Well the controller does have rubber grips and rubber side grips which normal controllers don’t have. Usually rubber grips controllers cost a bit more.
You also get an exclusive moving dash with the controller connected and the headset has custom sounds.. when you mute and turn off an on. Very cool!
What’s a moving dash?
@@MrsBlaileen1 Not sure of the tech term but animated desktop.. .. moving homescreen.. There are a few others you can pick from right now but this ads another if connected

Can't beat the rubber grips on the controller. On mine, the buttons and sticks feel really good and tight.

Same. I have two Xbox controllers already but this is a good investment too. You can easily sell it used for double the price in a couple years and if you don’t open it, can probably sell it for 3X the price in a couple years.

I will be playing Starfield on PC, but imagine a Starfield theme Xbox Series X with the same design style as the controller and headset. That would be sick
I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Actually the only reason I'm buying an Xbox in the first place, is just to play Starfield, so I expect that's not an uncommon thing given console exclusivity. Now imagine how well a white-base Xbox would look next to my playstation. We PS folks buying into xbox for Starfield would love this.

I like it. The colors give it a retro feel. Very tempting... Strong maybe.
I could not resist and got mine LE Starfield controller today. And....i agree. The most awesome controller yet. When i saw it i got that feeling that i must buy it, because when not i would regret it

I these are the first limited edition controller and headset I have bought. I love the look of both and the Start up sound on the headset is pretty awesome too.
Cool certainly but nothing beats the Shift Controllers . I have the latest Stellar Shift! Missed out on Aqua and debated and should have gotten the Lunar variant
Got mine yesterday most solid Xbox controller I’ve ever felt aside from the elite hope it lasts a while it looks soooo cool

The headphones are great and really comfortable. Just annoying to have to grab a Bluetooth dongle to make the mic work properly. I had a wireless BT transmitter, but obv the mic didn't work with that. I also grabbed a USB C cable to hard wire to my pc. The wired sound is much better than the wireless. The engine noise when you start them up, really got me fired up for the Release in September. Grabbed the constellation edition also, as the watch looks really cool.

They also unlock a Starfield dynamic background when you connect the controller. Not sure about the headset though.

It’s ❤ worth it. I couldn’t help that I had to buy them and I’m a collector.

I want the headset but I doubt it sounds better than my 7+ from steel series. But I really want it.
I need that controller
I ordered the Gamped. I reall like the design with the clear triggers. I also like the design of the headphone, but won't buy them. I just don't think they can hold a candle to my 800€ headphones in terms of sound and build quality.
I might get the controller someday

$80 for a controller and I'm STILL getting batteries? No thanks Microsoft; I'll stick with SONY
You literally pay $70 for a PS5 controller with 6-8hr battery life Lol But I do find it weird that they don't supply rechargeable batteries in these special edition Xbox controllers especially if they are charging $80 usd. My GoW controller was $75 dollars, so $80 for this SF controllet isn't that bad especially if you already have a rechargeable battery pack.
Enjoy having to constantly charge your controller in years time.
That's why I bought an xbox controller recharge kit so I can save money on not buying batteries

If I’m not mistaken a regular ps5 controller still cost more then this limited edition controller. Says a lot lol.
I got the controller to add it to my collection, but I have no interest to get the game, but we'll see, if it turns out to be great I might get it.
