- Sith Warrior Class Quest
I skipped the rather boring fighting scenes before this. It's some kind of "Look how I can heal up 3 times and become more evil each time!"
Generally I have to say that I enjoy the Sith Warrior storyline far more than the Sith Inquisitor. The SI is the basic Bioware story: Lowborn slave gains godlike power and becomes a superhero.
The SW story is way more interesting. For example, you can choose if you want Jaesa to be light or dark, usually depending on your own perspective. The SI cannot do that with Ashara. Vette is also a lot more fun than Khem Val. For starters, she can talk basic! And I always loved Mission Vao in KotOR, which is basically her role model.
And then there is Darth Baras. Instead of being a party girl like Darth Zash he's actually quite cool for a Sith. He can take a hint, laugh at a joke, enjoy a little creative argueing and accept different approaches. For example, he wanted me to leave the Jedi Master alive and kill the apprentice. I did the exact opposite and he commended me for it.
The only thing that bugs me is that Jaesa is human. Her being a Miraluka, who can sense other peoples force alignment, would have been much more fitting. - เกม

AndrewQ84 Well, only if you want to play a lunatic Sith Lord that most other Sith Lords would snicker about behind closed doors. And not the intimidated snicker. After this scene Jaesa turns into a 12-year-old teenage brat with the IQ of a cereal box. I never made another video about her, because I stopped suffering her silly story and completed the class without her.

I dont remember ever a Jedi saying that as a master they can defeat every sith. Yoda said in the story the light is strong but do not underestimate the powers of the emperor.
If a sith beats a jedi its because there knowledge of the force is greater and their skills with a lightsaber., the same if a jedi defeats a sith.
Well, its a crap story to be honest. From zealous Jedi to bloodthirsty Sith in five minutes. Please. I never spoke to Jaesa after this one.

Loss of her former master and parents wouldn't be enough to get her mad and use anger result turning to the dark side?
While the storyline itself was pretty awesome, Jaesa's actual conversion was pretty weak. It should have been expanded upon. Making someone a psycho that quickly is pretty lame. Why would she suddenly be excited to kill her master, why did she suddenly find his quick answers so convincing as her world had been crushed? Maybe some cutscenes with her on Korriban would have been good to expand the story

It was, at the same time, the best and the worst. The fact that you can have a disciple to train, to teach, and she can either be a someone trying to understand your light side Sith or a Sith Lord in the making, Is great, and the character of Jaesa was great idea and concept.
BUT
It's rushed. Too rushed. She goes from good jedi girl from murdering looney in 15 seconds and 2 lines of dialogue. It's too over the top. Some conversations with her, making her more and more attracted to you during the quest for finding her, and her character evolving more slowly towards the dark side, it will be good. There's a line where the Sith Warrior says "Anger, bitterness, guilty... Keep those emotions, use them to fuel your power". She may haver shown regret and sorrow to kill her former master, and from there, a bit slower evolution towards a murdering looney. It would have been much better.
In other words. Great idea, bad portrayed.

@@Veridiano02 imo, she seemed psychopathic even before she turned, it was also kinda hinted a couple times that you could turn her, it was rushed, but it was clearly the path the story was taking
I usually leave Nomen Karr alive, feels good to know that he is somewhere in the galaxy knowing he failed miserably at keeping Jaesa from the dark side.
On Belsavis, the Warrior runs into Master Timns, who was Noman Karr's Padawan before Jaesa. If you let Karr go back to the Council, Timns will tell you that Noman has stopped communing with the Force altogether.
@@Janoha17 And in Jedi Under Seige, Gnost-Dural mentions him among other dead jedi. I like to imagine that if you left him alive, he might have committed suicide.
They tie him up but let him keep his light sabre ... nice work!
He's far too wounded at that point to fight back anymore, even against Sith Troopers, so it's a moot point. Had the Warrior not ordered Jaesa to kill him, the troopers likely would have taken his lightsaber from him, ostensibly to then present it to Baras as a trophy/gift from you.
I don't understand why Jaesa who is first strong willed and so on, falls so quickly and willingly, but in the inquisitor storyline, Ashara who literally shows traits of being a sith, legit sticks to her jedi values even after recruiting her as your apprentice even though the inquisitor is meant to be the master manipulator.
The Inquisitor didn't really get much in the way of actual lessons from either Harkun or Zash. (beyond having other students killed as examples.) So the finer points of manipulation and making a Jedi fall to the Dark Side weren't in the Inquisitor's syllabus. (And Baras did say that corrupting Jedi is something best left to the Masters.)
Ashara is confused. She has & uses her Dark side powers, but she thinks they are jedi powers. She doesn't understand that if she were really a jedi, then she would have been able to lift the big rock. She's the ghost from _The Sixth Sense,_ except she doesn't realize that she's dark side instead of dead. She uses her dark side power, but she thinks she believes they are light side powers

That's the thing about Dark Side corruption, it's almost like a high. It feels good to tap into the Dark Side and use it's power, all while wallowing in the emotions that come with it, which makes it an intoxicating experience, and thus it becomes addicting. Hence why it's so easy for Jedi to fall to the Dark Side, while it's also so hard for those corrupted by the Dark Side to be redeemed. One of the few things shown to be strong enough to truly redeem a Dark Sider is genuine heartfelt and selfless love (like how Anakin's love for his son allowed him to be redeemed and turn against Palpatine). Jolee Bindo from the first KOTOR will even tell you as much when questioned about love.

Converting her was so cool. I killed the Tatooine master, but I left her parents live to confuse her. Then I showed her how her master really was. After, I defeated her when she was using her most primal emotions. When she fell to the dark side I was saying "Gooood goood".
The funniest thing is the destiny of Nomen Karr: his mission failed, his Padawan in Sith hands and he would soon have a slow and painful death at the hands of Baras.

i think for this playing Pure light is the best, i just finished it with pure light. Jease found out that Nomen, a Jedi is bad and Me, a Sith is good. As my Character said, "don't presume so quickly on others"

Both factions Jedi and Sith infuse themselves with the force to engage in Lightsaber combat, it allows them to react instantly and with a sense of perception greater then base instinct.
Both Jedi and Sith Also use the force to augment their combat abilities, to make themselves faster and stronger.
So command of the force has much to do with Lightsaber combat; Although if you look at beings such as Dooku he had the best of both worlds. A masterful duelist and strong command of the force.
I have always wondered what happens if you allow Jaessa to read you as a dark side character?

Jaesa becomes repulsed by the darkness, tries to kill you, then decides that the Dark Side is stronger after you beat her.
If you encounter her with a perfectly balanced Light and Dark rating, she becomes confused by the contradictions she sees and decides to attack, to the same effect.
This is an epic turning. I love it.
it does seem weird how quickly she turns to the dark but taking into consideration we just killed her parents, her old mentor, her friends, then exposed her master and her order, coupled with clear signs of frustration towards the jedi ways prior to the confrontation, i think she was already at her breaking point when she arrived and that made seducing her a walk in the park
I always consider doing a Dark Side Sith, but I always stop because:
A: Gets too psychotic at times
B: Vette

what happens to jaesa in the Knights of the fallen empire expac? I haven't gotten her back yet. she is my wife :(
xSteel FeveRx 4 years late but here it goes.
Light: Initially tries to keep reforming the Empire from within but leaves once the Sith start turning on each other again following reports of Marr’s death. Ends up being accepted back into the Jedi, leading to her ending up on Dantooine where she eventually meets the SW (now Outlander) again and potentially joins the Alliance.
Dark: Starts going on a bloody rampage across Zakuul space before setting her sights on uncovering Sith artefacts, hoping that they contain the means to increase her power further. Continues this until catching word of the Eternal Alliance and of her former Sith master as its leader, leading her to presume that the SW had intentionally abandoned her (just like her family, the Alderaan noble houses & the Jedi had done). Strikes Odessan after the Zilldrog incident and is caught after a failed attempt on Lana’s life, who leaves Jaesa’s fate to the “Commander”. Either Dark Jaesa ends up remaining a prisoner, killed in a short duel with the Wrath or joins the Alliance after the SW apologies and assures he/she won’t abandon her again or confesses feelings for her and starts/resumes a relationship.

There is a scene on YT that shows what happens if u have good relationship with both Jaesa & Yette. Yette on the ship asks you to choose and if you choose both, Jaesa is all for it and Vette is disgusted, basically a 180 of the ME 1 scene w/Liara & Ashley.
Vette just chilling in the background like, “This is better than daytime Holonet.”

is there a way to get her to the darkside if i was lightside when i got her and when i did most of her quest i'm am dark now but is there a way to change her feeling to dark side? if you can answer me because i think you might know please help.
Agreed but there is a reason it is said that only a force sensitive trained in the use of a lightsaber can wield one and that anyone not trained in its use would likely end up harming themselves rather than their enemies (quoting that from KOTOR) that reason is because the one factor that makes lightsaber blades resist each other is the negative magnetic force the blade produces, making it tough to wield and even harder to duel with hence why the force is required to keep control of the blade.
What I'd like to know is how to turn Jaesa dark side in the first place. Like, is there something you have to do for it? Do you have to have a dark side alignment? I keep getting mixed answers on that.

She's actually less emotional as light side in this scene, but shocked that a Sith could master the Light side of the Force. :)
