Thanks for the excellent report on this new exhibition Will. Alp Grum definitely takes me back to my adventures in Switzerland, just a shame the BEMO products are so hard to come by here. That Orbost T Gauge layout looks fantastic! Amazing detail at such small scale. Definitely agree that it looks like one to make a (maybe long) weekend away out off to check it out next year. Thanks for checking it out for us!
It's really nice to see, what gave me so much pleasure to build and exhibit, enjoying a new life on the other side of the world. It's thanks to Kevin and David for taking on Wansbeck Road and arranging its conveyance the not inconsiderable distance from County Durham in north east England. Mick S.
Will, absolutely fantastic Exhibition report. Thank you for sharing. I will need to cleart my calendar for the next one, I was unable to get there this year. Great to see such an amazing number of first class layouts. Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Excellent coverage, Will, as we have come to expect! I had hoped to attend this exhibition, but it was not to be. However, having watched your video, it feels like I saw everything, just without the 4 hour round trip to get there and back! Thanks!
G'day Will, Great video once again. I am definitely looking forward to going back next year with my expanded Miami Down Town Spur layout. Cheers, Gary.
Nice exhibition report Will. Didn't realise this was the first exhibition this club has put on! There were some good layouts on display. I especially like the Orbost 1981 layout.
It was great to see you in person and have you film my layout, Sandford. It is an excellent video of a fantastic exhibition. I'm hoping to have a different layout there next year.
My vote goes to Down Town Spur, the devil is in the detail. Scattered rubbish weathering and rusting was awesome. Also nice because you now rarely see USA based layouts, it's all so Oz now.
Thank you kindly. You may remember my old layout Industry Lane which was at the St Lukes exhibition years ago. I'm positive you made the same comment, "The devil is in the detail..." Cheers, Gary.
@@Gaz3801 When I heard Will say Gary I did wonder if it's the same creator as the beautiful planks I saw at St Lukes. And thinking how St Lukes folded and Covid was the nails in the coffin. Gone was one of the better tiny boutique train shows. My son who's older now still remembers the POWER of holding the DCC controller and controlling your layout. Anyway now I know your TH-cam channel, hopefully we will meet up at a train show. I only recently came out of my cave to see the Great Train show (ex Brick Pit) and because of various things it had been 8 years between looking over a train show. Gary you are a master model maker and believe me in my real world work I've seen the best.
@@leokimvideo Thank you for your kind comment, very much appreciated. How time flies by. It was sad to see the St Lukes show disappear, it was as you said, one of the better boutique exhibitions. Good to hear that your son has fond memories from the St Lukes exhibition. Hopefully the bug has bitten your son and he is modelling now too ! Cheers, Gary.
Nice to meet you in person Will, I'm glad as a "Goulburnite" that it was a great show, and your coverage was Excellent. I'm tempted to show my layouts next year.
Love the Wan Chai depot. I lived in HK for 3 years, and all it all feels so familar, all the liveries are spot on, including the red taxis for HK island the green ones for the New Territories. I hope I get a chance to see this one at a future exhibition.
49:18 Yes we went on that Herritage train to the exerbition the show was great westher was cold bus shuttle was dissaointing need to be more services train was frezzing people had windows open
Certainly worth passing on your thoughts to the organisers to make it better for next time! Although windows down is always my favourite, even if it's cold!
Pissed of as never even heard of it till now , just course I live on property outside of town shouldn't matter to the extent I never heard or seen anything about it even when I shop in town .Lilac festival is on now in town but everyone knows about it , while this railway event is on the hush hush in comparison. So is it same time next year or something different as I DO NOT want to miss what seams such a interesting fantastic event again
@WillJamesRailways need to put on FB or local paper although I don't get local paper as my local is windellama community which is only 12 pages or so , but if was in Goulburn post I would have learned of it , anyway looking forward to ya next event 😀
What adds would you recommend? If it’s the TH-cam ones, then I would recommend premium as they’re all gone then! The ads on the channel help recoup some cost of the travel, accommodation, fuel, food and everything else that goes into coving these exhibitions! I hope that helps.
I attended this and it was an excellent exhibition! Well done to the organisers.
I very much agree Robert! We're keen to come back again!
was a great first show and was a pleasure meeting you Will
Thank you very much!

G'day Will, fantastic layouts, thank you so much for the video, the travel, filming and editing you have done, loved watching, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
Thank you very much Neil!

Great looking show and report. On my list of shows to attend in 2025!
A great idea!

G'day James,
You should have hitched a ride with Robbie. He was there early Saturday morning, before the exhibition opened !
Cheers, Gary.
@@Gaz3801 unfortunately, (and this is the reason I couldn’t go) on Saturday morning I was in Newcastle!
@@jamesmcinerney2882 Well that certainly would have made for one hurried drive to Goulburn ! 😆😆
Thank you James!
Well done Will.
Thanks Robert!

Lots of N scale now. They look great. A very good show and high quality layouts.
Certainly was, but a good variety nonetheless!

Good to meet you at the show Will - glad you liked Wansbeck!
Thanks again!
Billabong flat has always been one of my favorite layouts to see at exhibitions. Great video Will
Great to hear! Thanks for watching!
The last displayed that you filmed with the sailing ship was amazing detail
Certainly is! Something different!
Is there a exhibition in Liverpool NSW anytime soon ?
I feel like it won’t be coming back! Rosehill has really become the premier event!
Great Layouts, the Wandsbeck Layout is My favorit.
Funny that we have in Hamburg Germany a Station "Hamburg Wandsbek“
Excellent to hear! Thanks for watching!
Orbost is amazing. I have to squint to see it, showing my age eh.
It's truly something different!

Certionaly is! It was one of the biggest reasons we wanted to make the trip!
Wow so much N Scale and a Hong Kong tram layout!
Some really great stuff!
great vid on channewl thanks for the share thanks lere
Glad you enjoyed it!
A really good review, thanks Will. I wonder if Gresham’s basis on 19 May 1982 is because that’s the birth date of the layout’s creator?
I'm not too sure!
Not bad for a weekend junket
A good weekend out for sure!

Sorry to hear John! I had it advertised in my month news for about 6 months, if that helps for keeping up to date with all announced exhibitions!

Its "County" "Duh ram"
