I think one good thing to remember that wasn't covered is your character setup. If you're grinding like this, make use of the Integrated Presets option. Create a specific setup with all things that make you go fast; gear with swiftness, pet on swiftness, engravings that add speed etc. There is no combat, so literally create a setup for running fast and cover more ground. I'm not sure what the respawn time is on flowers, but if you worked that out then you could prob cover more area quicker and widen the route for more optimal farming.
I was expecting this mount to be a white cloud flying nimus that has more height, but I didn't expect it to look like a dark grey color that's kind of flat looking - kind of disappointing.

So, I farmed on shangra throughout the day with multiple characters. Got excited and purchased the dew only the realise the quest is on a different character. The luminous dew is soulbound. Does anyone know if I can abandon the quest and try to pick it up again on new character? I put a ticket in with AGS and they told me they can't(won't) do anything.

Hitting 7k dew tomorrow and I am confused about one thing, is the cloud mount dark or white lol, I thought it was white and yours looks dark (which I prefer)
So it's weird because it's both. The cloud just.... Decides how it wants to look. So sometimes you'll get a bright white cloud and sometimes you'll get a dark cloud like you see here. That's been my experience.

@@EDone1863 the boost does speed you up, in fact you end up at about the same place with all the mounts in the same time period. this is because while the BOOST might not look like you go as far, it doesn't stop you to play a animation during the start and end. this causes lost time which evens out with boost type mounts. jump mounts are the same, there is a animation that slows you down slightly. to conclude ALL mounts go the same speed and all mounts movement skills move you same distance if used properly. however it should be noted that dashes and jumps get caught on the sides/corners of walkways and as such you waste their CD. a boost mount doesn't have this issue because it's over a duration. if you want to test this yourself just go to a city with a long path and find a starting line, time yourself with a timer using boost/jump/dash. you will find you end up in pretty much the same spot with any kind of mount. yes this includes the first mount you get at the start of the game. honestly they did a REALLY good job with keeping all the mounts completely balanced. it's more about visuals and which version of moment skill you like. i tested with Terpeion, Soda Charmkuri, Red Mane Wolf and Dyorika Brown Horse (starting horse in brown color).

Yeah, but this rainy grey cloud color is horrific, i would never waste my time with that horrible thing. If it was yellow like Goku's one, i would gladly farm this island every single day.
It should be a sparking gold object on the ground you can interact with (you see me do it in the video). Just make sure you're at the right cave there are several caves on the island you can enter like this.

@@amenxia9847 I don't think plants themselves will just give more mats in Punika. What you gain is more frequent spawns of lvl 20 and lvl 30 plants/mining nodes/trees. So in that regard yes If your life skills levels are high enough thats where I would go.
Hello, thanks for the guide. quick question, I waited approx 2 1/2 minutes outside shangra island(on ship), but I spawned inside an instance where I was far behind against a highly populated instance. any pointers?
I would say waiting 30 seconds is the better bet. It's still a gamble what instance you end up in but if I had to guess you probably just had bad luck getting back spawned into one of the earlier instances. I found between 30 sec to 1 min to be the sweet spot. Your instance will always be fully populated but your goal is to hopefully spawn in after many of the dew farmers already joined and filled their own instance.
That is very smart about the instance one of the first things i tried was to change instances, but it showed no others in the dropdown, so I didn't realize it actually had separate instances. Also, just FYI, i didn't search for this it just showed up on my YT home page. The grind had kinda turned me off with all the people also farming.
Why is your cloud so.. dark and gloomy? o_O I could swear I've seen someone riding that thing around and it was snowwhite. On the picture in shangra it's snowwhite as well so why is yours so dirty o-o
So you need to do 50(!) missions on that island, 35 mins each, to get a mount? WHAT? Nah, ty I'll keep my spectral tiger. That cloud would need to have perma boost available to be worth of all that effort.
Do the Rescue the Stone Monkey event on Shangra. It's a timed event with the green symbol. The monkey that comes out after gives the quest. I'm not sure the quest is guaranteed to show up or not so it may take a couple tries.
Is easy to figure out a time frame. You need 7,500 and if you average 100 dew per visit. 7,500÷100= 75 visits on the island. Now it all depends how many times you can do the island in a day. I personally go 1-2 times a day so that will take me around 35-75 days.
I'm glad i saw how the mount looks on this video, and damn that thing is ugly lol. Like, why it's grey? Why couldn't be white like the ones on the island itself? Or even better, yellow, like goku's Flying Nimbus, it would be insane.
Honestly it's weird it kind of changes color sometimes it's a bright white and sometimes it's a darker cloud when I use it. But KR has some fancier versions of the mount so if that's what you're looking for then I'm sure it will be in the shop eventually.

The quest will ask you to get Luminous Silverdew, which you'll have to buy from the NPC for 7000 dew. The mount costs 7500, so you're just paying 500 less dews for the mount by making this quest. You're not gonna get the mount without farming at least 7000 dew, sooo, good luck.
yeah it is quite the grind :) dw tho as time goes on the mount will get cheaper so you could just buy it with gold. I read on NA servers its like 800k almost but on EU I have seen it sell for 120k - 150k, I think grinding the 150k gold would be much faster tbh

No thank you. It doesn't even have QWE skills and it's not THAT cool. Saw a better one in Korea, going to do that instead of waste SO SOOOO much time getting this. There's a limit to how much I want this mount, thought it was cool but it's not worth it, period. Saw a cloud one that had lightning, did a flip, etc. This is extremely time consuming yet subpar mount.

The island spawns 6 times per day and you can go each time.

If you get 150-200 per run (35 minutes) you spend 22-24 hours on this island playing songs to get the mount.
Good luck getting anything over 150 now. Shangra is flooded with people now.

If you figure an average of 150 dew per visit and visiting 5 times a day you can get it within 10 days.
On average human that is around a month maybe.
