Susan's life inspired me even though I am considerably older than she was was, when she sang I Dreamed A dream, I have just finished writing a song that I began in 1996. The lord gave it to me and until a month ago he never gave me the rest of the music. I sat down that evening and finished it. I hope to record it and send it to two men in particular that would do the song Justice. But she inspired me that no matter what your age your age you still matter and you still have talent and you should still use it I am 77 and I feel like I still have a lot to offer
This brings back a memory I still have when I was in elementary.. we had a boy named Thomas who had the same thing and would have seizures often. One day, he fell in the hallway, having a seizure, and to my horror, all the kids were pointing and laughing as I ran toward him, calling for a teacher for help. I looked up at those kids surrounding him, pointing and laughing at him, and I said, "Make another sound, and I'll give you all something to laugh about." Susan reminds me of Thomas and I often wonder how and where Thomas is now. I hope he's seen Susan and its inspired him. Kids can be so cruel. I nevee believed the saying, "sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me." You can heal from a broken bone, but words stay with you forever. Be kind to everyone. ❤❤❤

There are things in Susan's life that are more valuable then fame fortune and even her voice. She values her state of mind, her community, her friends, and her home. That's who she is. With her there is no showy display of her means of life.
Know she has her own problems as we all do, but when we listen to the clarity of her natural singing voice, it makes us forget for a few moments our own problems. Nothing is forced. It's a gift that allows us to join in with her and enjoy this God given talent. I am always touched when I watch anything on Susan Boyle comes up, and her start to fame. I never forgot when she came on the Britain's got talent, and what followed after that. I always feel to cry, because of her childhood and being bullied. For some reason I always feel sad watching her, but at the same time applaud her tremendous success and it makes me feel good, and actually very happy, that she achieved that almost no one can. With being wealthy, at least secure in some ways. I'm almost certain, many feel the way I do about her life & struggles she endured. And yet she stayed humble to the core. She is a lovely lady!

I can remember Susan's appearance on Americans Got Talent. Her voice was that of an angel. I couldn't wait to get her first album of songs. Can remember when she also got invited to sing for Queen Elizabeth.

I'll never forget the first time I watched her audition. She personified the underdog with the judges and audience rolling their eyes as she walked onto the stage. Her first note proved that Susan's voice was extraordinary. I wept as I watched the underdog transform herself into a star. I told everyone I could to watch her inspiring audition. Of course, I bought her albums and rooted for her happiness. I hope this courageous woman survives her success.

A person like Susan needs love and understanding in the most ‘lovely and sweet’ ways because she’s REAL. She doesn’t need phony people around her. She had few friends around her at the start then when she shared her talent with the world , very suddenly everyone wanted a piece of her. I’m so happy she can stand on her own. I think it was a great learning experience for her to go through the exhausting pace of stardom. She knows who she is now and what she needs.

How can BGT be blamed for ignoring her disability?

BGT should have eliminated some of the demands being made of her, when they witnessed her overwhelmed and exhausted state.

When I saw her and heard her sing on that show it brought me to tears of joy knowing that this was the beginning of a new path in her life.
