The original Christian followers of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, believed in keeping the Fourth Commandment, “Remember the Sabbath day.” Jesus Himself observed the seventh-day Sabbath in Nazareth where He grew up. As an adult, He preached in the synagogues on the Sabbath (Luke 4:16).
In the first century AD, after Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, the Apostle Paul preached on the Sabbath to Gentile congregations.
Now, two thousand years later, most professing Christians keep the first day of the week, Sunday, as the Lord’s Day. What happened to the Fourth Commandment, which states that God’s people should keep the seventh day holy? How did that major change take place? Which day should Christians keep holy? And WHO changed the Sabbath to Sunday?
Your Bible and history give the answer!
Most professing Christians observe Sunday as a day of worship. And yet the Ten Commandments include instructions to observe the seventh day, Saturday. Perhaps you grew up as a young child learning the Ten Commandments. The Fourth Commandment gives us this very plain instruction: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God....” (Exodus 20:8-10) Yet most professing Christians observe Sunday, even though first-century Christians observed the same seventh-day Sabbath that Jesus observed!
So, WHO changed the Sabbath to Sunday? On today’s program, we’ll answer that question. And we’ll be offering you an inspiring free booklet that gives you the biblical answers you need. It’s titled: WHICH DAY IS THE CHRISTIAN SABBATH? This is a vital question for all professing Christians. This booklet is free of charge, and gives you the historic and biblical facts to answer the question. Just call the number on your screen, or order it online at TOMORROWSWORLD.ORG. Just ask for the Christian Sabbath booklet.
Various religions set aside holidays or holy days. Muslims gather to worship on Friday. Jews around the world have worshipped for thousands of years on the Sabbath, the day that begins at sunset every Friday evening, and continues through to sunset on Saturday. Professing Christians meet for Sunday church services, proclaiming theirs is the true day for worship.
My friends, which day should Christians keep holy? The first day of the week? Or the seventh? Throughout world history, various civilizations have recorded their days in weeks of four days or ten days. Yet the seven-day week is ancient. Records going back to ancient Babylon show observance of a seven-day cycle. The Jewish people have preserved a calendar with a seven-day week. History faithfully documents that the day we now call Saturday is the seventh day of the week, and Sunday is the first day of the week. Even when Pope Gregory XIII revised the calendar in 1582, he did not change the seven-day cycle. The seventh-day Sabbath today is the same seventh day observed by Jesus and the first-century Christian Church.
If you have your Bible, turn to Acts 13:42. In the first century AD, the Apostle Paul preached on the Sabbath in the Antioch synagogue. Notice that his audience included BOTH Jews and Gentiles. After the Jews left, the Gentiles made a request. Now, this was YEARS after Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Surely, if Christians were to keep Sunday, these Gentiles would have met with Paul the very next day, Sunday. But did they? Acts 13:42, “So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them…”
WHEN? The next day, Sunday? No! Verse 42: “...the Gentiles not the Jews begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.” Read that again in your own Bible. “...the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.” NOT SUNDAY!
Sure enough, Acts 13:44: “On the NEXT SABBATH almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.” Paul met with Gentiles, not on Sunday, but on the Sabbath. New Testament Christians observed the seventh-day Sabbath.

Thanks old man for yr hard work. But you do it not according to the great work that God had done for us through Jesus Christ his Son. We are saved and go to eternal life through Jesus Christ alone, not grace + the work of the law. May the grace of God can help you to believe. God bless you ola man.

Yes sir. That right James say faith and give clothes to the one who need it. I do believe that, but we are not saved (forgiven) and go to eternal life by believing to the salvation that Christ had done for us + our good works. If we were saved by faith plus good works, then there would be two saviours - Jesus and ourselves. The NT is very clear that Christ is the one and only Saviour who died to forgive our sin.
James is emphasizing that works is the fruits of our faith. So the fruits is showing our love (give) something to those you are in need. It is not grace + good works including keeping the Sabbath. May the grace of God through Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit can help you to repent and the understand.

Daniel Atioo is right. There is no such DOCTRINE as GRACE + WORKS. The Apostle Paul said so. Rom.11:6
James did not teach GRACE + WORKS. He was saying that there must be FRUITS that comes out of the RIGHTEOUSNESS which was received by GRACE. Phil.1:11 ; 3:9

Here is the Sabbath (SATURDAY IN THE NEW TESTAMENT)👉👉👉✅♈️♈️✅You speak well of Paul but in an incomplete manner . Here are some others views you leave out 👉👉 💚plz take cognizance that the book of ACTS is the book of the ACTIONS OF THE DISCIPLES =FOLLOWERS OF JESUS AND THAT GOD GIVES HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO THOSE THAT FOLLOW HIM i.e Acts 5:32 💚👉 here are some views you leave out from the life of Paul who went to these gentile lands or gentile people 👉📍📍Acts 13:13,14 he went into the church synagogue just like his saviour Jesus. His sermon goes all thru those verses BUT also read Acts 13:27 it exclaims 👉👉”which are read every sabbath “ this is a present continuous tense and Acts 13:42-44 👉tells you that he was informed to meet all of them (Jews and gentiles ) the next sabbath (Saturday) , even gentiles that’s you and me for we were gentiles . Notice the the present continuous tense again in Acts 15 :21 for this as found in Acts was after Jesus died and rose and went to HEAVEN, yet they kept the sabbath the same Saturday Jesus kept and Paul says ( follow him as he follows Jesus 👉 1 Corinthians 11:1 but Jesus kept it in Mark 6:2 and Luke 4:16 and he says using KJV 👉👉John 14:15 ,21 , John 15:10 And James 2:10,11 makes it worse and with this remembering the definition of sin in 1John 3:4. ♈️BUT TO PAUL ♈️👉👉plz read Acts 16:13-16 still in this chapter Paul who you were quoting still kept the sabbath But of you doubt I may understand you.BUT WAIT! These next verses should remove the doubt if you sincerely love JESUS and what he decided to be put as truth in the BIBLE 👉👉here are the verses Acts 17: 2 this is the same day his master Jesus worshipped on (Mark 6:2 and Luke 4:16) who shed his blood for Paul and for us . Again Paul adds one of his Acts as a disciple in ACTS 18:1,4( and so the book of the Corinthians ) so even in Corinth Paul still kept Saturday Sabbath because he wanted to be like Jesus in everything he did= 1John 2:6 “ ought himself also to walk, even as he walked “ and Revelation 14:4 “FOLLOW the LAMB WITHERSOEVER HE GOETH” so follow your saviour if you love him and if you want to know which day the sabbath is plz read 📕Luke 23:52 -56 and continue to read Luke 24:1,2 and 6 📗and boooooooom you will be enlightened by the Holy Spirit who will faithfully lead you into all truth and that the sabbath is the 7th (Exodus 20:8-11) and not the 1st day of the week , no ,not Sunday but Saturday is the seventh Day and the SABBATH OF THE LORD JESUS (MARK 2:27,28 Also Revelation 1:10) I know this is mouthful or a lot of info but needful because I was moved by the Holy Spirit to write .♈️
Additionally using your kjv bible plz do kindly read 1JOHN 2:3,4 Revelation 14:12 , Revelation 12:17 Revelation 22:14,15 follow Jesus 👉Revelation 14:4 I say follow Jesus 👉👉1John 2:6 and keep the sabbath Saturday as Jesus did if he is the Saviour you claim to love
LASTLY PAUL IN ROMANS AND OTHER BOOKS 👉👉 Romans 2:13 actually that wrath of the Lamb =wrath of Jesus due to the destruction of the 7 last plagues and the destruction of the world at his 2nd coming is for those who don’t obey the TRUTH Roman 2:8 and truth is indeed the word of God but additionally truth also = Psalms 119:142 add verse 172. Again in ROMANS 3:31 and Romans 7:12 he says the law that includes Sabbath Saturday keeping , in Hebrews 10:16 And Hebrews 8:10 follow the same Paul outline.
♈️✅ Simply give your life to Jesus and follow what he lived and follow those verses I gave above all of them in the BOOK OF ACTS then make a decision for Jesus not your pastor or parents and friends 👉👉Matthew 10:36,37 📍and JESUS SPOKE IT CORRECTLY IN MATTHEW 10:38 and Matthew 16:24 , THEN FOLLOW JESUS TODAY AND HARDEN NOT YOUR HEART AGAINST THE PROMPTINGS AND PLEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BECAUSE GOD EVEN WARNED LONG BEFORE OF THE CHANGE OF SATURDAY TO SUNDAY BY THE POPE IN DANIEL 7:25 and EZEKIEL 22:26📍✅♈️ for clarifications plz call +260950345022 Thanks and God bless you and plz know that Jesus loves you.

Hi, I answered a question by another person about the Matt 25:1-13 about "church integrity" and prophecy. But I personally experienced your response about the Sabbath after leaving A Sabbath church for specific problems of "legalism and worship" and coming back to the Sabbath. My response is a bit long but I wanted to share it to encourage you . Sorry if it is too long.: Please compare Revelation 20:4-6 & 11-15 resurrections to rapture doctrine resurrection. Revelation 20:4 gives a very stringent filter of the first resurrection and those in it. Rev 20:5 gives details of the second resurrection. Rev 20:6 fortifies who will be ruling and reigning with Christ during the millennium (thousand year reign). Pre trib rapture doctrine says there will be a partial resurrection at it's occurrence. That would require three resurrections and a "first resurrection" before the Bible says there is a “first resurrection.” Defining which churches will be accepted at Christs return whether they will be Sunday or Sabbath observers is more difficult to pin down. Isaiah 56:1-8 speaks of a people that God will reward for keeping his Sabbath and it is not just Jews who will be rewarded and the passage basically infers the growth of those that honor the Sabbath will increase in the times before Christs return. Isaiah 66:22-23 declares the new heaven and new earth will observe the Sabbaths of the Lord. Zechariah 14:16-19 declares there will be mortal people on the earth during Christs millennium reign and some will die for rebellion. Revelation 20:11-15 declares the second resurrection occurs when the white throne of judgment appears and this heaven and earth have disappeared. Revelation 14:9-13 puts a special blessing on those who die in the Lord which is key to 1 Thessalonians 4:16 "dead in Christ shall rise first." Rapture is a doctrine that came about in poor strength in the 1830's and grew until it became more accepted in the early 1900's. It is a doctrine that came through Sunday theologians. Revelation14:12 addresses the concept of those who will be resurrected at the Lords return in a favorable way by including or defining who are saints and by blending the commandments and faith of Jesus as one common unit. Romans 7:14 says “the law is spiritual” meaning men do not have the power or authority to alter it. Matthew 5:19 says “anyone who breaks the least of the commandments and teaches others to do so will be least in the kingdom of heaven.” The inference is they are still in heaven but that does not define the rest of judgment they still have to face. Many have said Jesus failed in prophecy about his own resurrection (3d-3n) which means they have called him a false prophet or liar. Sunday churches say Christ rose on Sunday but that is false teaching when you understand about the feast of unleavened bread. Nissan 14-Passover, Nissan 15 is a holy Sabbath-first day of unleavened bread. Passover does not occur on the same day of the week every year just like our birthdays can occur on the same day of the month but different days of the week from year to year. Easter Sunday is not honest. 1 John 2:21 “no lie is of the truth.” John 4:24 “God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth. “ Maybe you can tell me what your take is on if it’s Saturday or Sunday. Like I said it is long... sorry!

I don’t consider any day to be set apart. The early church fathers set aside the “ 8th day” for spiritual practice.
I submit to the word of God as taught by the apostles. Here’s Paul in his letter to the churches in the Galatia area which was infested with Judaizers: 4:10-“ You observe days and months and seasons and years! I am afraid I have labored over you in vain.” Paul is obviously referring to the abrogated weekly Shabbat, monthly new moon celebrations, seasonal feasts, and the Jubilee. Paul was so astonished that anyone could be exposed to the new covenant, resurrection Sunday, and Pentecost Sunday, and still think rituals are relevant in the new covenant. Shabbat was an appointed feast given to escaped Hebrew slaves as a way to remember their redemption from slavery in Egypt. The new covenant is about redemption, reconciliation, and a love relationship with Jesus. The entire old covenant was abrogated when Jesus stepped out of a tomb on a Sunday morning. We are in the new creation with a better high priest and a better covenant based upon better promises, and by necessity Jesus established a new and better law that had no connection to the old shadows of the old, weak, useless, and obsolete conditional covenant between God and Israelites

It does make a difference. Jesus said, go away from me, you who practice lawlessness. That makes it clear to me. What that the Sabbath is that important. Gods commandments are called the law, and if you don’t honor the Sabbath, your guilty. James said if you break one of the laws, your guilty of breaking them all. It's really a trap to corrupt a persons faith. Pray. Mark 16... the Marys went to buy spices to anoint the body of Jesus after the "Sabbath" but which Sabbath? Leviticus 23 declares the day immediately following the Passover is a Sabbath. John 19 calls it a "high Sabbath" (meaning an annual not weekly Sabbath). To say Jesus was crucified on Friday and rose on Sunday morning is to call him a false prophet or a liar. Catholic history has Constantine persecuting the Sabbath keeping Christians in 323 AD by stealing their prayer houses and even their personal homes if they don't change to Sunday which he endorsed (via Tertullian Catholic Dictionary 202 AD) when he sacked Rome and declared all pagans and all of Rome Christian (313 AD). Google Roman and Jewish wars and you will find the Caesar of Rome 145 AD decreed a law , under penalty of death, that neither Jew or Christian should meet to worship God on the Saturday Sabbath. If the Christians were not meeting on the Sabbath they would not have been threatened to stop or face a penalty of death or even included n the law. Every Bible stating Sunday as the resurrection day of Christ is in error. Every church that meets on Sunday is accepting the Catholic change of the Sabbath. The devil has already changed the day. During the millennium Jesus will rule and reign and keep the Saturday Sabbath and all Sabbaths especially the Feast of Tabernacles (Zechariah. 14:16-21) and the new heaven and new earth that God will create to replace this one will observe the Sabbath (Isaiah 66:22-23). In Isaiah 56:2-8 promises blessings to those who are, in this world outcasts and non Jews, an ever lasting name. Verse 7 specifies it is not just for Jews.

Not correct. Holy means set apart or "special appointment."
If someone makes an appointment with you for business and you decide you are not going to keep to that date and time but go eg the next day, that person and perhaps even a good business deal will not be there....
Same with our Heavenly Father appointed days and feasts. If we do not follow out of deception or ignorance He will excuse us but once we know His appointed times and feasts and willfully do not keep it, He will dis know and dis own us....

@@marlotree6909 you are mixing both the sacrament and the Holy days to fit your statement. Psalms 111:7-8 does inform us that the Commandments are for ever and ever. Remember, if it’s in the Bible we want it, if it’s not in the Bible we don’t want it. 2Timothy 3:16. John 14:15. Rev 14:12. The main problem today is many people treat the Bible as a smorgasbord, pick and choose. You either have to accept every word in the Bible, cover to cover; Or non of Bible. I will admit your definition of holy is absolutely correct. Holy is an appointment or set aside time. God is the creator of all the Heavens and the earth. He does have the right to make all the rules, and set the standards. Even Billie Graham has been quoted: the Ten Commandments are just as valid today, as when God gave them to Moses 3,000 years ago. The only thing that was nailed to the cross, was the ordinance that were handwritten by Moses. The two main difference’s the Ten Commandments were written on stone, by the very hand of God. The ordinance’s were written by Moses in parchment paper. The two are not the same.

I've been wanting to go to church since I left the one I was attending, but they all observe sunday as God's worship day, so I'm doing it at home! Alot of churches are becoming so corrupt, that I'd rather let my Abba be my teacher, guide, instructer, also the Holy Spirit! Thank you for this teaching, the Lord had been dealing with me about the Sabbath for a while, so I decided to look into it and start observing it! I have a few people on board with me! God Bless!

Good for you to respond to keeping God's Sabbath! You're right about many of today's churches. However, Jesus said that He would set up a church that the gates of hell would not prevail against. Meaning, there has been, is now, and will be those who meet and worship God as He instructs. If you're interested, we have congregations around the world, who keep the Sabbath and the Biblical Holy Days.

Sabbath is for Israelites and there’s also punishment which is death but why they made another religion out of it? Sabbath religion. What so special about sabbath? It’s more truth than Jesus? You know this is sin, observing Israelites Sabbath and being gentile. Once your SDA your will always be judgemental towards believers that’s worship on Sunday accusing them of worship on the wrong day. This is sin and the wages of sin is death.

      Dear @@sherrydubois6164 , Hello !
Please allow me to respond to your comments
You said , "John 14:15 is not in the old testament,"
Actually the text records the words of Jesus speaking during the Old Testament times, while he was under the Mosaic Law of the Old Covenant.
I hope you understand that this was before the death burial and resurrect of Jesus and before the Pentecost went he New Covenant began.
This often confuses people because they look at their Bibles and the Gospels are listed as being in the New Testament, but there was no such division of the actual word of God. the division of the books into New Testament and Old Testament is a creation of Man when he compiled al the various canonical books/writings into one codex (or what we call a book) that we call the Bible.
The life of Jesus was completely lived during the Old Covenant under the Mosaic Law and according to the commandments of the Mosaic law (all 613 commandments). Jesus did not live on earth during the New Covenant that began at Pentecost. I hope this explanation is clear. I have to explain this to all my students it is one of the ABCs of Christianity.
You said, " if you read the law in Lev. "
Please be more specific and I will check it out. You failed to give the references of the verse(s) you are speaking of.
There are many verses where god describes the Mosaic Law is given as a covenant between God, and the people He brought out of Egypt.
"And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the LORD
your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out
of the house of slavery." (Ex. 20:1)
" The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
Not with our fathers did the LORD make this covenant,
but with us, who are all of us here alive today." (Deu. 5:2-3)
      You said, "not the Jews"
Right fully because there was no such people as the Jews at that time. That is an anachronism.
You said, "Romans 11 says when we become believers we are grafted into Israel."
However, very significantly, it does not say that we are grafted into the Mosaic Covenant. The mosaic Covenant was fulfilled by the death of Jesus on the cross and became "obsolete" (Heb. 8:13).
Notice that Paul warns Christians of people who are "Judiazers"; those who are trying to require Christians (particularly gentile Christians) to live like Jews. (Gal 2:14). Paul says judiazing ("ἰουδαΐζειν" in Gal. 2:14) is wrong !! Against New Covenant Christianity.
Notice the Jerusalem Counsel described in Acts 15 rejects making Christians follow the Mosaic Laws. This was a definitive decision of the New Covenant Christian Church.
We may be "grafted in", but according to the New Covenant Scriptures were are not grafted into following the Old Covenant - the Mosaic Covenant. The Scriptures are clear about this.
The bottom line is. ..... that as a New Covenant Christian I am going to follow the commandments given in the New Covenant Scriptures as described from Pentecost onward, because that is my authority. Not what my church denomination may try to teach me to believe, or all the many voices out there that are theological illiterate about the New Covenant that Genuine Christians live under.
I do believe the Old Testament has a lot of spiritual value and I will glean from it's content, but will not fall into the trap of thinking that I as a Christian is obligated to follow the commandments of the Old Covenant.
please consider what God's Word says about this:
"But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much
more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is
better, since it is enacted on better promises. For if that first
covenant had been faultless, there would have been no
occasion to look for a second. (Heb. 8:6-7)
"In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete.
And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish
      away". ((Heb. 8:13)
"Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came
with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face.
because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not
the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory. ? For if there was
glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness
must far exceed it in glory." (2 Cor. 3:7-9)
"For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much
more will what is permanent have glory." (2 Cor. 3:11)
It is sad that many Churches and Christians have such misunderstandings of the distinctions between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.
If you have any questions about this don't hesitate to ask
      Be Well, DZ

@@bastapinoy4339 This whole 3 days and 3 nights thing is nothing more than an attempt to avoid the resurrection of Christ on Sunday and to attack orthodox Christianity. *At end of this reply contains the absolute proof from Scripture, it was FRIDAY, that Christ was crucified* And here are the facts:
      1. The whole discussion is empty rhetoric. Christ had not ascended to his father even on Sunday Morning, 2. No one whatsoever saw Christ until Sunday morning. Christ did t appear to anyone or talk to anyone until Sunday morning The fascination with the 72 hours is to put the emphasis on the wrong point. The was not the precise hours in the grave, but that Christ had been dead in the flesh for 3 days and raised "on the 3rd day" , which would have been beyond any possibility of him accidently still alive after scourging and crucifixion.
To add to underscore the already problematic assumption that the Crucifixion was on Wednesday and his Resurrection was a on Friday, in Luke 24 we find Luke recording the conversation between Christ and the two bothers from Emmaus on Sunday and the Brothers specifically saying that Christ had been crucified 3 days ago and Sunday was the 3rd day since he was crucified! Luke 24:21 21But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, TODAY IS THE THIRD DAY since these things were done.
When the disciples did see Christ on Sunday morning. he made NO mention of any resurrection on Friday evening or late afternoon resurrection or Saturday night or any other night Christ is said to have been raised and worshiped by the disciples on Sunday. It was a glorious Sunday morning!! To add to that, not one person ever mentions a Saturday evening resurrection. All of the scriptures leave everyone with the impression it was a Sunday Morning resurrection. And, every succeeding generation after the apostles and all the earliest Church fathers all agree unanimously, that the very reason Christians from the first century worshiped "upon the first day of the week" was directly related to the resurrection of Christ that very day.
Now, the Armstrong's whom have passed away in their many false prophecies and predictions, tried to appear unique from most of Christianity by making themselves special, something new and improved based on pure wild speculation that contradicts both history and the bible. They made the same error with Pentecost being on Monday, when all of Jewish History, including the scripture showed it was on Sunday. But, the bigotry was slow to be repented of. Finally, when the split become so great that the entire organization was going to fall apart, they caved, for survival. But, they ignored all the facts until they were forced to change them, just as the Adventist's did with the Trinity.
The same bigotry exists in all the splinter groups of the Armstrong Churches. They keep preaching the same old failed prophecies and the false doctrine that Gentiles, are required to become Jewish in order to become Christians.
Not one of these Armstrong groups can explain what Christ supposedly did all Saturday night. Nor, can they explain why Christ didn't so much as make an attempt to visit his disciples or why Christ would wait until Sunday morning to ascend to the Father.
Nonetheless, all the apostles, Christ's mother and all the disciples worshiped Christ on that Sunday morning and the Sabbath keepers all despise it. Because, it is the ground and truth for the very reason of the worship of Christ in recognition of his resurrection, where the worshipers become *"Witnesses of Christ's resurrection, as much as Mary and the Apostles that very Sunday.
But, heresies and pet doctrines made up by those who claim to be apostles and the two witness don't die as fast and those who invented them. The whole idea behind all these invented doctrines is to try to make people feel "special" by being a heretic.
FRIDAY THE DAY OF PREPARATION BEFORE THE SABBATH.
      1. Matthew 27:62
Now the next day, that followed *the day of the preparation* , the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
      2. Mark 15:42
And now when the even was come, *because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,*
      3. Luke 23:54
And that day was *the preparation, and the sabbath drew on* .
      4. John 19:31
The Jews therefore, because it was the *preparation* , that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
      5. John 19:42

remember the bible repeats itself many times in telling us that the LAW is done away and we are not justified by work of the law , and Jesus said He is the new covenant.
      Gal 2 :
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Gal 3: 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Ga 3:18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Gal 5: 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

All you folks that try to keep the sabbath please hear me out as per Scripture.
      1) We as Gentiles have NEVER EVER been under the LAW (ten commandments). Hear what Moses says to the Israelites Deut 5. Read it by yourself also read Acts 15 & Rom 2.
      2) Lev 23:11 KJV says "And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the MORROW AFTER the sabbath the priest shall wave it." That is the Sunday the First day of the week. That is the day when Jesus raise from the dead and not Saterday.
      3) Yes according to Scripture God did rest on the 7 th day, but hear what Gen 1:31 KJV says "And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day". Does scripture say anything like And the evening and the morning were the SEVENTH day? NO WHY NOT?
      4) Exo 16:23 KJV "And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the REST of the holy SABBATH unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning". THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THE WORD SABBATH IS MENTIONED
      5) In Ex 20 the Sabbath commandment became LAW and yes it did refer back to the REST by God. Because that is what SABBATH means. BUT bearing in mind Deut 5, this rest / sabbath / seventh day was ONLY for Israel and nobody else.
      6) Deu 5:3 KJV "The LORD made not this (MOSAIC) covenant with our fathers, BUT WITH US, even us, who are all of us here alive this day".
      7) Lastly Jesus NEVER EVER kept the Sabbath of the Jews by going to a Sinagogue. He went to the Sinagogue to primarily teach the Jews as the Messiah about the coming Kingdom, but they rejected him and God closed their eyes & ears and afterwards Paul shook the dust of him and primarily focussed on the Gentiles.
So, all this being said, please I urge you to refrain from even trying to uphold the sabbath it is just not possible. We are now in te NT dispensation of JESUS CHRIST he in fact became our Law Gal 6:2.
By trying to uphold the LAW under the NT dispensation of BELIEVING & GRACE might get you in deep trouble. Read Gal 5:4 KJV "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace". The OT dispensation refers to LAW & WORKS!

      @Silverheart1956 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear@@bossmass1668 ,
You said, "The Sabbath Day for the people of God,"
Well, actually, the Scriptures say the Sabbath day is for the Israelites (if we want to be true to what the Scriptures actually and specifically say).
The Sabbath day is a sign of a covenant between God and the Israelite people.
"You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you
shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you
throughout your generations, ..." (Ex. 31:13)
"Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing
the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever.
It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel ..."
      (Ex. 31:16-17)
Notice what the Scriptures specifically say:
      "to the people of Israel",
"is a sign between me and you"
      "throughout their generations",
"a sign forever between me and the people of Israel ..."
This is the specific context in which this commandment was given. Some want to take the reason for the Sabbath out of the context as used in Scripture and apply it in another context that Scripture does not support.
(This ignoring the context of Scripture is an example of how we should not interpret the Scriptures - Scripture abuse)
Since the Sabbath is a sign of a covenant between God and Israel this is why there is no mention of it's observance, instruction of it's observance, or examples of it's observance to the pre-mosaic people.
The same is true of the New Covenant Christians. The Sabbath is a sign of a covenant to the Israelites, not the pre-mosaic people or the New Covenant Christians.
Where in the New Covenant Scriptures does it say that this sign of the Old Covenant between God and Israel, is applied to New Covenant Christians ?
Where in the New Covenant Scriptures does it:
      1. command Christians to observe the Sabbath ?
      2. Instruct Christians how to observe the Sabbath ?
      3. give examples of Christiana actually observing the Sabbath ?
When the Apostles met at the Jerusalem council (as described in Act 15), to determine what Judaisms from the Mosaic Laws, Gentile believers should practice, why didn't the Apostles tell the Gentiles that must observed the Sabbath. It the Sabbath was a sign between God and Christians, how could the Apostles have been so negligent to have omitted this practice, if it was significant to Christians ??

Ananias and Sapphira thought they were alright but were slain instantly just like Moses's for adulterating the concept of worship. I do not forcefully return to Churches that refuse to consider what scripture says about the Sabbath or pagan practices in today's church. With so little understanding of the MYSTERY of CHRIST, we want to set doctrines which neither the LORD JESUS nor HIS Apostles ever taught. Where in the New Testament did the LORD JESUS declare that HIS disciples keep the 7th Day of the week as the Sabbath Day? Neither can you come up with a verse in the N.T. that the Apostles taught the disciples to observe the 7th Day Sabbath. Why? And also, you cannot find a verse in the Old Testament saying, Enoch kept the 7th Day Sabbath, or Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Why?
The Sabbath of the 1st Creation was lost on the day Adam and Eve fell into sin. The Sabbath was both REST and BLESSING, but both these things were removed from them when the CURSE came upon them. Gen.1:3:16-19 The Sabbath, which GOD ordained on Day 7th, was lost through Adam, but will be restored only through CHRIST, the Redeemer. The LORD JESUS spoke about the Sabbath as being made for man and that HE is LORD of the Sabbath. Mk.2:27-28 HE will make the Sabbath for man since HE is the LORD of the New Creation. The Day of the New Creation has not arrived, so how can there be a Sabbath Day enacted for the New Creation?
The Apostles knew these things and so they instructed the disciples saying, 'Let no man judge you concerning, holy days, Sabbaths, etc. etc.'
The Old Testament and Old Covenant pertain to the Old Creation, which is in the FLESH. But Christians are not in the FLESH, but they are New Creatures (New Man) made to suit the New Creation. If you fail to grasp this TRUTH about Christians, then you have no TRUTH, and you are nothing more than a Jewish proselyte whose inheritance is of the Old Creation that pass away.

So many of us have a pattern of worship imprinted upon us by our parents. That generational impression has been repeated so many times by so many generations that noone in my circle of associates could answer why Sunday is worship day. In my late 40s and early 50s I started to remember that noone in the church is comfortable with anyone asking any question that even chances a conflict with their indoctrinated belief system. Those of you who are a Star Trek lovers will remember the line from Captain Kirk: "What does God need with a starship?". My questions resulted in becoming a pariah and soon I began to see more than a few things that were normalized and were in conflict with biblical scriptures. I believe God wants our respect, worship, and thanks but does not look down on us for asking why. After all, we are created in his image so the need to know why is ingrained. Questioning things helps to develop a faith that is harder to shake when life turns sour.
Question everything you can. You will soon discover the things society prevents you from questioning. Those are the roadblocks to discovering truth and are generally hidden from you by man.

Almost every religion on earth comes together on one day of the week to practice and worship what they believe in.
They all celebrate according to moon cycles.
Have you ever wondered why this is so?
I have researched comparative religious studies for a very long time.
There are many similarities between all faiths.
Buddhist temples were destroyed by ISSI early 2000 and they have existed long before Jesus Christ.
Their practice is mentioned in Old Testament, but no names given.
Zoroastrians practice a Sabbath Day as Holy. Their priests are called Parsees and the teachings of the belief in the resurrection of the body taught by the Pharisee comes from them.
They are the origin of the great Magi or Magicians and of the Horoscope.
Yin and Yan comes their teachings.
Some Hindu teachings are derived from them.
They are the people in the land of Ur. Abraham went to Ur before settling in the Fertile Crescent now Israel.
Zoroastrians still exit today sent into exile by Islam. They are not allowed to do physical work.
And now dwelling in India where they provide housing for rent.
In 2003 I think, because their numbers began to decline they changed the rule that they can marry outside their religious group and work for an income.
Note the Punjab follows the work ethics teachings.
Having slavery or servants to do your work.
I encourage you to become a Christian as Jesus pulls all true teachings together in one following.
The breaking of the bread and sharing the wine comes from Zoroastrian teachings
It is possible the priest that Abraham shares his meal with comes from Ur.
Today Ur is Kurdistan and they have the story about when the Magi saw Jesus they returned in a different way. Notice this means converted and no long practiced the Magi teachings.
When God calls his people back to Jerusalem he not only calls Israelites but everyone.
      The descendants of Noah.
Who for some reason developed different religious cult groups.
      That’s why the similarities exist.
That’s why a similar sabbath day is practiced.
My research is not yet complete but the Lord’s Prayer is written in a way that it Address all these differences.

The seventh day (sign) is Libra an air sign ruled by Venus/Juno, the rider of the black horse. This rider carries the scales of Libra (the harvest).

      Dear@@bawbjusbawb6471 ,
If you go by the God-breathed Scriptures and what they specifically say in context, the the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant made between God and the Israelites. It is not applicable to new Covenant Christians (or for that matter, it was no applicable to pre-mosaic people either). The context of Ex. 31 is quite clear on this and those who want to extend Sabbath observance to New Covenant Christians must that these explanations out of the context in which they are used in Scripture.
No where in Scripture are new Covenant Christians or pre-mosaic people
      1. commanded to observe or keep the Sabbath of the Mosaic Law.
      2. Instructed on how to keep this Sabbath.
      3. found to have provided any examples of then observing or keeping
      the Sabbath.
New Covenant Christians have other signs of their New Covenant like baptism and the Lords Last Supper.
It sounds like you may be imposing Judaizing ideology upon New Covenant Christians.
I do agree that the Actual Sabbath of the Mosaic law begins on Sundown Friday and ends sundown Saturday and it has never changes. Scripture is clear on that point. Those who advocate that the Sabbath changed days are also taking the Scriptures out of context and placing it with in the context of their own ideology, just as those who try to impose the Sabbath observance on New Covenant Christians do.

What's your point? Do you even know what the New Covenant is? It's Yah writing His Torah (Laws) in our minds and on our hearts. So, are you supposing that those Laws don't include the Sabbath? The Sabbath is one of the very TEN Commandments, NINE of which you keep. That ought to tell you something. (My apologies if I've misunderstood the jest of your comment, as I'm assuming that it's against the Sabbath. If that is the case, then you're dead wrong.)

    • @efandmk3382

@@sourmilkministries9445 It's obvious from your comment that you DIDN'T really understand what he, or she was saying. The writer of the original comment obviously knows what a covenant is. But we cannot possibly know what day of the week God intended to be the Sabbath. Thousands of different calendars were used in ancient times. Therefore, maybe which day it is exactly, isn't as important as that all are observing it on the same day? Most Christians observe it on Sunday. So I guess, YOU are the outlier?

    • @sourmilkministries9445
      @sourmilkministries9445 ปีที่แล้ว

@@efandmk3382 That's an interesting interjection, however, with all due respect to you, it is flawed from beginning to end. First of all, I believe the comment was indeed against the Sabbath - supposing that the Sabbath was done away with via the New Covenant. Moreover, the question wasn't: "What is a covenant". No, it was: "Do you even know what the New Covenant is?" And, sadly, most professing believers don't. On the contrary, they are taught that the Law was nailed to the Cross, rather than being written in their minds and on their hearts.
Second, we do indeed know the day of the week that God intended for the Sabbath, and that day is the seventh day - the day we call "Saturday". Hence, why 99.9% of all Sabbath keepers observe it on Saturday, including myself.
Third, calendars are not used to reckon the Sabbath. No, it's a simple process of counting to 7 and then repeating.
Fourth, again, we know that the seventh day is the Sabbath, and that's the day we are expected to keep it - even if everybody and his brother supposes to keep it on a different day.
And, lastly, most Christians do not keep the Sabbath on Sunday, as you suppose. On the contrary, they are taught to keep the so-called "Lord's Day" on Sunday - which is NOT the Sabbath, nor do the powers that be suppose that it is!
      Catechism of the Catholic Church:
      II. THE LORD'S DAY
This is the day which the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Actually, the Sabbath starts on Friday at sundown, and ends on Saturday at sundown.
You do have to understand the Sabbath was for the Israelites, given by God after the Israelites were delivered from Egypt and a sign of the covenant God established with them (See Ex 31 where Scripture explains this fact).
The Sabbath could not officially be observed as Scripture demands above the arctic circle where the sun never sets in the summer and the sun never rises in the winter. of course since no Jewish people lived there it would not be applicable.

Jesus will not break the commandments apart. In Isaiah 66:22-23 God speaks of the new world and new heaven he will create that will last forever and will observe his sabbaths and new moons. In Isaiah 56 1-12 God gives promises to people who will keep the covenant of his Sabbaths and give them a place in his kingdom. Read the whole chapter, this promise is to people who were once considered unclean and unworthy to enter the house of God . In verse 7 God says he will accept their prayers and sacrifices. When Sabbath occured in the Old Testament strangers were not allowed into the sanctuary to violate the Sabbath in the land of Israel. If someone is teaching you the Sabbath is not for Gentiles it is like they are trying to teach you grace is not for sinners who repent or heaven is only for the Jews. Pulling for you!

▸ Keeping the sabbath was part of the law that Christ took away. “He . . . canceled out the certificate of death consisting of decrees against us . . .; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ” (Colossians 2:14-17). Christians are no more obligated to keep the sabbath than the other Old Testament festivals or its food and drink regulations! In fact, we are warned against going back to the Law to justify our practices. To do so severs us from Christ (Galatians 5:1-4).

If I didn’t believe in God I wouldn’t ever want to belong to such disgusting vile Christians who attack other Christians. By saying the early church was wrong and in error you claim all of Christianity is fake and untrue.
How could you continue to say you’re a Christian.
Either you agree with what I am saying about ever Christian Church how we all have over the centuries demolished the works of Christ Jesus.
If you agree with me give this a thumbs up.👍
If you agree spread the word telling our leaders we want change.

He took advantage of where he could preach to many non believing Jews who gathered together each Saturday and explained to them of the risen Christ (Acts 17:2).
Say you have a custom to preach to agents of the Watchtower on a certain day, but that doesn't mean you are keeping that day.

The Law of Moses is no longer in force. As Paul put it, the Lord has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to His cross (Col. 2:13,14). He continues saying, Therefore let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ (Col. 2:16,17). These Christians were being criticized for not keeping the Law of Moses, especially with respect to remembering the Sabbath. In this passage Paul refers to keeping the Sabbath as a shadow of things to come, a phrase used by the Hebrew writer in reference to making animal sacrifices (Heb. 10:1-4). Just as the shadow of animal sacrifice was replaced by the substance of Christ’s sacrificial death, so is the shadow of remembering the Sabbath replaced by the substance of the Lord’s Supper on the first day of the week. There is just as much authority in the New Testament for remembering the Sabbath as there is for animal sacrifices none!

@craycrayray2432 The Law of Moses with its Ten Commandments was the “handwriting of decrees against us and contrary to us”. It was given by Jehovah to the Israelite nation some fifteen centuries before the birth of Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 5:1-5). It was never designed to be a permanent legal system. Accordingly, it was abrogated as a binding law almost two millennia ago. Those who go back to the Law of Moses, fall from grace. The Jewish regime was certainly included in Jesus’ statement from the cross, “It is finished” (John 19:30).

You are missing the point. Christ died to save us from legalism. Collosians 2: 16 “ Therefore let no one judge you in regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day. Such things are only a shadow of what is to come and they have only symbolic value.” If you think that by worshipping on a certain day of the week, you will be saved, then you are sadly mistaken. You are saved only by the Grace of God, an internal change and commitment to Christ, and not an external observation.Stop seeking deeds as a way to salvation, that is the easy way.

    • @frederickwalker7021
      @frederickwalker7021 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

I am not exactly sure why Bible readers continue to use Collosians 2:16 to discredit the Sabbath or any other commandment. This scripture does not say God is tossing away the commandments. What it does say is that people who were being converted by Christ’s disciples were being discouraged from keeping God ‘commandments. This would include the New Moon Sabbaths, The commandments, God’s food laws, etc.
The thing you said about Grace is partially true. I do believe we are saved by grace, but Paul tells us in Romans 6:1 that “ we are saved by grace, but does that mean we continue sinning. The answer he gave was “no”. Sabbath breaking is still a sin and Paul is telling us to continue to keep that Sabbath along with the rest of God’s commandments. If we were saved by grace, the book of Revelation, which is punishment for the world for their sins, would have not been written. In other words if we are saved by “grace”, why is he punishing many for their sins, right?
Christ created the Seventh Day Sabbath as early as Genesis 2:1-3 this is why he is Lord of the Sabbath. He knew that men would try creating their own Sabbaths in worship of Him which only leads to confusion, lots of fighting and death. The world we live in is pretty much proof of that. It’s jus something mankind cannot do on its own. Only God can show us how to worship Him.
Another reason why God created the Seventh Day Sabbath was for those who do not want to be apart of the hatred and violence created by other religions. We all know that Muslims and Christians are going to have a showdown someday. If you want to be protected, keep the Sabbath(and all the other commandments) and God will protect you from these people (Lev 267-10). Read the Book of Revelations to understand who and how God will protect those who keep his Sabbath(and commandments)
So, on an end note, let’s stop using the bible to discredit the Bible. It’s not a good thing. Keep the Seventh Day Sabbath.

You rightly say it is symbolic, if it symbolizes something, should it thrown away? It would lose its purpose or valus as a symbol!
If you finish that the thought in verse 17, it says in most translation: but the SUBSTANCE of CHRIST
      This is a mistranslation!
SUBSTANCE is "SOMA" in Greek ( Strong's G4983) the BODY or the BODY of the CHURCH
      Body of Christ means the church ( Rom 12:5; 1 Cor 12:12-27; Eph 3:6; 4:15-16; 5:23 ; Col 1:18,24)
So what Paul is saying here is:
Do not let anyone( person not in the church that are teaching different things if you read the whole epistles) decide or determine ( or in other sense teach or give judgment) regarding Sabbath but the Church for it symbolizes a Sabbath in the future.
He did not say that they should no longer observe Sabbath. The mere fact that SABBATH was mention goes to show that it is relevant for them.
Nothing in the video says that you will be saved by worshipping on a certain day.
Yes, Salvation is of grace ( Rom 6:23 )
But Salavation is a process (Acts 2:38 )
      Who are being saved?
The CHUCH of GOD ( Rev chapter 2 and 3 )
CHURCH is "Ekklésia" in Greek ( Strong's G1577) means the called out ones
Jesus said many are CALLED but few are chosen (Mat 22:14)
And in John 6:44- Jesus said " No one can come unto me UNLESS the FATHER DRAWS them, and I will raise them up at the last day.
Those who are called then (that belongs to the CHURCH of God -Act 20:28) have heavenly CALLING (Heb 3:1)
Those who were CALLED were created for GOOD WORKS ( Eph 2:10 )
And those who are called LOVE GOD ( Rom 8:28 )
And if you LOVE GOD, keep His COMMANDMENTS ( John 14: 15 )
For Jesus said, if you want to enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS ( Mat 19:17 )
Because the LOVE OF GOD is that we KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS ( 1 John 5:3 )
The keeping of Sabbath as Holy is the 4th Commandment ( Exo 20:8 )
And Jesus said it was made for MAN ( Mark 2:27 )
He and His disciples observed it ( Luke 4:16; 23:56 )
      Paul observed it ( Acts 17:2 )
Paul imitate Christ and Paul said we should imitate him ( 1 Cor 11:1 )
And in Hebrew 4: 9 it says that therr remains a SABBATH-REST for the people of God! Why?
SABBATH is special for it is the sign of God's people ( Ezekiel 20:20 )
And we should enter that rest by resting on the 7th day just as God did ( Heb 4:4, 9-11)
We observe SABBATH because we LOVE GOD....
      DO YOU LOVE GOD?

The Sabbath Day for the people of God, so if you not belong to God then you don't need to keep the Sabbath Day Holy, amen)))

"Every place in the Bible where Sabbaths and New Moons are assigned a date, the 2nd day of the Moon or month is always the 1st work day, and the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the month are Sabbaths without exception!"
Our great Creator embedded his method of timekeeping in the firmament of Heaven, where it could never be corrupted by man.
Psalm 104: 19. He appointed the moon for seasons (appointed worship times): the sun knoweth his going down.
Isaiah declares that the calendar established at creation will be restored throughout all eternity.
Isaiah 66: 23. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith Yahuwah.
    The 4th Commandment:
Remember the Sabbath to keep it Holy.
"The Sabbath will be the great test of Loyalty."

Jimmy South: This is called "the lunar sabbath" by many. But God said, "six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God..." How do you lunar sabbath keepers account for the fact that there are never six days between the last sabbath of the month and the first sabbath of the next month? You never bother to explain that anomaly. Further, Jesus kept the same sabbath as did the Jews. There was no quarrel between them about what day was the sabbath. Neither was there a quarrel between the Jews and the Gentile believers over what day was the sabbath. When did the Jews or the Gentiles change the sabbath from Saturday to the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of each month and by what authority did they do so? Or, by what authority do you do so? My understanding is that even among you lunar sabbath keepers there is disagreement and controversy and strife. How do you explain this?

@@vaticanjesuitNWO The New Moon is day 1 followed by six working days then the Seventh Day Sabbath on the eighth.
Psalms 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: (Appointed Times) the sun knoweth his going down.
The Seventh Day Sabbath is an Appointed Time.
There were no planetary names for days established during creation week.

The substance, or the thing that the Sabbath was pointing to, is Jesus Christ. He is our rest. It doesn't matter whether you go to corporate worship on Saturday or on Sunday, because that's not what really matters. What really matters is that you find your rest in Christ!

      Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths, which are a shadow of the coming things, and the body [is] of the Christ;
      Colossians 2:16‭-‬17 YLT98
This is the closet translation of that verses.
      What does Paul mean here?
      1. Do not let anyone judge you
      - if you read the whole epistle to the Colossians, he keeps on warning them about these people who judges the Church of God. Notice in Col 2: 4, 8 ,18- these are the people he is talking about. Do not allow them to judge you about SABBATH and other things.
The Greek word for judge is krinó which could also mean to decide or determine...
      Why?
      2. These things are a shadow of things to come. It symbolizes what is coming. It is not a shadow of the past. But something to come is similar to what they are practicing then.
      3. BUT the BODY OF CHRIST -
Should be the correct translation. The Greek word is "de" meaning but. And [is] was never in the original text.
Who is the BODY OF CHRIST?
      The CHURCH of GOD!
      Read Romans 12:5 ; 1 Cor 12:12-27 ; Eph 3:6 , 4:15-16 , 5:23 ; Col 1:18, 24
What Paul is saying here is:
Do not let these deceptive people decide or determine for you your SABBATH and other things but the CHURCH of GOD ( Meaning the leaders of the Church who are teaching the correct doctrine and the truth)
This is the meaning of Colossians 2:16-17.

@@johnmariano4668 👍Indeed. The people that were judging the Colossian church were ascetic Gnostics. The Gnostics were condemning the church because they were CELEBRATING (eating and drinking) as they participated in the Sabbath and holy days. Moreover, you're 100% correct, the "body" is the "church", and Paul is saying that the church is the only one who is to pass judgement on you concerning spiritual matters.

Happy Sabbath Alex Reid thanks for reaching out to me. It makes me so glad to hear you want to do God's will and honor the Seventh Day Sabbath. No the good Lord does not accept us to honor the Sabbath day when it's convenient for us or when we are able to work it out for ourselves. Once you know the truth of God's Sabbath and do not it is sin. If you try to work it out for yourself however how long it takes believe me it will never happen SATAN will make sure it won't happen and then you can lost your soul. Tomrrow is not promise to us we can die before we make it right. GOD IS A PARTICULAR PERSON THAT'S WHY HE SAYS IN EXODUS 20:8 Remember the Sabbath Day: God knew the whole world will forget that's why he said remember.
My testament: Ì grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist Church I fall away as a teen I used to work Friday night's and Saturdays during the Sabbath hours(but it never felt right because I knew better) I came back to the church gave my heart to God and wanted to honor the Sabbath day but was scared to ask my boss for the Sabbath day off I didn't want to be criticized or to lost my job. I spoke to the Pastor I asked if I can stop working and honor the Sabbath another time he said No sister pray about it do an honest days work every day at work and meet with the boss on the matter. Within days of speaking with the Pastor I did just that and in the meeting I was still scared but I kept praying during the meeting management tried to talk me out of it. I did get criticized after but I got the Sabbath day off. It became easier after that to get the Sabbath off. I've had five other jobs up to date after that and God always gets me the Sabbath off. I request of you to Google Doug Bachelor or Dr. Carlton P. Byrd website on the "Seventh Day Sabbath."
    Please keep me informed.

    • @dustinpotter8312

I have heard Doug Bachelor and do have a few dislikes but over all he is an articulate teacher. Here is a synopsis of what I have learned of the Sabbath that God pronounced in the Garden of Eden on the 7th day before Adam. (Adam worked in the Garden of Eden under the Sabbath guideline. When people say Adam only had one rule God gave him about the tree of knowledge of good and evil they missed the first rule God gave Adam. It's been taught that way for thousands of years.) Mark 16... the Marys went to buy spices to anoint the body of Jesus after the "Sabbath" but which Sabbath? Leviticus 23 declares the day immediately following the Passover is a Sabbath (beginning of feast of unleavened bread but also the first of seven Sabbaths leading to the feast of first fruits or what is called Pentecost today). John 19 calls it a "high Sabbath" (meaning an annual not weekly Sabbath). To say Jesus was crucified on Friday and rose on Sunday morning is to call him a false prophet or a liar (3 days/3 nights not 1 1/2 days). Google "Roman and Jewish Wars" and you will find the Caesar of Rome 145 AD decreed a law, that neither Jew or Christian should meet to worship God on the Saturday Sabbath under penalty of death. If the Christians were not meeting on the Sabbath they would not have been threatened to stop or face a penalty of death or even included n the law. Every Bible stating Sunday as the resurrection day of Christ is in error (Geneva Bible clarifies Mark 16 account of resurrection as Christ rising on the weekly Sabbath and not Sunday. Every church that meets on Sunday is accepting the Catholic change of the Sabbath which will bring them a double curse for changing God's word (they added Sunday but took out Saturday). The devil changed the day. In Isaiah 56:2-8 promises blessings to those who are, in this world outcasts and non Jews, an ever lasting name ( the specific time we are in). Verse 7 specifies it is not just for Jews.

OBVIOUSLY you have NO idea of how Jews counted day at that time, and AFTER creation!! Evening to evening!!

----Mark 16:1-2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. 2 And very early on the first day of the week( SUNDAY), when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb.
Mark 16:9 After Jesus rose from the dead early on Sunday morning, the first person who saw him was Mary Magdalene, the woman from whom he had cast out seven demons.
