@@JBWinter I think The Thunderbolts are going to be more grey, than out and out baddies. Blonsky will fit right in. Bucky is not a bad guy, and while Yelena is an assassin, she is not bad.
you guys (and Hector) really make me feel like i'm not watching the show differently because with a lot of the takes i've read about how the show has no story or feels like it's all filler and it's really baffling to me because you CLEARLY see Jen evolving more and more in each episode and battling with this kind of impostor syndrome over She-Hulk and how people perceive her as She-Hulk. this is probably their best character study since WandaVision and i'm glad you guys appreciate the character moments and the nuances the writing is capturing. love the channel!
It really makes me think the people who don't see a story, just don't see women as people. The people waiting for daredevil to come in and do something, or the people saying that nothing is happening, are just subconsciously counting down the minutes until the women are off screen. A lot of it might be personal sexism but also people can be trained to see things this way if they watch enough shitty movies.
@@micomator I think that these people don't see other people, period. They only want fights or potential set ups for fights. The only emotions they can process are feelings of anger or hatred, which then ultimately resolve in fights. They see nothing of value in exploring anything else as the primary narrative drive in entertainment - that's all "chick stuff". So I think a lot of this is just massively stunted emotional and aesthetic lack of growth (so much easier when the pop culture machine is so infantilizing), but clearly the blanket dismissal of any woman who isn't expressing herself through violence goes beyond just being adult babies and into misanthropy.
@@micomator I'm sure that's part of it. The people who get annoyed when they mention anything from a female perspective show they don't view female experiences as valid or legitimate experiences. And since our personalities are shaped by our experiences, if they don't think the experiences are valid, they're not going to see the character as a full and valid character either.
@@IceMetalPunk couldn’t agree more with both comments. i definitely think that’s part of the problem. one of the worst criticisms i can see about a movie or show in general is “this isn’t for me because i can’t relate to it” because most of the times i see that as some lack of empathy for other people's experiences and situations and i believe this is also part of the problem here, and it was also an issue with some people about Ms. Marvel and even Turning Red. humanity needs a lot of work sadly.
@@sandroloupa6678 💯 I'm hoping one day we'll get a Childhood's End situation, only without the actual end of humanity. (If you haven't read that or seen the miniseries based on it, I highly recommend it! That miniseries was so influential to how I think about the world.)
I like how Josh, the “nice guy”, was actually the most evil and the “villains” were just goofy and sincere. I mean anyone who can pretend to really dig someone even to the point of having sex, and be so convincing that Jen believes it? THAT is stone cold evil. Because he never felt it at all. And there really are people like that, so the episode was low key doing the whole “humans are the real monsters” trope.
I always love your positivity and discussion about the show. I like this episode as we hear Jen's insecurity and vulnerability both as She-Hulk and herself.
Agustin said exactly what I yell at my screen every time I heard some "critic/reviewer" talk about how some or any show "didn't meet their expectations". You take the show as it is and judge it by what the show gives you. You NEVER judge a show on what YOU think it should have done or been.
The moment I saw Porcupine, Man-Bull and the rest of the characters in that scene, I immediately imagined Agustín and Adam pulling a Shaggy going "Hector, where are you?"
I loved what Augustin was saying at around 20:20. There have been a lot of detractors in the MCU these past few months, and I understand what they are saying, but I would ask those people to look at these recent series and movies through a very different lens. So many times, these detractors have only wanted to see a very narrow image of super heroes, basically bad-a$$ good guys and bad guys (or women) throw down and have massive jaw-dropping fights. At the same time, most people watching have loved it when the show or movie slowed down and let us see endearing private moments about the heroes, like moments with their children and families. I would suggest that the private moments, like training, and relationships, and mundane actions of living are a huge majority of most comic book stories. These are the important back stories and personal views that make us love these heroes (and villians, too) and give us real stakes when the battles do happen. On top of that, how do you compare movies and TV shows with so widely differing genres? Epic Action/Adventure vs spy thriller? A fun, light-hearted sit-com or a teenage coming-of-age story? The MCU is filled with super hero stories. Sure. But their genres are as wildly different as Avengers Endgame - a super hero epic action adventure vs Captain America-The Winter Soldier - a super hero spy thriller. Or She Hulk - a fun light-hearted super hero sit-com; or Ms Marvel - a super hero teenage coming of age story. You can't compare these different genre shows and movies. The best you can do is to say which genre you like more. And leave it at that. Finally, the MCU is finally getting into the multiverse. The weird, wild, wacky, strange, mystical, horrific multiverse. All bets are off. Take what you want and leave the rest. Just like choosing which comic books to spend your allowance on. If you don't like She Hulk. Great. Walk away and go check out something else. Ms Marvel wasn't your style? Fine. Go find something else that is. Just don't give me any nonsense that the MCU is heading downhill. The way I see it, the MCU is finally getting interesting!
Thank you guys for such a positive reaction. What I love about this show and many of the Disney+ Marvel shows is how they humanise the characters and make them much more relatable to us. All the superpowers, talent, intelligence etc in the world doesnt take away from the fact that they can still be vulnerable, hurt, love and feel pain in various forms. We all use different methods to protect ourselves and there will always be times we need to strip that away to really understand who we are. You guys just get it!
Your reflections are so refreshing. I always appreciate your POV. Others are really reactive about process of delivery of this show. Your evaluation is excellent about the expectation of Daredevil’s cameo. Well done.
I said aloud when it finished that people wouldn't like this episode. Agree with you guys that it was great to see her being so introspective. Also, yeah, we hardly see these heroes processing all the trauma they're exposed to. Actually it has been the shows that have largely addressed this, and we're seeing a lesser version of it here as well. I'm here for all of it and it's one of the main reasons why I love the Disney + shows.
Thank you, guys! It's so nice to see people who get what this series is doing react and talk about it. That creep also took a picture of Jen naked and asleep, so just imagine what he's going to post or send to everyone in her address book or use to blackmail her. On the reason the Hulk refused to come out in Infinity War, rather than Hulk being scared by his fight with Thanos, the Russos did later explain that Hulk was tired of being Banner's solution to every problem. He was withholding his labor/fighting services, to make the point that he deserved to be treated better. This does make some sense though it wasn't very clear on the screen. Hulk had been living large on Sakaar, so he knew there was more to life now and his dynamic with Banner wasn't fair or equitable. Hulk had also seen slaves rise up in a revolution there, so he was revolting in the only way he knew how--by refusing to come out and fight. I was really hoping we'd get to see the full 3-film story arc for Banner and Hulk that Feige promised, but instead the Russos dropped that ball, and all we got were fragments like this and what we're told happened off camera or what's come out during interviews since. If we'd had the internal conflict on screen like Ruffalo has said he wanted, we'd have the tragic background story with the domestic abuse and death of his mother in the comics made MCU canon. Imagine a flashback of his father Brian hitting him and it turns into Thanos. That would have really tied those threads together and made sense out of a "Hulk was scared" interpretation. Just my thoughts.
I LOVE how sure you guys were that something was going to happen to her at the retreat. Love how the show played on that like when they were outside the Yurt. I was sure they were going to attack - nope, just being genuinely supportive.
I love how probably EVERYBODY who watched this episode was seeing red flag everywhere once Jen arrived at Blonsky's retreat and expect every single one of the guys there to turn on her and jump her at any given moment, but nope... turned out they were legit in therapy and supportive of her.
I laughed so much in this episode, I loved the therapy group! And I love how we all expected them to double cross her or ambush her but it was Josh who had already done that. I hope the therapy group end up being good all along.
I’m convinced the “after credit” scenes have moved to the end of the episode. At least that’s been the case on the last 3 episodes. The whole tone shifts on them. But I do miss them after the actual credits as it feels like a “gotcha!” When at the end of the episode.
@@adamburke4738 They are saying that they feel that the last scene before the credits feel like they would have been a mid credits scene in a different series.
My exact same taught! They even feel like end credit scènes! Like the daredevil helmet tease, and lab thing last week and this week the 3 days ago really feels like end credit scenes
I just love that this show doesn't give an eff, it feels like a person who doesn't take him or herself seriously, just fun and unconcerned about peoples opinion of it, its the perfect palate cleanser between Andor and Rings of Power ( for me at least)
Haha so true! Andor is dark and blade runner-like that I always look forward to the next day knowing there will be a lot of good laughs and fun goofy moments! Love this show 👏👍
First of all, love you guys! Y’all showed up in my TH-cam feed, and I’ve been watching ever since. I’ve also been enjoying She Hulk. Listening to you guys has led me to not be as hard on it. Personally though I wish the episodes were longer. Anywho, what was really interesting for me, as a lady, was listening to you being afraid for Jen in that barn full of men, being nervous for her, really feeling her vulnerability, and then it occurred to me. You’re not women. You’re not used to feeling like that. In every room where you’re the only woman. And just by being yourself you are vulnerable to every man in a room like that. As a woman, a rather small one at that, that is my everyday. It’s like in episode one where Bruce mentions anxiety and anger as triggers, and Jen said that’s the base line for every woman everywhere. That speaks to me, that the writers have stuck very closely to the intention they set in that line. Hmm
So true. Ep. 1 had the scene after the wreck when Jen went to the bar. Waiting outside when the guys came out of the bar, I noticed Jen automatically stepped around a column/post and I was like "Yeah, that's what you do." Cuz you never know.
Cannot love this comment any more ❤❤❤ that’s the reason why all the hate against this show really hurts! Here’s a show that is highlighting something very real for women and yet it’s just seen as “anti-men” which is ridiculous
I had the same thought we haven't been able to get to know any of the characters to the extent that we're getting to know Jen. And even the ones we do know pretty well like the original Avengers that's after 10 years worth of movies they're doing that with a nine episode series I think that's pretty cool
I want these guys to be legit good! I loved them so much and that whole scene reminded me of my own group therapy after being dumped and the guys in that group. I want these guys to be the example of the many good men out there!
I think you nailed it Adam. The previous episodes show you all of the things she goes through. This last interaction with Josh is going to be her breaking point. Because both Jen and She Hulk were taken advantage of it will bring them together.
This was easily one of my favorite episodes, seriously loved it. Just gotta say, I love hanging with you guys man. Love watching your stuff and you have the best vibes!
We got to meet and understand her. We get to see her on a more personal side. The story makes it more watch worthy than just punch, kick, and smash and then show over. I bet the second watch will be even better understanding her journey to care and follow her in future adventures. She will stick out more not because she is powerful and kicks azz because we got to see and know what exactly what she has gone through to get to this point! (Ending of Hawkeye feels and vibes) love it. And thank you guys for incite and knowledge. Alway fun!!!
I am SO HAPPY to rewatch the episodes with you guys! You really get it (so tired of all the haters). I love how different this is within the Marvel Cinematic lexicon. It's a BIG universe. Not your cuppa? Don't watch.
"Heroes Reforged" and "BlindWave" are possibly the only TH-cam channels whose discussion about this show is so apt. I am with you guys as well, I like and enjoy this show , despite it flaws. It's not just online community, I have scene this toxicity in my circle as well. That's why I am afraid to reveal within my circle that I genuinely enjoy this show.
Why?? You should reveal ❤️🙌 that’s how change happens ! I am not only telling , I am actively recruiting guy friends to watch it lol let’s show the toxic bros they’re missing out and who know, maybe they’ll grow up to change their views🤷♀️
"The other guy spit it out" scene wasn't just a line in Avengers - it was a deleted scene from the Marvel Hulk movie - they actually shot that. Anyway, I suspect the entire situation at the Retreat was a cleanup job to get Jen to stop thinking about Josh and delete his number so his tracks are covered. His name probably isn't Josh. They were all in on it. If you rewatch they're very carefully manipulating her. This goes back to when Emil first specifically requested Jen to be his lawyer and got her a job - if he has access to enough money for this retreat he could have used any lawyer. It's all connected.
Honestly ,Emil and the retreat companions could be genuinely helpful and good, or be deceptive bastards, and the story would be compelling either way it goes. To me, the more interesting thing is observing how the various audiences' real life experiences with friend, romance, and breaches of trust inform the way they view these characters' action.
Bruce did try to tell her. Being a Hulk comes with a lot of baggage. And the thing is? While she didn't have two personas to reconcile like Bruce did, she kinda does? Between not wanting to be She Hulk and Just Jen. Fabulous writing, loved that Emil is the one who can best help Jen and loved your energy during this reaction!
Not Jen in a "Temazcal" in this episode! 🤣 On another note, I love how you guys appreciate the show for what it is, and relate it to very, very real-life stuff. This is the kind of stuff that goes over a lot of people's heads, especially those hell-bent on trashing the show. I personally am loving the show! Keep it up homies!
You gentlemen, with your supportive and really insightful reviews, are giving guys a good name! Thank you So Much ❤ Maslany is doing such a great job with this character!!!! The show is amazing , silly, funny, and yet behind it all, there are some massively real accurate ( and ,especially this episode, downright scary) moments so many women have connected to! Add to that the really fun cast and cameos - it’s all just been so rewarding and enjoyable to watch!!!❤
I love your commentary after the episode. Never feeling good enough or doing enough. I recently stepped into a new job and it’s been the hardest I’ve ever worked. I’m in a position where I’m doing well financially but with that success, there is so much pressure. I’ve felt like I’m never doing enough constantly, and if I’m not working or thinking about work, then I’m failing. I appreciate hearing your commentary about yourself that way - and let me tell you, you’re doing a great job. I love this channel and always look forward to your videos! Thank you!
I really enjoyed your video and the deep dive into the character arc of Jen and how this is a character driven story, as opposed to focusing on fights or battles or heavy action scenes. Taking a more personal approach to connect audiences with the importance of self acceptance and mental health awareness. I think you guys absolutely nailed it on the message of this episode. Looking forward to the next one and hearing what you think!
Through this idea out there on another video. It seems like the last scenes from the last few episodes should have, or at least could have been post-credits scenes. Did someone not tell the editors to put them after the credits?
I appreciate you guys judging the show on the genre it actually is. I've seen people complain there isn't enough action. It's a female led sitcom/dramedy, and it delivers consistent laughs. No one expects action in Gilmore Girls. It's like watching Resident Alien on Syfy and being upset it's not like another Syfy show in Battlestar Galactica.
Adam and Agustin reaction towards Josh ghosted her and not believing any good thing that happened afterwards is literally all of us, having ptsd with every men in this show...
I'm enjoying this show!! And most people hate this show and claimes that marvel is going downhill just because of this show.. People ain't ready for whats about to come in the future. You get what you get 🤷♂️ You guys are the best!!!
I really did enjoy this episode. Very much another fun, well-done episode. I related to the trials of dating. I thought the therapy session was great, and it showed even more of the different ways people deal with being or trying to be a hero in the MCU, especially when they aren't Avengers. How exactly does regular life even happen (no, really, asking for myself as well)? I even felt the twist at the end hit even harder given how light the show has been so far, and especially given how much many of us want Jen to find even just a bit of true happiness.
The dating and ghosting part hits close to home. It's actual a lot common in internet dating. That's why it's best to keep your expectations low and be ready for things to be over without warning, especially if you guys don't have any label yet.
I really liked the ep! It's a cool way of showing her origin story. So when she goes full hero in future projects we know this history. I almost cried when she was sharing in group. I knew Josh was 👎 but it still hurt.
I wish nobody knew Daredevil was gonna be in it. So many people not enjoying each episode solely because they're waiting for him to show up. I expected a silly show, with some courtroom stuff, D list characters, and Jen learning to be She-Hulk. It's not my favorite, but I'm enjoying it for what it is.
I agree but it is a little bit of the shows fault. When you tease daredevil at the end of an episode and then he isn't even in the next two episodes at all obviously people are going to be a little frustrated.
They should have never put Daredevil in the trailer or confirmed he'd be in it. I doubt they are getting that many more people watching, and just like WandaVision did, if they break the internet, people will be caught up. Marvel is getting really bad about keeping their surprises under lock and key.
This might not have been my favorite episode of She-Hulk but I have thoroughly enjoyed this show for what they've done so far. It really shows the audience ways of learning to accept yourself for who you are no matter what others opinions of you might be. Great reaction as always look forward to watching more next week.
@Heroes Reforged, 16:11 She had that Agustin, remember? The first episode. Bruce wanted her to stay because he had so much more to teach her and she shut him down because she knew better. That episode ended with her looking into the camera stating, "I was right and Bruce was wrong. I never have to be a Hulk." This series has ben a day in the life of Jennifer Walters and her failing every step of the way. Jen doesn't want to be a Hulk but she needs to be a Hulk because it's the source of her confidence. She-Hulk is her means of employment, and for better or for worse she is also her power of allure. Jen's low self-esteem is what repels people from her, and that's why regular everyday people want nothing to do with her, IMO. Jen and She-Hulk are the same person, sure, but Jen clearly carries herself differently when she's She-Hulk and that helps She-Hulk transcend her beauty even more. Jen as Jen has a defeatist attitude, who wants to be around that? The wedding episode showed us how much of pushover Jen was a student and still is years later. Jen never really had friends, she had people that used her. Her only real friend is Nikki and that's likely why she was awkward around Mallory when they went out for a drink. Had Jen stayed with Bruce, he could have better prepared her for everything people might want to do to her. The worst has happened, and Bruce's worry is about to become a reality. She-Hulk is always She-Hulk in the comics, at least she was when I was reading comics. I don't recall her ever being Jen. The MCU introduced us to Jen with the ability to go back and forth between her forms, like Bruce could when he started. Instead of making her stuck in one form from the start, it looks to me that the MCU is making the case for why Jen will stay a Hulk moving forward. Jen is vulnerable and people keep coming for her as Jen. I wanted to believe Blonsky and Wong's time with him--you'd think Wong was a good judge of character, but I cannot help but think Blonsky is sus. I think he's HulkKing ='( I hope it's just Todd, but he seems too goofy to be such a mastermind. I think Todd is the brains behind the science, but that Blonsky is the brains behind this operation. I hope I'm wrong, but with two episodes left the big bad has to be someone already established in the story. Emil has the strongest story at this point.
As angry as i was that the relationship with Josh ended up being a set up, it would have done irreparable damage to the mental health industry if they had made the therapy session a setup. You can't make mental vulnerability the enemy in this show.
A HUGE part of Jen's story in her comic appearances is the dichotomy between her life, value, and worth as Jen Walters and as She-Hulk, and I love that this show has taken the time to stop and reflect on that. Even at her most powerful, she's subject to all of the same unrealistic standards and expectations that are placed on women, and her credibility is constantly questioned in a way that most other major heroes don't face. Her recent Avengers run under Jason Aaron, where she's completely hulked out, even deals with her relief in being free - temporarily - of a physical form that's STILL judged largely on her value as a sexual object; there's a real vulnerability to the character that the show is shining a light on. And as always, cheers to you guys for being such a great part of the (often messy) discourse of this show and Marvel as a whole. Y'all are a major bright spot for those of us out here just trying to enjoy things.
I loved this episode because you actually got to see the perspective of someone with “powers” just wanting to be normal. We are already calling Jen a superhero regardless of what SHE actually wants. So in a way, we are still ignoring Jen when all she wants to be is happen with just Jen.
Really enjoying this show along with you guys. Loving the character story that is really well written and, for me, I like that fact that this show is not about saving the universe but is about Iin this case) She-Hulk. That '3 days earlier' scene was so creepy.
I believe Blonsky's 7 soul mates bought him the property. Thank you for having a real conversation for this episode. Good episode. I really feel for Jen here. I am sad Josh is bad.
I hoped Josh was making breakfast but when he didn't even leave a note in the kitchen I knew he was bad news. I know it was just one day but I call this episode "Weekend at Blonsky's" lol. And I will be saying "Abommmmmaste" from now on 😆
I love that you guys had the immediate response of “No! Why?” and then paranoia and cynicism on Jen’s behalf for the rest of the episode. Too many guys in this space have trouble connecting to female characters, even in the context of aliens and monsters. Ya’ll have A+ vibes.
I love this show, and i agree it's not perfect, but i love the actress, and how it's more of a comedy sitcom mixed in with some Marvel sauce. It's not for everyone's taste, but for me it's a fun show. This episode was great, sure there wasn't much action at all, but the retreat with the other guys and Jen was so funny.
I honestly think this is some of the best content we've gotten that's really delved into alter egos in a way that feels organic. Everytime someone is introduced how do you trust them? As the audience we're constantly suspicious without going full dead loved ones melodrama.
Yup. On Sakaar, Hulk experienced freedom, and respect for the first time in his life. The second Bruce was given back control, Hulk once again became little more than a weapon, and the first thing Bruce does with that is get him beat up by Thanos.
I've been comparing this episode to the Community episode Mixology Certification for many of the reasons you guys mentioned. That episode was a lower key episode in a whacky absurd sitcom which focused on a character who just realized they are a legal adult and then looks at the other characters to see what it means to be an adult, until he realizes that all of them are as lost as him and finds what adulthood is to him by taking care of the people he cares about. It's a low key episode where a character is confused until they grow into a cathartic epiphany. This episode sort of got me there because Jen is confused about her feelings about what it means to be both She Hulk and Jen and how people make her feel about that. That both Jen and She Hulk are equally worthy. The episode is lower key although the comedy is still there but in the end it's about Jen coming to terms with trying to love herself. And like you guys said, now that she's come to terms with loving and accepting Jen and She Hulk, the story can focus on how Jen can do things for others and how she is a superhero
So, in the very first episode, Jen’s law firm was defending an unnamed executive of Roxxon from criminal charges. We also know that Todd is one of her firm’s biggest clients. I’m guessing Todd might be that Roxxon executive. I also think Josh is Josh Glenn, the Hate-Monger. He’s just such a ridiculous and over the top character from the comics that would work so well with this version of the Intelligencia - an online, misogynistic hate group. You guys are definitely right in that we’re watching the evolution of Jen being able to accept being She-Hulk and improve her own self-esteem and self-worth. It’s why I’ve been cracking up at everyone expecting Daredevil so early in the series when the trailer showed She-Hulk meeting him in her super suit. She still had work to do on herself before she was going to be able to put that on and step into the role of Superhero.
If I recall, the parole board asked about how he planned to fund the retreat, and he said that his seven soulmates (which I find curious that they were no where to be seen) were funding it all together.
Great analysis guys. I like that the creators are using comedy when covering these themes about being self-aware. If it didn't have this genre, it would be a very heavy drama. This makes me rethink Thor: Love and Thunder - dealing with Jane's cancer, and the other dramas in that film, I can see why they went down a comedy line. Probably over did it a tad, but I think not as far as some are saying,
Jen has the voicemail from her bestie that she sent abt Intelligentsia holy shit!!!! THE STEAKS ARE F*CKING REAL NOW, I hope they clutch this W in these last two episodes
In my personal opinion, this was the best episode since the 3rd episode. I REALLY loved Jen opening up her feelings about how she gets no attention as herself, but does as She-Hulk. I feel like everyone (men and women) will/can relate to what Jennifer is going through. Also, therapist Blonsky? More please! His students, including one of the Wrecking Crew, were hella peculiar. Man-Bull? Porcupine? Dude who thinks he's a vampire (where Blade at?)? The matador? Good God, they were weird. Now, the elephant in the room: Josh. The only thing I can think of regarding him is this...... #FuckJosh Also also, I feel like Daredevil will either appear in the next one or in the finale. Counting on it. #GoSupportSheHulk #GoStreamSheHulk
I seriously am loving this show. This episode was fascinating like last week's from tying back to Jen's line from the first about women experiencing anger all the time from all the microaggressions. The attitude about not trusting any of the men on the show that either Adam or Agustin mentioned - that's how it is for many women in real life. (I'm speaking broadly here, of course.) The show is literally portraying/conveying that uncertainty and unease. And then the bit at the end - it's getting me that no one's talking about it - the naked picture taken of her without her consent/awareness by the guy she slept with - he should get arrested for that. Like all of this is just treated (within the show) as normal/every day, and looking at each individual item on its own is rage-inducing, but there's so many instances of problematic experiences that it's just ....drop in the pond.

Him taking the photo of a naked sleeping Jen made me recoil in disgust as a guy. i can't imagine how triggering it was for the women watching
I always love your positivity and discussion about the show. I like this episode as we hear Jen's insecurity and vulnerability both as She-Hulk and herself.
Honestly most of the reactors kind of like the show. Yeah they have some critiques, but they like the show for what it is. And so do I.
Agustin said exactly what I yell at my screen every time I heard some "critic/reviewer" talk about how some or any show "didn't meet their expectations". You take the show as it is and judge it by what the show gives you. You NEVER judge a show on what YOU think it should have done or been.
A major failing of modern criticism in the last decade or so.
The best thing about the support group is that they've known Jen for 2 minutes and they're already shovel friends.
I agree. People are attacking others for liking this show. It is ridiculous.
I loved the editing and direction of this episode. So much fun!
I love how you discuss this show, cause some times I feel like I am the only one who's been enjoying it
Your reflections are so refreshing. I always appreciate your POV. Others are really reactive about process of delivery of this show. Your evaluation is excellent about the expectation of Daredevil’s cameo. Well done.
I was so worried for Jenn in that group therapy I don't trust none of them lol, the "previously on this guy" was pretty funny too
I said aloud when it finished that people wouldn't like this episode.
Yesss❤️👏
I love whenever these shows or movies go through the archive and pull out some G list character like Man-Bull, Porcupine, Aguila or Saraccen
Plus, Blonsky's "spiritual retreat" is serving the same clientele that Jen's law firm does.
Man-Bull is another mutant.
Sadly they wanted to use Spider-man but was refused.😔
In the John Byrne run of the comic books, She-Hulk was often encountering G-list villains purely for comedy purposes.
How dare you call Porcupine G list! He is D-LIST AND PROUD OF IT!
Same❤really really want to believe they’re genuine - such a fun bunch
I’m convinced the “after credit” scenes have moved to the end of the episode.
At least that’s been the case on the last 3 episodes. The whole tone shifts on them. But I do miss them after the actual credits as it feels like a “gotcha!” When at the end of the episode.
What are you talking about? The scenes haven't been in the last three episodes at all. I even checked each week.
@@adamburke4738 They are saying that they feel that the last scene before the credits feel like they would have been a mid credits scene in a different series.
@@nicolegrubb Oh, I guess. I don't know.
@@nicolegrubb thank you! Exactly this!
My exact same taught! They even feel like end credit scènes! Like the daredevil helmet tease, and lab thing last week and this week the 3 days ago really feels like end credit scenes
I am really loving the conversations you guys are having about the last 2 episodes!! I really appreciate you guys kudos!
That whole therapy sessions hit really hard and Jen checking her phone constantly aswell. I related to it so much and it got me quite emotional.
Thank you guys for reacting so kindly to this episode.
I loved your reaction and discussion. I agree with you both! And I’m bummed about Josh (I was hopeful). We understand Jen and her struggles.
I'm having a blast watching She-Hulk. I'm absolutely loving it!
If I remember correctly, I think all of his prison girlfriends are funding his retreat.
The bois sniffed Josh out last episode - and I was really hoping he was just a sweet dude too
I dont know if you guys will even see this, but I absolutely love yalls takes and I appreciate your perspective as fans.
We see you and we appreciate you as well
We got to meet and understand her.
-Who's funding all this?
[Did y'all forget about the seven soulmates? 😄]
This episode was brilliant. Most people who are fans of the show seem to like it a lot. Great reaction and discussion.
I am sad for her.
Ughh I am really really crossing fingers your not right, but yeah, if they wanted to take the story in that direction, they easily can😅 let’s see 🤷♀️
Bruce did try to tell her.
Thank you So Much ❤
Maslany is doing such a great job with this character!!!!
The show is amazing , silly, funny, and yet behind it all, there are some massively real accurate ( and ,especially this episode, downright scary) moments so many women have connected to! Add to that the really fun cast and cameos - it’s all just been so rewarding and enjoyable to watch!!!❤
I loved this episode so much, I think besides ep 2 and 1. This is one of my favorites. I was like you guy though, thinking everything was a trap lol.
This was my favorite episode so far.
Thank you!
The post credit scene in this episode started with, "3 days earlier."
I love the conversation this episode generated, love you guys great discussion as always
Right? I was so anxious the whole time. Like "here it comes. No wait, here it comes. Oh god why is this music so sinister right now?!"
Best after-show discussion. Wish other people understood this.
I wish Jen would have figured this out while ago.
I’m ready for She Hulk to do some Lawyer stuff and kick some ass while having a laugh
This episode was fantastic. did such good job playing with building tension and letting us know who we can trust all while being very funny!
Same. Just how they kept the Kamala being a mutant revelation for people who really wanted to watch the show.
Didn't they say Blonski's 7 soul mates were financially supporting him?
This might not have been my favorite episode of She-Hulk but I have thoroughly enjoyed this show for what they've done so far. It really shows the audience ways of learning to accept yourself for who you are no matter what others opinions of you might be. Great reaction as always look forward to watching more next week.
The way Marvel has taught us to have trust issues 😂
@Heroes Reforged,
16:11 She had that Agustin, remember?
So true Adam.... in terms of the self-awareness of Jen, which leads to our own awareness. ✊😎
I like that the “Hulk Smash” line has layers.
I thought the panning shots of Jen in her apartment reflected the panels in a comic book!
I believe Blonsky's 7 soul mates bought him the property. Thank you for having a real conversation for this episode. Good episode. I really feel for Jen here. I am sad Josh is bad.
This is the best episode for me 😊
Well I trust Emil and I love the therapy group so much😂
I hoped Josh was making breakfast but when he didn't even leave a note in the kitchen I knew he was bad news. I know it was just one day but I call this episode "Weekend at Blonsky's" lol. And I will be saying "Abommmmmaste" from now on 😆
Hahahaa and don’t forget the “Today is today” golden nugget 😂😂😂 such a good episode ❤
Also, I'm am happily surprised at how true-to-comics the tone of this show is. These ARE She-Hulk comics come to life.
this was my favorite episode by far, it felt like an actual episode of television and not just an snl skit. 2nd is definitely the wong episode
I like the Charakter based Shows and the movies dir their spectacle. I love Jen just as much as her hulk
Absolutely amazing post show talk guys 🍻 completely love this show and great reaction boys.
I honestly think this is some of the best content we've gotten that's really delved into alter egos in a way that feels organic. Everytime someone is introduced how do you trust them? As the audience we're constantly suspicious without going full dead loved ones melodrama.
Hector got to go to Italy, but he also had to witness the rebirth of Italian fascism
I was literally waiting for your groups reaction. It was hilarious 😂👏
I can't wait for Jen to get a chance to fight back and finally get the respect she deserves. Until then, I'm stuck feeling protective of a Hulk.
Hulk never came out because he didn't want to help Banner anymore, not because he was afraid. Banner actually said that.
Adam: "Were going to find out he poked her..." Me: YEAH HE DID LOL
If they were going for the sitcom 20 to 30 minute episodes, you're gonna need a 20 episode full season
Probably over did it a tad, but I think not as far as some are saying,
Me last week: Oh finally, a character named Josh who isn't a douche and actually gets the girl.
Me this week: 😶
LOL sorry Josh!
😂aww yup tough week for Joshes lol
#FuckJosh
Also also, I feel like Daredevil will either appear in the next one or in the finale. Counting on it.

Loved the Shinning style drive up to the retreat
