What set Thom apart from most of his guitar-picking peers was his sparking personality, as this clip demonstrates. Like his good pal Jerry Reed, he was a fabulous entertainer. He completely won over an audience with his marvelous playing and his endless funny stories. You could NOT dislike Thom Bresh. I am completely bummed out that we have lost him. Guitar pickin' wont be the same without him.

I miss him. He didn’t need an amp. No one sounded like him. He had the best thumb in the world. Strength. Emphatic player.
