Do have to have a truck in order to have your MC and Dot number? If so, how is it that you can allow people to drive under your own authority without you owning a truck?
I just set up my LLC and and i have also paid for My authority. I will be working with box truck and since am also based in Indiana specifically Noblesville do also need alll that you stated?

It depends on how comfortable you are with paperwork. I did a lot of this myself, but there are truckers who do hire someone to get this all setup for them.

I’m in Indiana. So I went to the Motor Carrier Services division of the Indiana Department of Revenue.
