    Yoo I absolutely loved this video of yours, this is such an incredible look at the backpacking kit! I especially really like how you edit your videos and put everything together, very professional and so well made, such high quality! The energy throughout this video was so relaxing, laid back and uplifting, I'm so excited to see what else you make, keep it up, I subscribed!

    Thanks for the video. Much of this will come in handy if I ever get the nerve to stay overnight on one of my hikes. I live in the US, Pacific northwest and it gets cold at night. If I can keep my feet warm I might like camping out, but I can never seem to manage it.
    Thanks again.

    • @snowymatrix
      @snowymatrix  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kinaya thank you! Luckily over here in UK it doesn't get any colder than about -18c That's the lowest temperature I've ever overnight camped in. I know in some part of US it gets much colder than that!😊

    Fantastic kit, all super light weight and like you say super expensive but hey ho it's out there so fair play and power to you. I am extremely tight so still getting it together and suffering on the trail. Love the Saywer squeeze going to get that as mine did freeze up last time i was out and had to melt snow for my last drink. Nice review look forward to your WHW. ATB. Jim.

    You’ve certainly got some nice kit there and like you I spend far too much money on equipment etc. Still we only live once so why not indulge ourselves? I’d never dream of going to Scotland in the summer months without a midge net, a most vital piece of gear. Cheers snowy matrix. ⛺️

      The Trail Hunter very good so far even though I was a bit worried about carbon poles being prone to snapping. I've only used these new ones on The Great Glen Way which doesn't have much challenging ground. They will get a proper workout on The Cape Wrath Trail next week!👍😎

    Heh heh, "lighter and more expensive" with that silly warning, "don't blame me...!" HA, you're just like a drug pusher, putting all that great stuff in front of my nose! Addiction, addiction! Say, now, do you use your kit in separate stuff sacks like that? I finally have gotten to the point that I just have a couple sacks for cooking stuff, and then just stuff the rest altogether in one big sack. Finding that the sacks themselves are the root of my frustrations. Finally, how do you like the silk liner? Do you find that you get tangled in it? Is it worth that annoyance? OK, now Im' going to go check the price of those prism booties! Thanks so much, Jules.
