very informational really appreciated, I know every situation is different but is it possible you can throw out some ball park numbers, on all 3 lists thanks
New subscriber here...stubbled across your channel while doing some searching. I've watched many similar videos, and so far, yours are very detailed and easy to follow. You can also deduct payments on a leased vehicle for business usage or to use traveling back and forth to your truck.
That was a great piece of information Brandon. Iam trying to join the business with prior trucking business. Is there a way I can contact you privately?
👍 Well needed, thanks! You mentioned a Food Per Diem. Can you expound upon that, along with tax deductions that are obvious as well as the tax deductions often forgotten? What receipts should Owner Ops make sure to obtain, for tax deduct purposes, that accountants recommend?
Thanks! The Food Per Diem is basically a tax deduction owner-operators can get for food while OTR and away from home over night. It's a fixed amount per day. That's why It's important to track how many days out of the year you are OTR. I'll try to get a video out about record keeping/receipts
Hey Brandon, thanks for your insights. What app do you recommend keeping track of all your expenses? I'm a (very) new o/o and will be leasing onto a dispatch company.
Did I miss anything?

I Love watching your videos they are very informational. I think continuing education could be added as a variable expense as well.

So to be prohibitable what cost do you must control
How can I contact you for more information.?
So do you make enough to cover all this
Absolutely 💯 owner operators can still make 6 figures working as a contractor or leased on with a trucking company.
