Condor Terrasuar | First Impressions and Comparison to Popular Knives
    DESIGN BY JOE FLOWERS
Joe Flowers, designer for Condor® Tool and Knife, collaborated with custom makers on a multi-use fixed blade knife in 2009, suitable for bushcrafters, hunters, adventurers, and all woodsmen. The Condor Terrasaur Knife was the result. Now, Condor will be making the first production version of the knife, in a compact value based package. The goal of the Condor Terrasaur is to make an affordable super bushcraft knife that can be used by anyone, from the beginner all the way to the expert woodsman. With an undestructable polymer handle and ambidextrous sheath, backed by Condor’s lifetime warranty, the Terrasaur has arrived.
BLADE MATERIAL: 3mm -1075 HIGH CARBON STEEL
    BLADE FINISH: Coated
    BLADE LENGTH : 105.4mm
    HANDLE: HIGH IMPACT POLYPROPYLENE
    SHEATH: POLYPROPYLENE
BLADES are made from English 420 HC (High Carbon) surgical quality Stainless Steel or German 1075 High Carbon Steel and are heat treated and annealed to about 52-54 Rockwell for the machetes (a measure of hardness) and 56-58 for the knives. Every edge is hand finished and polished to razor sharpness.

I'm no pro and very much amateur when it comes to ferro rods. I got a terrasuar and threw a spark into wet grass and it bounced off still sparking first try( outta the box). Not an expert but maybe put more force on the knife and pull the rod. I've now lit over 20 fires first pull (cheap walmart ferro rod) this week alone

Yeah could do. With me depends on the tinder and the weather. Either way in doing it is correct as long a you get a fire. If it’s windy I put the blade on top of the tinder and use it to block the wind and you can focus the sparks Nicely. Think I shown it in another vid. Thanks for watching

@@prepperinthewoods situational always for sure. The spark bounce was during a rain storm in vermont late April so ground was still cold. Just wanted to see how the spark would work with the knife. That one try ignited multiple fires the same situation just more understood

It’s really comfortable to use. No hot spots or nothing and carves well. I can see why it’s so popular. Thanks for watching

Just add a carabiner to the loop mate makes it ride lower and is easy to put on and take off too! Nice knife! Check out CyClaire knives and tools for some great deals! Best wishes 👍🏽😎
