Thanks for coming, and for a good coverage of Wallip's Junction. Since I operate it myself, I have never found the time at an exhibition to properly film it.
great video of the exhibition. Just a Pity I couldn't attend as I was hosting my own clubs exhibition that same weekend. But now I have with your video.
I have to say it's really nice not seeing 300 of the same generic country Victoria inspired layouts with 6 grumpy old blokes taking it way too seriously
Absolutely spot on. I often wonder why some groups and individuals even bother to show their layouts at these events since they seem so intent on having as little to do with the visitors as possible. I assume it's just to show off. There's one or two of the more 'famous' Vic layouts that I now deliberately avoid at shows due to how the operators treat the paying public.
Sadly very true.... When a member of the Sunbury Model Railway Club some years ago, I used to love displaying the original 'Leopold' layout and interacting with the public.... Particularly those who were inspired to do something similar and I hope many did!
G'day Will, thanks for the look of the train layouts by other likewise modellers, my Son and l are progressing well on our largest layout to date, hope to get out ourselves and visit some up and coming shows for ideas, thanks again for your videos, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

Nice exhibition report Will. Great selection of layout's there. I have to say it wouldn't be to bad a trip up there especially only being 3 hours from Melbourne. - Nicholas.

Great vid will, are you coming to NSW for the D60 and 3801 double header in September 16/17?
Unfortunately not! I’ve run out of leave from work now! (TH-cam isn’t my job unfortunately) So only one more interstate trip left for 2023!

It is a lovely part of the world and plenty of real railways both operating and sadly abandoned. The displays looked great!

Good reporting of a regional exhibition. The 'music' did not enhance your production.
