From what i grasp, this is 100% made in Unreal 5, which blows me away every time i think about how realistic everything looks and how all the characters more like amazing stop-motion animations. The other is if you guys are wondering why that guy was sad at Ray Razor when he places his hand on hers, you guys should read the text on the back of the box, it has a secret lore between these characters they snuck into this movie.
What does it say on the back of the box? Text is small and it’s cuts away quickly in the trailer

as for the story, i'll give a rough summery, the leader of the Necronites is Ray's Brother from the Empire and Space Elite, transformed after being mortally wounded and she tried to save him from someplace called the Necron Pits, even though doing so would mean her brother will be forever transformed and become her enemy.

a big part of the stop-motion-ness i think is how committed they were to having them articulated like actual toys. all of their movements stay within the range that a real toy would have, further selling the illusion of a real object being manipulated. i never watched the original but this short teaser blew me away, i've always been a big fan of toy story and similar concepts and still fondly remember all the time i spent playing with action figures as a kid, so i really hope that whatever they have planned gets off the ground
I found a guy who custom makes all the small soldires figurines with an insane level of accuricy. I wanna get the whole set of gorgonites and now I wanna pick up these new characters, this is awesome to see.

You can tell from both leaders faces there’s a personal history between the two. I really need to see how it will happen. I mean this just came out of nowhere for me!

You can actually see what the connection between the space elite woman and the necronite leader is if you pause the video and read the toy box he came in when she opened the post pox.

On the box they are brother and sister (the leaders) she tried to save his life turning him into that.
This was way, way WAY better then any expectations I had going into it. If you are taking a backlist of rec's from randoms i have mentioned this before but there's this claymation movie, "Vordum: Price of Death" I think is well up your ally.
Let me break down a few details that stuck out to me:
1. In the opening shot, the clipboard actually has writing on it, showing the inventory of figures
2. What appears to be a Pennywise Funko POP! is seen on a shelf right after it goes dark
3. When Ray climbs out of her box and then jumps down from the shelf, we see her moving a bit stiffly, like a real action figure would if it came to life
4. The part where Ray starts to scour the warehouse for the Nekronites, seems to mirror the original film when Chip Hazard was going around looking for the Gogonites
5. I love how when Ray fires art Shix-Shax, she looks like she expects her gun to do some damage
6. The high point had to be the emotion in the window scene, two siblings, driven apart by a conflict beyond either of their control
This needs to be a sequel ASAP! 😁
Funny enough, this was supposed to be a sequel to the original film. But for some reason the studio said no to the idea but said yes to the upcoming video game.

The only problem I see is the only other game this studio has worked was a mobile game where they heavily pushed NFTs, so take that with a grain of salt

@@mesa8680 they haven't said it's a movie or game, but from the looks of it, it's probably gonna be a game and based on how the characters look a hero shooter most likely. Also it's a reboot not a sequel, big difference
I have a small theory of the space elite members, some could be members of the original commando elite outfitted with cybernetics to keep them alive while others could be descendents.
I’d believe that, considering the CE were the og it wouldn’t be too far fetched to say designs and ideas were passed down
If they want it to be in the same universe I’d like to add some stuff. The Boss after seeing the destruction didn’t call for an end to production instead he said “put a few zeros to the original price and sell them to the military. I get the feeling the army is going to love these toys” it could be these are updated versions of the original toy line that got sent somewhere they weren’t supposed to be.

The Creators are notorious for attempting to hijack old IPs without licensing anything and are still in a court case for copyright infringement for an attempt at stealing an IP to make a shitty NFT PROJECT do not support them and do not get hyped
The guy chomping cigar and the other space elite are the same guys as the commando elite. Hope there's some continuations. The one gusy face is all burnt like what happens in the original movie.
The part where she tried to shoot him through the glass was hilarious
If you were free from muscular commando with a creepy Grand, I would suggest brick bazooka. He acts like the comic relief.

So if you read the back of the toy package that had the Necronites leader it’s says that he and Ray are brother and sister. He was part of the Elite but an accident turned him into a Necron.

Makes high budget trailers for projects to IPs they don't own the rights to, as the only other thing I've found from any Comadran Studios is a pair of trailers from six months back and a website for a defunct Medabots project? I presume it's probably to squeeze donations out of hopefuls.
A little bit of a shame cause I would like to see something actually done with the IP.
Mostly on the head! They made a couple of crypto currencies and rugpulled a bunch of people, then used the money to attack the actual IP and TM holder. It's why we don't have a number of the newer games translated, or the real mobile game for medabots over in the west.

Looks about like any other remake this era.. Like the Overwatch version of Small Soldiers..
Though, a saving grace could be a "classic Mod''.. Bringing Familiar faces back, because I don't like a single Nekronite design.. Looks very AI though..
