This seems like a really good option for someone like me, I use to race Mustang as a teenager but now I’m in my early 20s and want something basic and easy to maintain/afford.
Does the SE have sport mode? I recently bought the SEL version and I love it for the price. I would recommend anyone to avoid the SE version for a variety of reasons like no center arm rest, smaller touch screen, no fog lights, plastic wheel covers over steel rims, etc... I got the SEL for only a couple hundred more than the SE at the dealership that I bought it. The resale value will be better on the SEL I'm sure. I will also say this car feels like driving an electric car, there's no shifting thanks to the CVT. You do hear engine noise of course, which electric cars don't have, but its interesting to pass people driving manual transmission vehicles because every time they have to shift their car momentarily falls back from the loss in power lol.
Like that you just give a driver's perspective with no narration. Prices have skyrocketed since the Brandon effect took hold. Found a dealer that doesn't mark up but no inventory! Thanks. BTW you have a great Mic or this car has one of the loudest turn signal indicators I've ever heard.
It's nice that Hyundai made the fake shifts an interval of a Major 3rd as opposed to the common minor third in Honda/Toyota/Subaru Fake shifting CVTs and the horribly ugly major second in Nissans. For the best results they should have made the fake shifts an interval of a Perfect 4th. Nobody would complain about the fake shifts, but power and smoothness would be sacrificed. It seems to me that if you're gonna program fake shifts, might as well do it so nobody can complain.
Car and driver was saying it does 0 to 60 with a manual in 7.5 seconds. That would make it 3 full seconds faster than the Nissan Versa. Is that right??
That was their best results, probably with one person, at the right elevation, at the right temperature, with not a full tank of gas, with a good driver etc. I would expect 0 to 60 to be around 8 to 8.5. Still faster than the Versa; correct.
Haha, my goal is to provide the viewer with the experience like they’re driving the car. Hopefully this video gives the viewer a good gauge on whether the vehicle is right for them or not, and to keep them from getting harassed by salesman.

Yep! The SE has sport mode. I would recommend getting an SEL too.
I hate Hyundai but damn I’ve always loved this car and I don’t know why. Maybe because I like them made simple and no one does that anymore

Versa SR is listed at 9.9 seconds.
I think it's a tad bigger, and a tad heavier than an Accent.
Also Hyundai makes a better cvt.
