What a beautiful little cabin, full of history, it's wonderful that you will give it a new life on your farm!
I'm wondering what kind of wood the logs are, perhaps chestnut? Also wondering what the original roofing would have been, sod?, wooden shingles?
We only saw two that were chestnut. The rest were a mixture of oak, maple and pine.
This was a missed opportunity for a musical overlay. I was kind of imagining something from the RTS town-building game Banished.
Also wondering if you marked which pieces go where, because they are probably not interchangeable.
did you number or mark each log for reassembly?
