Oil pump gears and crank sprocket are snake oil, I'm making 800 with my ESS kit on E85. It's a money grab for shops to sell more labor. Bouncing off the rev limiter constantly is what kills them, not power.
@@lahfarla2941 i dont have them either but the "premise" is that its cheap insurance, I guess and it makes aense that if your gonna go the FI route might as well add the opg while your at it. If you got the car already FI maybe going thru the hassle isnt worth it and just be careful. Remember, "Nothing is an issue till it becomes an issue" Not knowing anyone that it has happened to means nothing 👊
@DrewPWebos if you aren't bouncing off the limiter it's insurance that isn't needed. People think power breaks them when it's bouncing off the limiter especially boosted that kills them. All these people with autos getting them like you shouldn't be bouncing off the limiter you're an auto lol. You shouldn't be with a manual either if you can drive and have half a brain lol.
I have a Procharger D1-X on my 2020GT (can see it on my channel, I'm not a TH-camr though) and it made 770HP at the wheels with the the largest 120MM Pulley (12psi), Fore Fuel system, E85, 10R80, Palm Beach Dyno tuned. Actually they did all the work. I can go to a smaller pulley and make 840 without retuning.
Should have went ESS or vortech Prochager had the dumb design of running an extra balancer on top of the stock balancer making it more prone to snapping the crank. It’s a reason the crank support exist for it and not ESS/vortech . Best bang for buck would have been ESS for money, light weight, functionality with oil changes and power.
Damn I’m jealous. I used to have a silver mustang and always wanted to supercharge it. I have a charger now and love it but right now I can’t even afford to think about supercharging it lol Hopefully 1 day though

Get Tuned By (WENGERED PERFORMANCE 🏁) I have your same setup. I pullied down to a 4.63 pulley (not much but 10 psi on pump) You should upgrade the clutch later on an RXT Mcleod and an MGW short race spec shifter 😉🙌
Get a louder blow off valve that's so quiet. Ess still 1000x better than procharger!!! Easier to install its way lighter and it sounds way better . Prochatger being out longer means nothing . ESS FOR THE WIN. Btw you make more power with a smaller pulley not a bigger pulley. 😅

the supercharger sounds so good when you get on it, its definitely worth the lower mpg 😄
They really don't even get lower unless you're on it 24/7 when you aren't in boost it should be basically unchanged.

Make sure you are now putting 5W-50 in that car. Oh and get ready to do a clutch and upgraded axles as sooner than later they become the weak links.

You're right about the pulley, I got it backwards. You're leaving out the best part about the ESS kit, it's the cheapest.
