This is probably the best menu I ever seen in videogame: music , the window , the light and the plant . Create a sense of hope and sadness. Tlou series is a beutiful masterpiece.

@@zubaydi every time i replay, when i have to see that scene again it feels like my heart is ripped from my chest, that combined with the fact joel has anxiety (pills on his dresser in pt 1) then his comment in the (pittsburg?) hotel about how its not easy (comment about body in bath tub) he says it as if he tried. sarah was what kept him alive. then many years later, he met ellie
This takes me back to times with my girlfriend Autum back in rural PA back in 2015 when I was 21. I'm a brit, so it was long distance. We'd take drives in her car and we'd listen to some of these soundtracks amongst other things. I'd stay with her at her sisters at their rustic and delapidated house, cars rusted to shit, duct-taped together. We'd sit in the back porch under the redwoods and eat under the sun and the rays that crept through the trees. We'd go on hikes through Scranton and the back-woods of lake ariel. Through heat and snow. It's a different world over there.
The nostalgia of this deepens considering the fact that she died 2 years ago... Rest in peace Pantheress.

This soundtrack is a perfect mix of nostalgia, despair, catharsis, foreboding, comfort, danger, loss, and relief. I don’t know how it makes you feel all of those things, but it does. Truly a masterpiece.
It's amazing how this soundtrack manages to put me at ease and unsettle me at the same time.

When it’s past midnight and the world is silent, this is what that peaceful emptiness sounds like.
You know... When i heard this music and have played about 12 hours gameplay( the last of us remastered/ the last of us and left behind part) i feel every feeling in my body and I just let go of my stress and just listen to the music Flow thorugh me....
It seemed like the end of episode 3 was an homage to this title screen, and I love it.
I have been going through life with this playing in the background for years. Thank you! Listening to the soundtrack on Spotify is one thing. But this. Idk how you did it, but this puts me right inside the game. I feel like I am walking through a hot summer field, swatting flies, and looking for a water source to make camp at for the evening. It’s breathtaking and heartbreaking and transformative as hell.
I used to listen to the title screen while reading every night back in 2013/14. Such relaxing music for such a thrilling game.

It's amazing how one soundtrack, from one video game, can make someone feel relaxed. I put music on for my students when we are in school. I've tried a 10-hour Skyrim "Rainy Night and Ambience" for relaxation and background noise. I put it on for myself as much as I do for my kids. Skyrim hasn't been doing it for me in terms of relaxation/helping *me* feel relaxed lately (even though it has in the past). But I put this one on today, and I'm amazed at how I'm feeling. I feel ready for situations that might arise and feel relaxed! But I am also feeling *SO* relaxed that I feel sleepy! (Haha.) Thank you so much for this 10-hour version. I plan on using it for the foreseeable future!

i had trouble sleeping and was able to sleep very soundly thanks to this 👍
although i dreamt of that i lived in a tlou world where every clicker was eradicated, and i and other survivors were enjoying our peace, when suddenly we spotted a clicker for the first time in years. this clicker was fused to the concrete it was buried in, and was intelligent enough to sidestep our bullets. it took a lot of ammunition to kill, when suddenly hordes of armored clickers like this one started pouring out of the ground, and then i woke up
it was a really cool dream, and i think i was only able to dream it because of this ambience
this all soundtrack is the BEST in all the games. THIS PEACE is incredible
i did a repro list to loop this one, 10 hours is just not enough for this master piece

Thank you for this. I suffer with really bad anxiety when I go to sleep and need music/sounds to help me relax. The last of us has helped me so much with my depression and this couldn’t be more perfect and the fact that this music goes on for 10 hrs is amazing. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night when the music isn’t playing anymore so thank you. 💓💓💓

I'm just going to be honest, TLoU is that one game that makes you realize how crazy and hard living through a zombie apocalypse is.
People just assume that it's like CoD zombies where you can get a vundervaffe at like round 3 and get to round 100 easily.
But it's definitely harder than it seems.
And also, TLoU might've been the only game on Earth where it's so popular and basically everyone owns it to the point the majority of TH-cam videos that are about The Last of Us has a little amount of views.

Did an online/virtual Army land-nav course (quarantine lyfe) with this playing in the background. Walking alone through the woods looking for points on a map. Very appropriate.
Listening to this while sitting in a park alone by the lake with the sun setting hits different.
Birds fly over the lake, boats drift across.. the mountains in the distance seem hopelessly endless. The trees loom over you like 20 foot giants…

This game gave me such a unique experience to what I was used to at the time. The only other games that gave me this same feeling were Dark Souls, and Ghost of Tsushima and my only wish is to play these games for the first time again.

I vividly remember back in either my freshman or sophomore years of high school (so either 2015 or 2016,) the night of/morning after homecoming, I decided to play one of these 10 hour vids on my computer for background noise to sleep to. Idk why this reminds me of that night and waking up to it the next morning so vividly, but it does.

Went a bought this randomly at gamestop and I remember just being stuck after the into sequence. I then proceeded to beat it three times. Once on normal, then survivor finally grounded. It was a blast. I wish I could experience for the first time again or watch someone
