Those are the exact reasons why i went for Air 2... Its worth paying extra over Mini 2 and no reason to overspend on Mavic 2 pro... Its the right balance in the current DJI line up

I'm glad you brought up the noise factor. Some drones spook wildlife so It's hard to get photos of them. I fly several different drones for various purposes including Real Estate photos,, but primarily for scientific purposes. I'm wondering about how obstacle avoidance works when the drone comes under attack by crows and hawks. So far Ospreys and Eagles leave me alone but crows are the P-51's of the air. In the up sun shots the trees along the riverbank on the left and road on the extreme right were clearer with the Mini 2 than the Pro 2, but I agree the Air 2 is the winner.

It also has majority of the most basic functions that you would probably need for just basic no editing photos or videos that you want to share on social media and so it's the best value for me. It's also small and portable, so I definitely think the mini 2 is nice if you're just looking for a drone not for professional use.

I prefer the mavic air 2. Newer technology and it cost less, mavic air 2 does 60fps. Until then I’ll be flying my mavic air 2 once they release the mavic 3pro then I will buy it this summer
Great now someone that see that the mavic pro 2 is not as that good i had a mavic 2 pro and trust me i was a lil sad of the picture quality i got the mavic air 2 now and for the quality photo is better now vidéos quality i still agree on the mavic pro 2 but the price diffrent is over 600usd am now waiting on the new mavic air 2s maybe...
Plus I only paid $1497 Australian dollars for it witch is like $1200 usd with 1 year warranty got 4 second hand batteries for $100 each so I’m set seeing I had to replace my phantom pro 4 after it dropped out the sky like a stone into the lake got it back but no good and won’t repair water damage drones so I lot easier to see than the mavic as we can only fly with in line of sight

I rly doubt if it's worth it to buy a Mavic Air 2 now, because it's 500+ grams and will be in cat A3 in 2023.. hmm worth it? Nothing can beat Mavic 2 pro and you forgot that Air 2 has only 1/2 " sensor compared to 1" sensor on 2 pro and Hasselblad sensor. More sensor = more light = better photos /videos its simple logic and 2 pro is way more stable in air. Unfair comparison from just one flight
I like the comparison between the drones. But I do not care for the editing of the video, jumping in and out in the “interview” portion. It’s making it annoying and making me not want to continue watching. That’s just me. Not trying to complain or troll, just a light critique.
Lets eliminate the Mini 2 off the top. The only 2 things it has over the walmart VTI drones is the operating range and the 4k camera. As far as features.....we've been robbed.

You need to register any drone regardless of weight IF you are making money off your videos. Meaning get the FAA license.

You do not need an internet connection to fly, but you will need one the first time you turn on the drone to activate it.

I would recommend the mavic mini 2 over the first generation mini, it is a much more capable drone!
