I really like how EVERYONE spends the entirety of the group scenes just waiting for the betrayal twist and then it never happens the episode reveals it happened with Josh instead. Just phenomenal fake out.
Can you honestly say you didn't see it coming from a mile away? This perfect guy comes around in an episode revealing that people are out to kill her? It even showed him right after the bad group in the "previously on" segment. I thought it was blatantly obvious and I would've been shocked if he was actually good all along.
@@samuelbones3626 I knew he wasn't "the guy" but also I figured group of potential bad guys could have been working with Josh. I was waiting for him to be porcupine.

Jen actually letting her walls down and being vulnerable with Blonsky’s group is my favorite dramatic scene of the show. When she talked about how she felt like she was cheating by being able to turn into She-Hulk and wanted to find a guy that liked her for both Jen and She-Hulk I wanted to reach through that broken 4th wall, give her a hug and tell her we all love both versions of her. And I love that (so far) it looks like Blonsky actually has reformed, which is something I wish happened more in comics and on screen adaptations, reformed bad guys don’t NEED to become superheroes, they can live regular lives like actual ex cons. But I have to be fair and critical and say that not only did I hate that the only guy on the show she has dated the seemed like a really nice guy is actually a bad guy, I REALLY a hate that trope. And there is absolutely no reason why she didn’t ask that guy at the resort who hired him and his crew to attack Jen. They could’ve written that he told her he was hired anonymously and has no idea who they are, which would make Jen be more cautious.
I was expecting the reveal to be that the Wrecking Crew kidnapped Josh and they later reveal that to her as a way to get in her nerves. But I feel like that's also a cliché, I think that no matter the way they did it it would have been played out anyways.
I LOVE that you two are like, "Shut up and enjoy the fact that we're getting a She-Hulk show, and it's fun, and it's a lawyer show, and it's filled with clever fan service, and oh, by the way, it's a half-hour streaming TV show, for Pete's sake!" The expectations that some place on this show-and the fact that they get disappointed and indignant, and then judge-y when they're not met-are exceedingly silly. Just shut your face, people, and enjoy this!
Not just this show; it seems to have become a standard for certain people, regarding anything fictional. ^But tbh, I see that behavior as a psuedo-vicious cycle mentality; all it does is perpetuate being disappointed, angry, and other things when expectations aren't met (almost like a child misbehaving and being rewarded for it). Marvel were completely up front about what this show was going to be. They haven't lied about it once, yet some people are trying to make it bigger than it was supposed to be. What I have discovered is these fans have forgotten how to have fun with their favourite fandoms.
This show would be fine if this was just a one shot but i imagine She Hulk is going to be around for awhile so is it asking to much for it to have at least a little substance to it? And where is the Lawyering in this show Jen has done next to nothing in the courtroom. And it's obvious the Daredevil reveal in the trailer was just to get people to watch because there's now only 2 episodes to go and still no Daredevil. Marvel really needs to get better writers because Phase 4 has not been good.
How quickly the guy denied that Josh wanted Jen’s blood was my favourite joke because it’s so subtle and of course he’d deny the idea. Also Jen finding a group of men who are in touch with their emotions and who want to support her for the right reasons shows that whilst the show isn’t afraid to pull punches with men, it also puts the spotlight on people like Pug and the Retreat ‘Gang’ as positive influences.
Pug changed character from being an incompetent lawyer to an idiot who now is "fly". I assume the gang will try to kill her. No men are safe on this show. They only write dumb men or terrible men that hurt women. Also, the guy that slept with her first was cat fished and yet he was the bad guy???

Emil and others were so supportive of Jen. You can tell Jen was really upset from her voice when she was telling them about Josh. When she transformed from She Hulk to Jennifer, her nervousness which then turned to shyness and happiness proved that the circle conversation helped a lot. After this, I am convinced that Emil is not bad but will get himself into something and become bad that way.
Glad I recently put into words how the main plot is Jen's situation regarding how she sees herself and how others see hee and how She Hulk complicates that, cos this ep is laser focused on continuing that, and wouldn't make sense outside that understanding. Blonsky's whole deal being genuine plays perfectly into that, but lots of people probably expected this would lead to a fight.

this is the first episode we’ve actually had proper shots showing jen’s transformation instead of just a close up part of her or a clever cut away. and it looks really good
Most people would say that Porcupine's suit would look incredibly goofy in live action. And they would be absolutely right. But, it just works so well for this show!!!!!
If you notice, Jen scratches the same point on her neck multiple times in different scenes after her tryst with Josh. I think it was a subtle signal to show that's where the blood was drawn from. If so, nice bit of subtle acting on the part of Maslany.
This show is not what I expected it to be… at all! However, I can‘t keep myself from really liking it for not being action ridden but character centered. It‘s wonderful low key superhero, higher key Lawyer, highest key personal journey TV fun in the otherwise bombastic MCU. Very refreshing!
I think the way it's going to play out is that the next episode is a lawyer-y episode where Matt Murdock shows up as a lawyer. And the plot against She-Hulk is going to come to a head and she'll be attacked or whatever, and Matt will Daredevil it up to help her.
I would like to know why Matt is having a suit made in LA. There's something he must be tracking down, that originated in New York. Probably Intelligencia & The Leader, or people that want to sue Blonsky over Harlem?
I've been ghosted a couple of times by men I thought were really into me, so this episode hit HARD. The only thing I can't figure out is Josh actually got her blood, or if he took the 'creep shot' of her so that he could threaten to blackmail her by sending the shot to all of the contacts he downloaded from her phone. "Let us have your blood or we send this photo to your friends and family." OF "Don't try to stop us, or we'll send this photo to your friends/family."
I'm surprised at how well Emil is doing as a therapist. Also, Jen really needs to get a Stark phone or whatever the Avengers currently use. I mean, Bruce still gets reception beyond Earth orbit, but Jen's phone can't even get any bars a couple hours drive away from the city?! Plus as the head of a metahuman law department, she should have a phone that isn't hackable.
You know, I legitimately like that group and I would like to have something's like that to be open with and everything. It seems really nice and cool. I also feel so bad for Jen because I really liked Josh. I hate that every guy has to be bad and she can't have a good one. I was suspicious but didn't want to be because he seemed so nice. And no, the whole "nice guy" thing is not right because people deserve people who are actually nice, not jerks who break rules and stuff like girls seemed to date in high school. Also I don't understand what was wrong with her texts like the others reacted. They seem fine and I would text like that. IT LETS PEOPLE KNOW YOU CARE! I wouldn't delete someone's number. That's stupid. People sometimes get busy but you still have it just in case
"Bar With No Name." Yes. Don't forget the other establishment from which we are about to receive "Blow Jobs." "Sister Margaret's School for Wayward Children." "Sounds like a God damn franchise full of cool drinking holes to me." "🎶In stormy black mountains, I wander alone...🎶"
The song that Jay and Adam thought it was also was my first thought though that's a song by Savage Garden who were an Australian group that I honestly didn't think had an international following at that stage in their career so that was nice to find out. It's actually a song by HAIM called "Now I'm In It". I had to look it up because it did such a good job making me feel happy I knew I was being set up for a massive fall. Damn you Josh, or whatever your name is. Even though they try not to be violent anymore I want Blonsky's group to destroy you. The vampire can suck your blood, Man-Bull can tear limb from limb and they do all this while you sit, breathing in the small of the Porcupine suit. It's cruel and unusual and all completely deserved. When I first said I love you to the first woman I loved the very next day she went away to a place that had no cell service for 5 days. Despite that I still checked my phone every day so it's really hard to see Jen go through it.
I honestly don't mind this show. It feels different which I'm enjoying. It's a bit of escapism with a back story for the die hards. Rather than just throwing her in like they did with Spiderman, Thanos' whole crew etc. It's just fun. Makes me laugh.
I agree you guys. There have been a lot of detractors in the MCU these past few months, and I understand what they are saying, but I would ask those people to look at these recent series and movies through a very different lens. So many times, these detractors have only wanted to see a very narrow image of super heroes, basically bad-a$$ good guys and bad guys (or women) throw down and have massive jaw-dropping fights. At the same time, most people watching have loved it when the show or movie slowed down and let us see endearing private moments about the heroes, like moments with their children and families. I would suggest that the private moments, like training, and relationships, and mundane actions of living are a huge majority of most comic book stories. These are the important back stories and personal views that make us love these heroes (and villians, too) and give us real stakes when the battles do happen. On top of that, how do you compare movies and TV shows with so widely differing genres? Epic Action/Adventure vs spy thriller? A fun, light-hearted sit-com or a teenage coming-of-age story? The MCU is filled with super hero stories. Sure. But their genres are as wildly different as Avengers Endgame - a super hero epic action adventure vs Captain America-The Winter Soldier - a super hero spy thriller. Or She Hulk - a fun light-hearted super hero sit-com; or Ms Marvel - a super hero teenage coming of age story. You can't compare these different genre shows and movies. The best you can do is to say which genre you like more. And leave it at that. The MCU is Finally getting into the multiverse. The weird, wild, wacky, strange, mystical, horrific multiverse. All bets are off. Take what you want and leave the rest. Just like choosing which comic books to spend your allowance on. If you don't like She Hulk. Great. Walk away and go check out something else. Ms Marvel wasn't your style? Fine. Go find something else that is. Just don't give me any nonsense that the MCU is heading downhill. The way I see it, the MCU is finally getting interesting!
Since one of you has Avongers then other should get the Avingers shirt. Awesome video. This a very enjoyable episode of She-Hulk and I loved every minute of it. I also look forward to Josh getting Hulk smashed and not in the way that he and Jen smashed.
I saw the thumbnail of this video before I saw the episode today. And I was so worried that “too good to be true” would refer to Bronsky and his therapy group 😂 I like these guys, and I’m actually glad that Josh was the one that turned out to be too good to be true.
I mean if any show was gonna have some extra-terrestrial karate fighting dwarves it would be She-Hulk, we've already had Asgardians, Demons and Magicians
Been waiting for this reaction all day! Even if it seemed slightly silly at points, I kind of loved that about it lol We've been trained to expect bad things to happen at any second with Marvel lol so when everything goes well til the end we've been holding our breath the whole time. I honestly LOVE the therapy scene because it shows them all being human and deals with actual issues. Can't wait for another episode (and reaction) next week!
I noticed when I watched last night but it is subtle and easy to miss. Sher has a scratch on her right shoulder when she wakes up. And they probably only need a drop.....
I think She Hulk show will have more of a cult following because some people love it (me included) but a lot of people are complaining there's no action and they're just waiting for Daredevil
Since The Leader is returning for "Captain America: New World Order" I hope it ties to Intelligencia trying to get Jen's blood. Because there's no way he isn't involved in all of this. Also, I'd love for Jen to show up in that movie, because I think that'd be great. She could talk to Sam about inheriting the legacy of an already established hero, and what it means to make that legacy your own.
Depending on you count this is the third or fourth time mention vampires the first was in Thor ragnorak the second would be loki Unless you count blade himself talking at the end of eternals.
I don't know about other people, but I was very suspect of Josh in the last episode during the wedding. So when he went off the grid supposedly I kind of knew that he was up to something nefarious. And I was not shocked with the ending scene of him being the one that took her blood because they knew that they had to get it when she was not in hulk form. And I do agree that I hope he gets Barbie dolled!
I thought this would be the Daredevil episode but it does make sense for it to be the last one since it seems like he's going to convince her to fight for someone when the law can't and she's not going to just sit on that lesson. So we get that at the end of the next episode then the final is her fighting main villain. Presumably The Leader.
My prediction, episode 8 will feature Daredevil and he will change Jen's mind on the superhero gig, then episode 9 will get Jen doing the superhero stuff on HulkKing, and she will throw Josh all the way to Saakar for being an asshole.
That purple hulk on the avongers shirt reminds me of that adult swim show with the knockoff rocker Thor, knockoff captain America, and knockoff purple hulk
Wow! REAL COMIC VILLIANS. Man-Bull is a very old *Daredevil* foe(!) Porcupine was an *Avengers* foe for _decades._ El Aguila is an anti-hero (of sorts) that interacted with the *Power Man/Iron Fist* pair several times over the years.
Fun Fact: Man-Bull is played by a hilarious actor/comedian named Nathan Hurd (Check out his youtube channel Nathan Hurd Comedy) who fully deserves much more credit as an actor/comedian. He'd also made another Marvel appearance in Legion as the Monk.
I believe the ONLY thing that is hurting this show. Is that there is NOTHING else marvel happening right now. If there was another show/movie out or happening the trolls could focus on something else. She hulk isn't a masterpiece, but it's fun.

9:43 Not for nothing, but this is a pretty solid Ms. Piggy impression.
Just wanna thank you guys both for just being so awesome and supportive …. I will just leave it at that!!!
Love this show , love the cast, and nervously can’t wait to see what happens next week 😅🫢🙏
They really ought to do Muppets Assemble. With cameos from all the MCU stars.
Bless u boys for keeping up with the crazy schedule with all the new content , I barely keep up and I just watch the shows
"I am curious about how they're going to wrap this up in just two more episodes" is what I've thought about almost every MCU series on Disney+.
22:52 That's actually how migration from one iPhone to another works these days. At least when it works right.
Holy cow, Bar With No Name would be fantastic for its own microcosm of a series!!
Check out episode 4 of Hulu's MODOK. Imo, it's the direction they should've went with for the show.
You mean like HISHE Villain Pub? Which directly "rips off" Cheers?
This show is absolutely ridiculous...and I love it. This episode had me in stitches.
this is the first episode we’ve actually had proper shots showing jen’s transformation instead of just a close up part of her or a clever cut away. and it looks really good
Not true
I really feel for the CGI team. This show requires so much of it, way more than a movie, and I'm sure their under a tight schedule.
Most people would say that Porcupine's suit would look incredibly goofy in live action. And they would be absolutely right.
But, it just works so well for this show!!!!!
I'd love for the therapy group to return and help Jen against the Intelligencia(spelling???) I liked Manbull and El Aguila so much 😁
That’s what I’m thinking. And like Emil turns into Abomination to help Jen. Then they need a lawyer and Matt Murdoch shows up.
I love the Avongers! Bulk, Sore, Steel Man, Legolas, Blue Widow, & America's Ass!
for me this is fantastic episode
love the Therapy group so much 😊
love to see Jen back to smile again ☺
Thank GOD I'm not the only one who immediately thought it was a 'chicka-cherry cola' remake! Hahahaha....we're old now.
That shirt reveal was awesome.
If you notice, Jen scratches the same point on her neck multiple times in different scenes after her tryst with Josh. I think it was a subtle signal to show that's where the blood was drawn from. If so, nice bit of subtle acting on the part of Maslany.
I thought so, too! Dang...
Yah I too was waiting for the shoe to kick us in the face
I'd love to see some Marvel shorts of different villains talking with Blonsky's group who don't otherwise fit in the MCU.
Such a wholesome episode until the end. I'm always happy to see more of Tim Roth. Angry, whiny nerds out there hates fun. 🤣🤣
This show is not what I expected it to be… at all! However, I can‘t keep myself from really liking it for not being action ridden but character centered. It‘s wonderful low key superhero, higher key Lawyer, highest key personal journey TV fun in the otherwise bombastic MCU. Very refreshing!
"not everybody is your dad" - i want a backstory on him. because i'm sure there's some obscure Marvel character tie and i want it.
Blade is his dad in the comic
This ep added another Mutant in the MCU ranks, El Aguila is indeed a Mutant.
I think the way it's going to play out is that the next episode is a lawyer-y episode where Matt Murdock shows up as a lawyer. And the plot against She-Hulk is going to come to a head and she'll be attacked or whatever, and Matt will Daredevil it up to help her.
Something tells me the "gang" also come to help.
Damn, now I REALLY want some Incredulous Holk animated shorts!
6:16 - OH MY GOD JAY'S FACE IS GIVING ME LIFE
I'm surprised at how well Emil is doing as a therapist.
This was definitely one of the best episodes
You know. By the end of this season, Jen may get the gang together, and Assomble her Avongers to help her...
Imagine at the end of episode of big fight Jen breaks the 4th wall:"Time to do the Cap thing, Avongers enssemble!
I loved it!!! I want to see more retreat as well. Groot would be a great guest to speak at the retreat!!
Yeah I agree lol I didn’t get how that last text she sent was bad. Lol
well, i mean, deleting the number doesn't mean he cann't text back, so if he text back you can still talk to him
She didn't delete the messages, so she still has the number
Nah those texts were cringey bro
@@TonyCT7567 no they weren’t
I thought Jay was going to cry with this one, I can't believe he didn't. Good job Jay!
I'm glad Blonsky is actually doing the work and it wasn't just a ploy to get paroled :)
There needs to be a big final fight, Jens on the ropes...and the Gang dramatically show up to back her up
Since one of you has Avongers then other should get the Avingers shirt. Awesome video. This a very enjoyable episode of She-Hulk and I loved every minute of it. I also look forward to Josh getting Hulk smashed and not in the way that he and Jen smashed.
I love it when they have a comic book mutant appear but don't explain their powers; ijn this week's case El Aguila, who just looks so good.
Jay wearing that shirt 👕 kills me. I'm loving it
+asia roberson
#AvongersAssomble
What do you want to be that the She Hulk gang from the retreat come to her aide at some point? I may be reaching but that would be fun to see.
I saw the thumbnail of this video before I saw the episode today.
And I was so worried that “too good to be true” would refer to Bronsky and his therapy group 😂
I like these guys, and I’m actually glad that Josh was the one that turned out to be too good to be true.
I mean if any show was gonna have some extra-terrestrial karate fighting dwarves it would be She-Hulk, we've already had Asgardians, Demons and Magicians
SHOE OF DAMACLESE!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
You win the internet for "Shoe of Damocles"
That Avongers shirt is AWESOME but I have to be honest. The Hulk looks like Pablo Escobar lol
13:13 WAITING ALL DAY FOR THIS!
Love you, Adam!
THEORY: They took out post-credit scenes to spite the jerks who wouldn't stop obsessing about Daredevil. I hope so.
"Today is today"
Emil Blonsky
I noticed when I watched last night but it is subtle and easy to miss. Sher has a scratch on her right shoulder when she wakes up. And they probably only need a drop.....
That's not the Hulk on that t-shirt, that's the Bulk!
I think She Hulk show will have more of a cult following because some people love it (me included) but a lot of people are complaining there's no action and they're just waiting for Daredevil
I just love the confirmation that The Muppets exist in the MCU. 😆
Finally got internet back after Hurricane Ian and immediately watched "She Hulk" and then your reaction. I have to get an "Avongers" shirt!
I am starting to think something crazy. Does Emil turn into abomination to help Jen? And then they both need a lawyer and in walks Matt Murdoch?
Since The Leader is returning for "Captain America: New World Order" I hope it ties to Intelligencia trying to get Jen's blood. Because there's no way he isn't involved in all of this. Also, I'd love for Jen to show up in that movie, because I think that'd be great. She could talk to Sam about inheriting the legacy of an already established hero, and what it means to make that legacy your own.
He could have a cameo in the last episode and set up cap 4 and possibly set up red hulk
Jen Krazy Glues Josh to the Santa Monica Boat Pier entrance marquee, with a big placard, "Blood Sucking Dirtbag."
Depending on you count this is the third or fourth time mention vampires the first was in Thor ragnorak the second would be loki Unless you count blade himself talking at the end of eternals.
When "Jay" said he had it figured out, I thought, "No... no... it's a whole NEW level of 'bumming out.'"
Jay actually got the avongers tshirt lmaoooo amazing!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i need that shirt!!
The Shoe of Damocles?!!!
Jay laughing over Avongers 😂
The Avongers have the Helk (like "her") who constantly has his name pronounced Helk like "help". And that's why he's always angry.
Adam needs an Avingers shirt!
