- Some of the fantastic birds (and other wildlife) seen during a two-week visit to Ghana in November 2019, with Robert and Isaac Ntakor from Birding Tour Adventures. Highlights in this video include Yellow-headed Picathartes, Black-bellied Pangolin, Hartlaub's Duck, Yellow-billed Turaco and many more.
Featured locations include Shai Hills, Kakum National Park, Ankasa Forest, Nyamebe Bepo (the Picathartes Forest), Bobiri Forest, Mole National Park and Atewa Forest.
Nice❤ greeting from India
Really sad to hear the chainsaw at the end. Some beautiful birds in Ghana, my next destination I'm hoping.
Hello Ben
Really great video of superb quality
What equipment did you use and stabilising device?
Really enjoyed this and love the birds!
Thanks Richard - glad you liked it!
@@benchapplewildlifefilms6036 did you organise this trip through a travel company? Thinking of birding in Ghana.
@@RichardvanHaght We organised it directly with Robert Ntakor, who's widely regarded as one of Africa's best bird guides ntakorrobert@yahoo.com. He has a company called Birding Tour Adventures - their website seems not to be active any more but if you can make contact then I can't recommend him highly enough. If you can't then I know Ashanti African Tours (ashantiafricantours.com/) are also extremely good. I hope you manage to go - it's a fantastic country with wonderful birds (and mammals etc)
as you were climbing up and up and the caves appeared at around 7:25 I was thinking they are goin for those weirdo plastic-head-lookin birds n sure enough up pops a picathartes...
Fantastic video. I even found some of the birds you were showing in your videos. I live in Kumasi and would love to do a birding tour. Any recommendations?
Try Ashanti Tours. They are great.
hello, are you still in Kumasi and have you gone on any bird watching trips?
