I just love you two! My parents were Italian immigrants. They always went a farm in New Jersey to get their tomatoes for the year. 40 baskets! Then they'd make the 'gravy' and can it. But if they used tomatoes from the backyard they called it garden gravy. Too cute!❤️🍅🍅

I don't really have any unicorns at the moment. I have been doing Bucilla kits, beading and scrapbooking more than cross stitching lately but after my daughter and I ordered a bunch of Lizzie Kate I see much stitching in our future! Always enjoy your videos. I have no idea how you can get so much accomplished but then I am the self-proclaimed "World's Slowest Stitcher"! My unicorn is "Fiddler's Hands" (I think that is the name), a retired chart from Heaven and Earth Designs. My great grandfather made fiddles and I would love to honor his memory with this. I just got a package of Pat Carson's needles and can hardly wait to use them.
I love the Pat needles. I don't think I would be back to cross stitching and flosstube if it wasn't for them. I am excited to get started on the SAL. This will be my first with you gals. I already have an idea for how to Priscilla finish.

All out of print and beyond my price point when they do very rarely appear for sale. I wish both of these would offer their designs again like Goode Huswife is. Looking forward to your next SAL. Your baby quilt is going to be darling, the baby will no doubt use it when he is older, cuddling infront of the tv in the evening. All 5 of my grandbabies still use their blankies (flannel quilts I made them) oldest is 16 yrs. I wanted to mention that when I did a lot of flying for work, I always carried containers of dental floss with me and used the blade to cut my threads, I wasn't into flossing my teeth on the plane ! lol this was when they were more strict. My unicorn for more years than I care to admit (mid 80's) is an almost completed Janlynn Christmas goose ! Just ordered my SAL Bless Our Home Thank you !
My Unicorn is a pattern from across Stitch magazine in 1994. It is a pet Christmas stocking. I did one for my dog that passed away a couple of years ago. I had “loaned” someone my magazine but they never returned it.

I'm already stitching "Bless Our Home" but haven't worked on it in a week. Working on baby blankets. My first Grandson (son and DIL's first baby) is due June 5th. Love watching you ladies. Priscilla - search on Pinterest for Crochet Chicken Border. Ran across it when searching for crochet border patterns and thought of you and Chelsea. About to start a rag or scrappy baby quilt soon. Several cross stitch patterns in the works as well. Unicorn - had a yard sale about 6 years ago and sold most of my cross stitch patterns. Kept a few just in case I started back cross-stitching. Did sell 2 patterns I wish I had kept - Soldiers - Confederate and Yankee soldiers. Ran across Priscilla's blog about 2 years ago and my stash is larger than I originally had. LOL!

Hmmmmm my unicorn charts are still available. But now due to my December chart/thread/fabric buying spree the hubby says to tone it down. In our house even my daughters call it when mom lost her mind in December. So anyway my unicorn chart would be the Santa village series from country cottage needle works. First, I have to say how much I enjoy your videos. I look forward to them every week. :) My unicorn chart is not exactly a chart. In Cross Stitch & Country Crafts March/Arpril 1987 issue there are charts to cross stitch faces for two dolls: Emma Louise and Mary Elizabeth. However, to get the doll body and clothes patterns, you had to request them from the company. I didn't get my issue until later, and the doll patterns were no longer available. So I can't really stitch the faces until I find those doll patterns. I search ebay regularly but have never found them.

I love to cross stitch but I become frustrated with the finishes. I have difficult time centering the project on tacky board and getting sharp corners.Do you have any suggestions or would you ever consider doing a video showing how you finish a project? Thanks!! I often get 2-3 smalls stitched with one needle. They stay sharp and I have yet to break one. You can also find the needles through Cindy Sorley X-Stitch Express or Ceceilia's Sample Shop....both are online and on Facebook....just google for contact information. I can’t remember the name, but its of a little girl in a field of flowers. You were supposed to bleach the bottom of the linen, which i did, and it was perfect!!! I still think of that one often!!

My unicorn chart is the one behind you, Blackbird Designs Easter Parade! I have to tell you when I saw Priscilla was working on Hen & Chicks in a post somewhere, I made sure I finished mine this morning! Thanks for the motivation :-) I had the same problem with the colors being too close and must have tried and ripped out 4 colors before I found the one I liked. You will definitely have it framed or finished however you decide before me though. I bought a frame but I know I won't find time this week to get it mounted.

Loved that bucket FFO- it stands tall and can be groupped with some smaller ones:) Good lioking quilting project. Chicken apron looks good. Since most of overdyed threads are not colorfast it works well together. My unicorn pattern is actually a kit (or I would get pattern with thread leftover samples). It is Dimensions The North wind... Great video! You two crack me up! So, my unicorn is not a single pattern, but a loose leaf binder that I bought. I put those clear page protectors in it, and started sorting through my patterns. Well, it went missing! I have searched high and low, and nothing! I am on speed dial to St. Anthony - Patron of Lost Items, and still nothing! I had quiet a few pattern that I purchased recently, so, I am really upset. I’ll keep praying to St. Anthony! 🙏

Oh hey, I stitched Bless Our House like a hundred years ago... well, maybe only 7 or years ago. I think I did it with the called for flosses, but I think I used a linen that wasn't exactly the called for, but close. It's all framed up and sits on the console by my front door. I don't actually have a unicorn pattern at the moment. There's nothing out there that I'm desperately searching for right now.
My unicorn chart is one I got at Dixie Darlin about 15 years ago and gave away. It had the "women are like teabags" quote and that's all I remember except it came with a teabag and you used the tag in the design. I would know it if I saw it.
Tea dying that apron made me lol.The reason being,on one of my scrappy quilts i made years ago,when i laid it on my bed to see if it was big enough,a couple of the blocks had white in them ,that was too white and stuck out like a sore thumb,so i did as you did.i made some tea and using a paper towel dabbed the tea on the white until i like the color,heat set it with the iron,and all was well!!! Thanks for another great video,you guys make my week,you're so natural in everything you do,or i could say down to earth,and i mean that in a good way. I made a dozen bibs the other day and a bunch of burp cloths for my ggs who just turned 3 mos.Havn't got to see him in person yet as they live in wisconsin.. Priscilla - search on Pinterest for Crochet Chicken Border. Ran across it when searching for crochet border patterns and thought of you and Chelsea. About to start a rag or scrappy baby quilt soon. Several cross stitch patterns in the works as well. Unicorn - had a yard sale about 6 years ago and sold most of my cross stitch patterns. Kept a few just in case I started back cross-stitching. Did sell 2 patterns I wish I had kept - Soldiers - Confederate and Yankee soldiers. Ran across Priscilla's blog about 2 years ago and my stash is larger than I originally had. LOL!
You are so fun to watch! Your finishes inspire me to, well, actually finish my projects :-). I only started stitching again recently so I am not sure I have a unicorn chart, but I would like to stitch WTNT Bobbing for Pumpkins.
Love the new SAL choice. I will have to get everything ordered soon. My unicorn chart is the classic Prairie Schooler Village Green. I see it on eBay every so often, but the prices are crazy! My fingers are crossed they decide to reprint that one soon. :)

Hmmmmm my unicorn charts are still available. But now due to my December chart/thread/fabric buying spree the hubby says to tone it down. In our house even my daughters call it when mom lost her mind in December. So anyway my unicorn chart would be the Santa village series from country cottage needle works. I think they would be so cute finished as stand alone cubes on my hearth as a little cute Christmas village!!! Thanks for the videos!

First, I have to say how much I enjoy your videos. I look forward to them every week. :) My unicorn chart is not exactly a chart. In Cross Stitch & Country Crafts March/Arpril 1987 issue there are charts to cross stitch faces for two dolls: Emma Louise and Mary Elizabeth. However, to get the doll body and clothes patterns, you had to request them from the company. I didn't get my issue until later, and the doll patterns were no longer available. So I can't really stitch the faces until I find those doll patterns. I search ebay regularly but have never found them.

I love to cross stitch but I become frustrated with the finishes. I have difficult time centering the project on tacky board and getting sharp corners.Do you have any suggestions or would you ever consider doing a video showing how you finish a project? Thanks!! Yours are always perfectly centered and corners are always sharp.They always look so perfect!

Did you know that you can cross stitch on Gingham fabric? It's called Chicken Scratch! It's usually done with white floss. 😊

I have used Pat Carson's needles for over a year...will never use any others. I often get 2-3 smalls stitched with one needle. They stay sharp and I have yet to break one. You can also find the needles through Cindy Sorley X-Stitch Express or Ceceilia's Sample Shop....both are online and on Facebook....just google for contact information.
My "unicorn" chart is LK Winter Button Up....it's the one I'm missing...I have the other seasons.

Oh my gosh! I wished I lived closer to you two! You make me 😆! Thanks for the tip on the needles. My unicorn 🦄 is a old lavender and lace. I can’t remember the name, but its of a little girl in a field of flowers. You were supposed to bleach the bottom of the linen, which i did, and it was perfect!!! I still think of that one often!!

My unicorn chart is the one behind you, Blackbird Designs Easter Parade! I have to tell you when I saw Priscilla was working on Hen & Chicks in a post somewhere, I made sure I finished mine this morning! Thanks for the motivation :-) I had the same problem with the colors being too close and must have tried and ripped out 4 colors before I found the one I liked. You will definitely have it framed or finished however you decide before me though. I bought a frame but I know I won't find time this week to get it mounted.

Loved that bucket FFO- it stands tall and can be groupped with some smaller ones:) Good lioking quilting project. Chicken apron looks good. Since most of overdyed threads are not colorfast it works well together. My unicorn pattern is actually a kit (or I would get pattern with thread leftover samples). It is Dimensions The North wind... I have searched my LNS' for Prairie Schoolers Barnyard Christmas chart with no luck 😩. I have not scoured the internet yet! I've placed my order for Bless Our Home and I hope my daughter doesn't mind me starting to stitch it at her wedding...that's the big day!

Great video! You two crack me up! So, my unicorn is not a single pattern, but a loose leaf binder that I bought. I put those clear page protectors in it, and started sorting through my patterns. Well, it went missing! I have searched high and low, and nothing! I am on speed dial to St. Anthony - Patron of Lost Items, and still nothing! I had quiet a few pattern that I purchased recently, so, I am really upset. I’ll keep praying to St. Anthony! 🙏

Oh hey, I stitched Bless Our House like a hundred years ago... well, maybe only 7 or years ago. I think I did it with the called for flosses, but I think I used a linen that wasn't exactly the called for, but close. It's all framed up and sits on the console by my front door. I don't actually have a unicorn pattern at the moment. There's nothing out there that I'm desperately searching for right now.
My unicorn chart is one I got at Dixie Darlin about 15 years ago and gave away. It had the "women are like teabags" quote and that's all I remember except it came with a teabag and you used the tag in the design. I would know it if I saw it.
Tea dying that apron made me lol.The reason being,on one of my scrappy quilts i made years ago,when i laid it on my bed to see if it was big enough,a couple of the blocks had white in them ,that was too white and stuck out like a sore thumb,so i did as you did.i made some tea and using a paper towel dabbed the tea on the white until i like the color,heat set it with the iron,and all was well!!!
