'd you hadn't pointed them out. Be proud of yourself. All progress is good progress and you did an excellent job.
I forgot about Twirler! Don't be so hard on yourself she looks lovely! As you live in the UK buy some ElbowGrease spray or cream cleanser. It's really good on stubborn stains you can even use it on clothes! I get it in any of the pound shops. Worth a try. Thanks for sharing.
as always, the pony turned out amazing! you never fail to astonish me with your insane painting skills!! take all the time you need for each and every video you make-i’m glad you took the time to make this one. it was well worth the wait, just as so many more will be down the line. keep up the amazing work!
While I’m sad you guys were unable to adopt a bonded pair of cats from an adoption center or shelter, I am always really happy to hear how well regulated the animal adoption system is in the UK. The adoption system in my country has very little regulation, especially at the government level. It’s really up to volunteers to try and fight for the animals to be treated well, which can be incredibly frustrating when it doesn’t go well. :/ Thank you for reminding me that there are places that have better systems in place and that can provide a template for better animal adoption systems in my country. Hope that made sense! :)
She’s beautiful!! I love the accessories so much! It gives her a regal feeling like a queen. Also welcome Bruno! He’s very cute and I’m happy he has a loving home 💕💕
This video inspired me to start blender classes. I have always wanted to learn how to 3d model, but it always seemed daunting when I opened up the program. But then you made those earrings, and it seemed to not be scary anymore.
I just discovered your channel, it's so relaxing to watch you restore and give a second life to all these toys with the lo-fi type of music in the background, I love your content!
Thank you so much for your videos -- my 3-year-old son caught me watching these on my phone one day when he was watching one of his shows on the TV, and now he regularly asks to watch "my pony show" (his being the animated shows). We regularly snuggle up together on the couch, and he excitedly narrates your videos for me -- "now she's going to clean the pony! The pony feels so much better now!" It honestly makes my day whenever I see a new video! We both think Twirler looks beautiful, and can't wait for more new ponies! When he's a little older, we're going to try to make some of our own customs too -- so thank you for spreading the pony love to me and my kiddo! 💜
I enjoy ALL of your content. A washed pony, earrings and a cape made for excellent viewing and was so entertaining! I loved it! And loved your new kitty and hearing his story. Thanks so much for sharing! 😊
Hey it's okay, it's still nice, and the pony is lovely! You have nothing to feel ashamed about as far as the accessories go. Especially since they are only extras. That being said, once again I'm very glad I follow your channel, cause today I found an old second-hand G2, and she was in an awful condition - no wonder she only cost 50 cents. She was painted with some sort of thick red paint in some places - a stripe made on her mane and tail, and a heart painted on her side. And the person even added some sort of strong transparent glue over the heart so it won't come off. Sadly, the mane and tail were shortened to half of their lenght (I can't reroot), but well, on the other hand, it gives her a style. I managed to remove the glue and most part of the paint today (managed to clean the mane and tail!) - but I need acetone for the next wash, which I'll purchase soon. She'll be so pretty when I'm done! I wouldn't be able to do so if not for your vids, so thank you! Also, sweet kitty!
I barely ever comment on videos but I just found your channel a few days ago and you've inspired me to try to restore of my (fake) G3 ponies from when I was little!! I used to play with her a lot but kept forgetting to brush her hair so it's... pretty tangled and breaking off haha but I can't wait to see her all new :) great content!! I am from Brazil so sorry if my English is a little awkward, usually it's fine but please tell me if I need to reword something
This was a delightful video! I would happily watch you take on any project. With the cape and the earrings, Twirler looks like she's attending a movie premiere! I love it! Also, I was unaware Boo was no longer with us. Very sad for y'all. But I'm also very glad Bruno found his way to you, and I know you will do your best to give him a good home.
Great restoration! Your mold for the earring that holds onto the pony's ear looks superior to the original and your cape will stay on better than the boas would. Fantastic!
the result is so pretty! I hadn't considered using faux fur as a replacement for the feather boas, but I think it works out quite well given the feather boas are harder to work with and are fragile.
Really love these more talkative videos! I have a hard time just sitting and watching a video with no voice in it so this has been a really nice change that i hope to see more of!!
a lovely job! jsyk, curing is meant to be the last step in uv resin printing, after cleaning and removing supports c: magenta and other neon or vibrant colors are often transparent, even with good paint brands. putting a white or pale base color on before using the color helps reduce layers, as does mixing enough white to add opacity to the color! and metalic thread is the bane of any crafters existence, companies have decades of experience but cant think of any way to improve the quality, the nerve!
I love twirlier! She turn out great! We love glamorous diva here. Cape (a little baldy) amazing and earrings, very cute and gorgeous. Don't be harsh on yourself, you're creativity inspiring
I'm so happy to hear good things are happening! I love Bruno, he is an adorable little void 💕 The restoration is gorgeous and she definitely stands out in a spectacular and unique way!! Can't wait to see what's next for your projects and restorations! 😊👍
Missed pride month :( I wish they still made toys like this they are genuinely so charming, the little bulky buttons that do things, mechanisms that don’t have electronic elements.
Absolutely!! I didn't grow up with the first generation ponies but I collect them more than anything else. They are so unique, and it is a very satisfying and rewarding project to clean and restore them
girl you undermine yourself soo much. your stuff is so good! the earrings are absolutely not underwhelming. they're super cute and look great! all your work slaps 😤 keep at it and don't be too hard on yourself (: it's easier to improve that way. I'm also super into the custom accessories. hope to see more of them!! also I love Bruno and I would die for him
I've been watching your restoration videos over the last couple days, and I find them very relaxing and satisfying. Your finished work is always gorgeous! This is (I think? It's been so long) the only pony you've done that I actually owned myself when I was little, and the nostalgia of seeing her again hit me like a truck. XD I think you did a great job giving her some fancy new accessories.
She's bold and looks fabulous! She is happy to be loved again. I'm sorry for the loss of your kitty Boo, you've got great videos and pictures of her so you can always relieve them. Also congratulations on your new baby
as someone who lives in eastern europe it is so weird to see the length in which you went to find who that can belonged to previously, my first thought would have been that it was just a stray because we have sooo many stray cats here, it's really cool that you don't have that problem at all in the UK :)
major commendations on rescuing an older kitty from the streets! it's already apparent that Bruno is very happy and that he will be well spoilt in his golden years. :) i adore your process of learning as you perfect your skills to restore all these awesome Ponies and it really makes me happy that the wonderful toys of my youth are being given such loving fixes and glam-ups! you are awesome! i love watching your videos.

I love the cape actually, it is longer than the boa sure but you just made her something fluffier and still pretty. Outfit options are nice.
I used to play with her a lot but kept forgetting to brush her hair so it's... pretty tangled and breaking off haha but I can't wait to see her all new :)
great content!! I am from Brazil so sorry if my English is a little awkward, usually it's fine but please tell me if I need to reword something
You did good with your English
@@ChicagoMel23 thank you :)
This was great! Nice restoration. For me, the before and after were like night and day.
I think she looks adorable!
Really love these more talkative videos! I have a hard time just sitting and watching a video with no voice in it so this has been a really nice change that i hope to see more of!!
This is so cute!!! You were so caring with the accessories!
a lovely job!
jsyk, curing is meant to be the last step in uv resin printing, after cleaning and removing supports c:
magenta and other neon or vibrant colors are often transparent, even with good paint brands. putting a white or pale base color on before using the color helps reduce layers, as does mixing enough white to add opacity to the color!
and metalic thread is the bane of any crafters existence, companies have decades of experience but cant think of any way to improve the quality, the nerve!
I'm so sorry to hear about Boo. It's so sad when they pass. Glad your new little one is doing well.
I have the same pony! Really thrilled to see how it turns out!
I love twirlier! She turn out great! We love glamorous diva here. Cape (a little baldy) amazing and earrings, very cute and gorgeous. Don't be harsh on yourself, you're creativity inspiring
I'm so happy to hear good things are happening! I love Bruno, he is an adorable little void 💕
The restoration is gorgeous and she definitely stands out in a spectacular and unique way!! Can't wait to see what's next for your projects and restorations! 😊👍

I absolutely adore the outfit u designed for Twirler, its so cute!! 💖🌸💕
Missed pride month :(
I wish they still made toys like this they are genuinely so charming, the little bulky buttons that do things, mechanisms that don’t have electronic elements.
Absolutely!! I didn't grow up with the first generation ponies but I collect them more than anything else. They are so unique, and it is a very satisfying and rewarding project to clean and restore them
I don't think I ever knew about these ponies, fascinating! Great restoration, and I'm so happy you found Bruno and gave him a home!
Bruno is so cute omg!!! I'm so glad yous were able to find him, he deserves to be well loved.
girl you undermine yourself soo much. your stuff is so good! the earrings are absolutely not underwhelming. they're super cute and look great! all your work slaps 😤 keep at it and don't be too hard on yourself (: it's easier to improve that way.
You’re way too humble this was so good ! Love the resin printed earrings they’re awesome ❤
Thank you so much 😊😊
She's ended up looking so nice and ready to party..
The pony and accessories look stunning well done!!!
So glad you are back. The pony turned out wonderful and so did her little furry stole.
She's bold and looks fabulous! She is happy to be loved again. I'm sorry for the loss of your kitty Boo, you've got great videos and pictures of her so you can always relieve them. Also congratulations on your new baby
Oh my gosh, please tell Bruno I love him.
as someone who lives in eastern europe it is so weird to see the length in which you went to find who that can belonged to previously, my first thought would have been that it was just a stray because we have sooo many stray cats here, it's really cool that you don't have that problem at all in the UK :)
I love the pony, you did a great job. Also, welcome Bruno, he's such a cutie.
major commendations on rescuing an older kitty from the streets! it's already apparent that Bruno is very happy and that he will be well spoilt in his golden years. :)
i adore your process of learning as you perfect your skills to restore all these awesome Ponies and it really makes me happy that the wonderful toys of my youth are being given such loving fixes and glam-ups! you are awesome! i love watching your videos.
