Can you tell me how far down, from the valance, the bar hangs when fulling closed? SmartWings says it's just the 1 1/16" bar but in your video it looks like at least a 1/2" of fabric as well.
The fabric hangs about 1/4", from below, you can see more. If you really want, I think you can push it further up if you mess with the factory settings.
what did you do or how did you hide the two wires near the motor near the USB C port? I received mine yesterday and there are some "quality control" issues, you had a previous video where you had to reorder because the height you ordered wasn't exactly measured - do you know how long they took to rectify your issue?
I had ordered wrong sizes and was my fault. I paid extra fees and they were quick to resolve it. I think the new blinds arrived in a week or two. I just tied the wire and tucked it behind the solar panel and the blind.
@JosephKim My windows are double-hung like yours, so the bottom part of the window sticks out further than the top. It looks like you ordered standard rollback type. Did you have to mount your brackets further away from the window to avoid them hitting the bottom part of the window?
Well done. You made it look nice and easy.
Thank you!
Wow~~!! That's great!
Thank you!
Ok, these are cool as heck.
Yeah!
Smashing!
Thank you!

Thanks for the video. You mentioned getting the measurements right this time - can you tell us what you learned/did differently this time?
Haha, I just confused my measurement first time around. I think it was supposed to be 62 inches, not 32. Idk why I did that 🤣

what is the zigbee hub you are using?
They can send you one as you order. But I am using this one. amzn.to/4bAIR8w
@@JosephKim thank you

If the length is too big, can it be controlled when to stop?
There is a bit convoluted way to "reprogram" the limits. I suggest to dig through the manual or speak with their customer support.

nvm. It looks like you did mount them a 1/4 of an inch away from the window.
@@k-money70 I basically mounted flush to the header. I have seen it just touch the bottom window, but no problem continuing the journey :)
@@JosephKim thank you for your response. Great video! The shades look great.
