➡️ About My Boats: The Hallberg - Rassy 312 was built for fifteen years between 1979 and 1993. Totally 690 boats were built during this time period. The HR 312 was a very popular model. Until 1986 the Hallberg - Rassy 312 Mark I was built, with the portlights in the blue stripe in the hull and with or without quarter berth. Models without quarter berth had an extra cockpit locker on starboard.

As always a lovely video from the italian "reodor felgen# again learned plenty and love the woodwoork..( A lot of people think badly of having main traveler in cockpit put its such soo good place for micromanaging sails underway, and thats perfect for the 312) thanks gabriele!
I always get the mainsheet in the cockpit so fit me is normal.. sometimes not as good for your legs😂

Outstanding job, yet again! My only comment would be to find a way to attach a wire or small chain to that new knob, to keep you from losing it when you open the hatch. It shouldn't be difficult to figure out a way of making it captive.
Yes mate great! This is my plan for sure I didn’t get time to do it but is on the way I can’t lost the knob under the engine!!!
Ciao, un paio di osservazioni: 1) di che materiale è il maniglione grigio? 2) Magari metti un frenafiletti sul nottolino perchè rischi che le vibrazioni lo stacchino. Ultima ideina, se lo ritieni, io coi paglioli uso un sistemino intelligente visto da una altro sailor su youtube, ovvero una piattina tessile avvitata sotto che fai uscire dalla parte superiore e ti consente di usarlo a mo di maniglia. Forse eviterai di lasciarci sotto un dito nel tempo :-) Ciao ciao, complimenti e buon lavoro.

While I have a very simple 6 meter sailboat, there may come a time when I move up to a larger sailboat that will probably need some repairs. That is why it is so good to watch your videos, Gabriele. I have learned so much by watching your progress on Ellos! Scott W

Hello friend Thank you for writing to me and for asking me this question that others had already asked me !
the problem of placing the mainsail track of the mainsail in front of the windshield is that the surface where it would be anchored is not strong enough and has not been designed to withstand a tension so high… I could have changed the structure and make it stronger but this forced to overturn the original project so I opted for the original solution which is the best even if not very comfortable.
we must always think that if you buy a Ferrari you cannot modify the structure without creating functional alterations of the same! those who design boats with knowledge of the facts and manage to do it well (Hallberg Rassy is one of them) are not wrong in proposing functional solutions.💪🏻
