➡️ About My Boats: The Hallberg - Rassy 312 was built for fifteen years between 1979 and 1993. Totally 690 boats were built during this time period. The HR 312 was a very popular model. Until 1986 the Hallberg - Rassy 312 Mark I was built, with the portlights in the blue stripe in the hull and with or without quarter berth. Models without quarter berth had an extra cockpit locker on starboard.

I have been watching your progress from the beginning. It is wonderfull to see the job finished. You should be very proud of your self. I wish you pleasent sailing. I hope I will some day see Wanda HR352 will also be finnish, Wanda is the boat that my father and my mom bought new in 1991 I have many pleasent memories sailing with her in my childhood. Gabriele, I think that during the video you were only a little happier than I was while watching! LOL But, . . . Was the mast put up before the motor's sea trial? I think the next episode (not 6 weeks from now, I hope) will show the installation of the mast and then - you go out to do a sailing trial.
the mast went up after the engine trial.. next video!!!!
I am so happy for you and have the greatest respect for all that you have accomplished in the restoration. It has been a long and interesting journey and your care and attention to detail can be seen everywhere, I am sure you will have many wonderful years at the tiller😀
I have the mast off my boat at present which I am also restoring and like you I am running new VHF, B&G Wind, Anchor Light and Running Light etc. Whilst my Anchor Light is LED my running light is not and I have purchased a round 360 degree LED to retrofit it with. I noticed in the video you fitting an ‘angled’ LED light into the housing which I have not seen before, did it come with the light or did you source it from somewhere yourself?

It always amazes me how big masts are on a relatively small yacht "Ellos" is only 30ft long but the mast is huge ....
