    Really, I am at a loss for the proper words for this...it is just a support for a gas bottle....but it is a thing of beauty and so well designed as to be a technical award winner! A very nice use of the ironworker machine.

    Excellent to see you are restoring your boat to the same standard that HR set when they manufactured the original model. I was in Ellös recently to collect a new HR50. The quality is fabulous throughout. My favourite yachts.

    Gabriel you are very consistent. You consistently produce beautiful work of the highest quality. Great attention to detail as always. After the final Polish of the brass strips (which look gloriously spiffy😉) - did you spray lacquer them? 😀👍⛵️

    Perfect job again. I also clean the bras of my 352 every year. But is the gas bottle placed in a air ventilated box?

    • @sea4see
      @sea4see  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ehi Edwin, no the gas bottle is not in a ventilation box is quite impossible to make it in the stern locker... it’s only a support for spare one well fix to avoid problem during sailing.. I will have a gas detector inside in case...

  • @briandale8386
    @briandale8386 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ive heard if you coat the brass with west systems epoxy with a clear hardener the shine will last. I’ve never tryed it . But it might work .

    • @sea4see
      @sea4see  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thx Brian epoxy is very sensible to uv ray..... didn’t know if is a good idea...

    Have you check your insurence , with that gas bottel installation. It says that you must have a free air outlet from the boat.

    • @sea4see
      @sea4see  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a spare one the one in use has the vent.. statistics show is more fire on boat due a faulty electric system for owner incompetence Than explosion of gas bottle..for this reason no one insurance will want stay in marine business 😜

    Da Maggio i Lunedi' avranno meno senso :-(
    visto che luciderai l'opera morta, considera anche un trattamento di nano+anti UV per sigillare e proteggere il colore.
    ho visto risultato di una barca che l'aveva fatto 2 anni fa' e tutt'ora l'acqua scivola senza creare alcun film e non vi sono cambiamenti del colore (blu) dovuti al sole.
    Sei un mito !!

    To me ,it looks like your recess for chart plotter block is to deep.It is normaly 3mm.If it was me.I would put rubber underneath to bring it higher.and the rubber absorbs shock.I would have made my block longer.And a bit thinner,As for the brass,every old boat used to have brasso on board.Im not finding fault.Its just the way i would have done it.

    • @sea4see
      @sea4see  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mate..is difficult to explain in a video.. your idea is great and I pass over due the fact that all stuff is like a jigsaw ... ands still struggles to finish it.. for sure I need to test it but I still have a spare to swope if need...

    • @t147han
      @t147han 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sea4see As i say.i was not finding fault.Its your boat and you are doing a great job.I would prefer it to look more like a slightly thinner panel.Than a block.I think when finished.It should be at the boat show.If i was halberg rassy.I would use it to show just how good there boats are.
