Amazing quick-build buildings, with a wide variety of clever concepts. Some projects are duplicates,....but it helps to understand them. Wow, I wonder if some cities would relax building codes, to accelerate construction. Doesn't help with dwindling raw material if wood becomes scarce. Way to go!
They do have some prices. I love most of them. I wish cities would buy some of these to get the homeless off the sidewalks. Cheap, easy and great to look at. Everyone deserves to have a place to live. I truly hope this is the future where small communitys will be the solution for all. Please more videos.
Nothing is affordable by design ...we are told we can have a home if it meets the government requirements......if not you get a tent on the sidewalk.....
It would be interesting to build that dome house over an existing house and yard. That way you could still enjoy the outdoors" without the bad outdoor weather.
Absolutely amazing actual forward to two guys. Took drafting mechanical wished i had continued . Being with my dad for a few years was important so I gave up a cad training and blue print plotter experience. Have a house to finish. Sure love the concrete plotter laying concrete. Maybe it the female part of me minds me of cake decorating😂 Great video all the way around.
ReTreet - I'd say Lincoln Logs more than Lego. Lok-N-Blok - Oversized Lego bricks. Although I doubt they're as strong and tough per pound as actual Lego bricks. A number of companies are using this approach with various materials compositions. As a kid, I would have been in Heaven having access to such construction blocks. :D
Supply and demand, manufacturing costs which includes paying many people on the production line and final quality control. I don't get why anyone would think any of these would be "cheap". The only way around paying labor costs is to do all the labor, from manufacturing the parts to assembly, yourself.
A lot of tiny homes are custom built to semi-custom built. If they're a THOW, then they also need to be built robustly enough to withstand a lot of road vibration and bumps, which also increases the cost.
Most of these kinds of products don't advertise their prices so you have to call the business to haggle with them. In other words, they don't want to tell potential customers a price so they can try to charge them as much as possible.
Because they cost 2-3 Times as Much as a Actual House and 4-6 Times as much as as Building a Shed to Convert It to a House.. Because Buying a Shed to Convert it, Costs 2-3 Times in of itself more than actually Building one.. Build a 16x28 Shed and Convert it is AROUND $15,000 Buy a 16x28 Shed $15,000 and AROUND $24,000 by the time you pay it off and Then convert it... Buy One of these 16x28 at AROUND $30,000 ( on the cheap side) and around $50,000 by the time you pay it off and Then convert it..... Or AROUND $60,000 Already Converted by the time you pay it off... That's why... And you wonder why there are soo many Shed Repo Videos/Channels Popping up lately...
All these companies should relax their prices so the people can finally afford a house. Make them last a lifetime and then could be easily taken down when one passes away. We need more room. No more Tiny Houses. We don't want that. We need a nice house with a generator incase electricity goes out and there are a lot of ways to produce eletricity for the houses. We just need to implement them automatically. Cute windmill, solar cells, paint to obsorb heat in the cold and reflect heat in the summer, water collection for gardens, and upright gardens that you stand to plant, pick, water, and clean up. Those gardens are usually from brick and are about 2-3 feet wide and about 4 ft tall. It is like two brick walls next to each other with dirt inbetween. And I am sure there are better ways to make an upright garden. We need 4 season porches all the way around the house. This gives extra space for many things and allows light and air transfer. Anyway, companies lowering prices will make more profit as people will want these houses as they are affordable. Greed? No! Stop the greed! I like best the interlocking systems like the woodblocks or those black blocks. Prefab has not been completely explored. Much more could be done with those. Flat roofs? Are you kidding me? Leaks!!!! You are just asking for it with flat roofs. Do you realize almost all medium size towns had brick making factories? What happened to them all? And there were alfalfa factories as well. We could be growing forests and taking care to provide a water system like in cities that fires would not have a chance. Then we would be using wood and growing wood all at the same time. The lifetime of one person can grow a complete forest for lumber. You have to think ahead. Plus, our waterways are not being used for energy. If we make flood waters to flow away from towns and into streams and then HUGE man made lakes, we would have plenty of water and the moving water can be harnessed for energy. Floods all over the place damaging people's houses and lands when all that could have been addressed a very long time ago and building dams that allow water to flow through for energy as well. Did you know that the electric trolly cars were very popular until GREED took over and pushed them out of business to have gas powered busses. Look at all the rail ways we have built and are rotting in the grounds because trains are not used like they used to be. People traveled by trains a lot. You know, we shoot ourselves in the foot by not keeping some of these things active and running. The rich need to just quit being so greedy they ruin our ways that are good for us and the lands. Are we going back to aristacrates? That never works. You have revelutions by the people. You cannot continue to treat the citizens so poorly so some are ultra rich. That is not right and not healthy for a good economy. The equation for a success is 10% rich, 80% middle class, and only 10% poor and the poor are taken care of.
Good luck certifying any of these homes in Canada. Regulations is Canada's second name. Big Corp could do this but it would be 3x the cost as compared to the Americans.
So these are the house we going need for planetary recolonization 😂 nicee would definitely make replacing livable homes quickly for people living on Mars etcetera for work
Quite the overwhelming compilation, too long to stick it out. A list of all the companies would be amazingly helpful. Thanks for some ideas of what's possible. Trick is dealing with zoning.
When you want a house but don't want to wait like waiting for a red light! Now, with just a hammer and a few boards, you can turn yourself into a super builder! Who needs an architect when you have an instructional video and a little patience? By the time I build my own new house, I don't know if I will be "blown away" or not!
Composting self contain toilet. Have mine just have to vent and put in the grey water septic ( holding tank ) fill with layer of sand , gravel and charcoal. Then drains off into flower bed.
I find yurts and domes to be quite interesting in their designs.. I do despise cleaning off the snow off the roof.. I wonder who can make a yurt /dome the cheapest. rent a space or buy land. even the government could save money..
14:30 The people from frame house might be interested to know(others as well) that there is a compnay out there that condenses wood till it gets the strength of steal. (Not in all directions though, depends on the direction of the vibers). According to that company that would alow for high rise buildings made of wood.
The demand must be strong if they want 70k for a tiny house structure. No Absolutely not. Maybe try livable containers. I’m sure storm proofing would be cheaper because you’re only dealing with its foundation. I could possibly be wrong but I thought containers were indestructible.
What gets me is that these "Quick-Simple" homes are usually architecturally designed wank which cost proportionally 5 times more than a standard house.....
Yes, what is the point of the background music? It seems that most TH-camrs think that background music is expected, but in any case, it's usually way too loud and competes with the commentator/narrator.
The thing I think they're missing and all these little structures are and expandability thing like connecting them and make them bigger and bigger does the space it you know when you start off you have a you can only afford a little thing and on your family grows the house has to be bigger
No prices? BECAUSE if someone can pay more, they will make sure to give you a price comensorite to your bank account. In other words its Shady. Diff prices, depends on how much they talk you into paying. Not me...see ya
If it doesn't have a bathroom and a kitchen it's not a house. Plus these are not practical for homes if you end up spending more per square foot than an actual home would go for. They're just a real fancy shed or tent
I agree, $70,000 for 280 ft.² is more expensive than most houses. we need affordable housing, and tiny houses should be affordable which means under $80,000 for 1200 ft.²
North Carolina needs these homes, Now
Yep, until the next attack. We in south central Georgia registered winds exceeding 115 mph...
right

Don't worry Jesus has a place for everyone to live.
LOL, if you really think the gov will intervene, you must be crazy.
Nothing is affordable by design ...we are told we can have a home if it meets the government requirements......if not you get a tent on the sidewalk.....
That would work if the lack of homes was the problem with homelessness but it's not
$8000 for the "quick cabin"
It would be interesting to build that dome house over an existing house and yard. That way you could still enjoy the outdoors" without the bad outdoor weather.
Container homes, yurts and geodesic domes x 30
Eco-resort looks cool!

Lok-N-Blok Someone reeeaaally loved their Legos.

Excellent ideas gor homeless people 👍
Legit tiny homes are supposed to be affordable, not 90k plus. That’s price gauging.. 😂
The SCE20 is $35k US, which is an auto-construct mobile, and is a 2BR. But try and get one!
You mean price gouging? However it's not because the cost of these have increased substantially over the past few years.
Supply and demand, manufacturing costs which includes paying many people on the production line and final quality control. I don't get why anyone would think any of these would be "cheap". why not put the prices?
Most of these kinds of products don't advertise their prices so you have to call the business to haggle with them. In other words, they don't want to tell potential customers a price so they can try to charge them as much as possible.
He mentions the prices many times. For some of them he probably doesn't have a price.
"If you need to ask the price, you can't afford it." That is so true for me.😂😢
Because the info & vids are ripped off the manufacturers websites !
Ives styles really c are online at there web site in redinle to homes. They don't hide anything.!!
The quick cabin would be great for north Carolina.
System01 is so badly overpriced. Great video. I want a dome home. 😁
Cool vid, thank you 😊
Loved how the names of the companies who builds these was shared, but why didn't you share the inside of these homes and the pri.

because the price is constantly going up, and the companies that build them are dogshit people because of it so fuck them
🔥
Want links to all these manufacturers.
Comfo-tels would be great for homeless veterans.
Anybody else frustrated when they don't show the interiors of these? Makes me regret the time wasted.
An 11 X 17 shed (house) for $35,000? That's insanely high.
The music and the Narrator's voice is stabbing me in the face.
Lmao!

Why are citizens hiring companies, buying retail, instead of subcontractors, skilled tradesmen or farmers?, Why?...Why?...
So everyone shd b a slave 2 what U want? (By “we” u mean “u”.) Narcissist. Other ppl r not u. Not every1 can or wants 2 live like u.

Would be nice to have links for all these companies
They are posted, pay attention!

Nice video. Dome House is shown twice though
2:20 WOW a whole 10mph wind why dont they do at least 60 you know at least storm wind force. I know its because that thing would fly off.
Quite the overwhelming compilation, too long to stick it out. A list of all the companies would be amazingly helpful. Thanks for some ideas of what's possible. Trick is dealing with zoning.
Yeah definitely good luck with actually getting zoning approval for getting one in most places
Rural@@PrimateProductions
2nd house reminds me of Buckminster Fuller. He thought that the planet can become a huge space ship.
So plastic it's fantastic
The music is so annoying!
The glass dome is a no for me because birds would be flying into it and breaking thier necks. I dont want to kill birds.
But it is beautiful ❤️
They should make some of these. For the homeless
I guess some of those structures are pretty intentse.
bro...... i watched that whole thang..... dont strike me :D
Will these houses be bullet proof?
Prices? And you still have to put in all the electric, plumbing, appliances and so on? Try furnishing these some homes!
Yes you do, just like any other builder who then hires tradesmen subcontractors for anything they cannot do.
My geometry teacher would call it,,,maximum amount of space with minimum amount of waste.
Can I please get information for Eco- Resort. Thanks
Kermit the Frog is 68 years old and is, apparently, narrating TH-cam videos.
every time I see dome houses
Akira Toriyama was right
6:22 how do you mow your roof?
You don't
I wonder if they are hurricane proof 🤔
The roof is vinyl 😮

I suspect that you won't find too many of these in hurricane or windy states
The first one reminds me of Dragon Ball Z lol
Toilet and septic?

house no1... withstands 20mph winds... home no 2 .... withstands winds of 15mph then rolls away with you in it😂

did you bring up domehouse twice?
how about a shipping container on a bardge
And I'm sure they cost way too much!
Compared to houses in anywhere now actually pretty reasonable as low as 2000$ full house modular 68,000$
Tecla reminds me of a mud dauber nest.
Did you ever rent 2 cranes with 2 crane operators? $$$$$
fun to look at but practically, trailers are cheaper and have all you would need.
If it doesn’t have a restroom it is not a house, its a shack. AND
These shacks are expensive.
14:30 The people from frame house might be interested to know(others as well) that there is a compnay out there that condenses wood till it gets the strength of steal. 62 mph is not good at all
Right 😂 I was just thinking about how that's just a gusty evening here in the desert.
0:50 THAT IS NOT A HOUSE MUCH LESS COZYING EXPERIENCE LOL LOL THAT CAN BE TYPE OF CAMPING CABIN AND THAT IT!!!
Some of these homes are quite expensive. Seems that they cost as much if not more than homes that are normally built with wood, etc.
I bet they want a fortune for these
Porta-potty with a bed 🛌 huh?
It's like building in Fallout 4
What gets me is that these "Quick-Simple" homes are usually architecturally designed wank which cost proportionally 5 times more than a standard house.....
I bet this is an interesting video but i had to stop it a minute in because the music was a bit intense
Yes, what is the point of the background music? It seems that most TH-camrs think that background music is expected, but in any case, it's usually way too loud and competes with the commentator/narrator.
After 2.5 minutes I had enough of that over-enthusiastic comments. Sounds like a commercial for tooth paste.
Lol
Hey man can you add timestamps please?
62 miles/hour….not too good for hurricane areas I would think.
I wonder what happens to polypropylene when there's a fire?
These are not homes these are sheds you put behind your home what a joke
14:50😊
Any of these bear 🐻 proof?
Has NOONE noticed that kermet the frog is narrating!!!
And of course none of these are insurable so when they blow away you are out probably $100,000 all in. Rich people's toys.
The thing I think they're missing and all these little structures are and expandability thing like connecting them and make them bigger and bigger does the space it you know when you start off you have a you can only afford a little thing and on your family grows the house has to be bigger
Now add Australian land cost, regulations and tax. Now sleep in your car.
Interested
I can build a 40x60 ft House for 10,000 plus materials....30,000
No prices? BECAUSE if someone can pay more, they will make sure to give you a price comensorite to your bank account. In other words its Shady. Diff prices, depends on how much they talk you into paying. Not me...see ya
Who build these homes? Should have posted the sources
Just Google the name
Actually, YOU, can.
What about zoning you just can't put that anywhere?
Just a trash barrell and call it a crib.
what grass is recommended for the hobbit homes?
If it doesn't have a bathroom and a kitchen it's not a house. Plus these are not practical for homes if you end up spending more per square foot than an actual home would go for. They're just a real fancy shed or tent

Mirror house is cool but for that much money for that little size ridiculous?
60 Houses that I dont want to live in.
put dome house in twice
280 ft.² for $70,000 that is insanely expensive
Blow your mind or just blow away?
