I love the light side warrior, everyone you meet just wants to aggressively murder you and you’re just standing there like “dammit can we just TALK about this?”
It's fun how a Light Side Sith points just how much of hypocrites Jedi are. All that talk about "peace" and avoiding conflict and 9 times out of 10 here they were the ones pushing for/forcing confrontation, lol
Well, if you met 99 evil terorists in your past, and the 100th starts telling you that he is actually a righteous freedom fighter, I doubt you'd be easily convinced.
She's so much more interesting if encouraged to remain light side. As a corrupted apprentice, she's just a hedonistic and bloodthirsty beast, slave to her own impulses to such a level she doesn't even adhere to Sith philosophy. As a light sider, she struggles with something, has a task to carry out, and by seeing it through she strengthens her convictions, even though she and her Master seem to be two lonely flames in a sea of darkness. The payoff seems much better, narratively speaking.
I view Light Side Sith Warrior (At least MY Light Side Sith Warrior) as a kind of ruthless vigilante of the Star Wars universe. He protects/refuses to kill innocent people, and wants to end the slavery, anti-alien policies, and evil within the Sith Empire, but he's willing to kill evil people or specific threats to the Sith Empire to do it. Both his greatest moral virtue and flaw is his stubbornness; stubborn enough to defy the path of evil despite pressure from the other Sith, but too stubborn to realize that redeeming the Sith Empire is a nigh impossible task. He's arrogant and cocky, but not at all selfish, and he does appreciate the friendship (Or romance, in Vette's case) of his crew. He has a lot of hatred, passion and fury in his heart, and he believes that these are essential virtues that make him stronger, but he uses that hatred, passion and fury to help others rather than just himself. Personally, I think Light Side Sith Warrior is by FAR the best and deepest character in the game. That's just my interpretation.
On the Warcraft alignment spectrum, your character would be considered Chaotic Good. It makes me want to share a little about my Sith Sorcerer character (a reflection of myself). Someone describe my character: He acts more on his own moral standards and personal interests. Not affiliating with any force alignment in particular, this powerful renegade sith lord serves the Empire, but isn't loyal to anyone. He bears a deceptive mask of respect toward anyone, whether its people he considers pawns and his "superiors", but ultimately doesn't answer to them if he doesn't agree with a certain course of action. Sith who have died because of him, usually met their fate due to underestimating the Sorcerer because of his lack of outright arrogance as they did. An example of his lack of obedience was clearly exhibited on the planet Voss, where Darth Serevin requested his assistance in persuading the Voss to join the Empire. At some point the sorcerer revealed to the Voss mystics the true nature of the nightmare lands. Serevin was clearly angered by this, and claimed the sorcerer botched the Empire's plans with a single sentence. The Sorcerer argued that, it is better not to lie to the mystics. The Sorcerer told Serevin that the Voss would be displeased if he lied to them by telling them the Jedi were responsible for the Nightmare lands, and not the Voss-Gormak War. Although the Sorcerer ultimately was proven correct, Darth Serevin still pleaded that the Sorcerer needs to give priority to the Empire in the future, not just himself. Interestingly, what people consider to be the biggest blight on the Sorcerer's personality is his lack of adequate social skills. This is hindered further by his insulting nature, snarky attitude, and rude humor. He has had nearly no social life, and this was brought into question when the sorcerer came to prominence after killing his master for allegedly "trying to take over his body". The sorcerer's followers began to wonder if the Sorcerer had any relation with the fallen jedi Ashara Zavros. Despite what many Imperials want to believe, there is little hope of such relationship. For all of the Sorcerer's false promises to reform the Empire and turn to the light, Ashara saw that there was no hope in trying to make a remotely decent jedi out of him. This, furthered by the Sorcerer's behavior, has distanced the two to great lengths. Usually, the Sorcerer goes dark if aggravated, or if the darker decision is considered better in some way he does it. If the Sorcerer doesn't feel like being evil, he doesn't. This behavior has infuriated the more conservative, hardliners, while confusing many. Tricking and messing with people's expectations brings the Sorcerer much amusement, especially when it brings out the true person in someone else.
KommissarReb I actually have a series of AMVs/Tributes for my Sith Warrior on my channel. Not to peddle my own product, but if you like the psychology/profiles of SWTOR videos, I'd advise checking them out, as each song kinda does a good job of representing who Vourrech (My Sith Warrior) is as a person. Would really appreciate if ya commented on them/watched them (Just as a warning, they are HORRIBLY edited and shot, but ignore that and ya might like 'em.)
***** Okay, I'll be sure to check them out. I would make my own and say it was a "video response" to one of your videos as an inspiration, but YT doesn't seem to have that feature anymore. BTW, how would you describe my Sorcerer character I just mentioned in my previous comment? More of a Sith, or a Jedi?
***** I would say he's a Sith, but more of a pratical, sane Sith than your typical dark-sider. I'd say he's True Neutral, looking out for himself above all others.
***** He does look out for people he deems worthy of saving. Once on Quesh, he saved several Republic miners instead of killing them. As for people like Thana Vesh, he would find intense gratification watching her suffer after the way she behaved. Another example was when he needed information from a Twi'lek dancer on Tatooine. After she sassed him telling she didn't know anything, he simply said "That wasn't the answer I was looking for." and shocked her until she confessed. Yeah, I say neutral because for all of his good qualities, he's got an equal amount of evil counteracting it. Some might call me a Gray Jedi, but more of a Gray Sith (if such a thing exists)
I wish there was an option to pull out a Pazaak deck. Karr: "No, I'm sure you're just here to play Pazaak." Sith: "Oh, do you play, too?" *Produces deck* Karr: *confusion and stunned silence* "Are...are you mocking me, Sith?" Sith: "No, I just appreciate a good game of cards every now and again. It breaks the monotony of constant violence." Karr: "I...am at a loss for words, Sith. But you still will not have Jaesa." Later, as Karr is about to start the duel... Sith: "Are you sure we can't settle this over a game of Pazaak?"
Be funny if the sith was half way through pulling the card out along with a bootle of fine wine. And bassicly has that look of “wait how did you know?” Lol imagine the Jedi’s reaction
Light Side Sith Warrior is my favorite playthrough in TOR, the reaction of all the Jedi you encounter is priceless. They're all just like "What... the fuck... is wrong with you?"
"I was told you Sith ate babies and used the skin of you enemies as cup holders." "N-no, wtf have been your masters been telling you? I've only ever seen a Sith Lord do that once."
Its' always a lol moment whenever I play Sith Warrior and get to the point when Yonloch says, "you twist the truth and manipulate weakness..." I'll be like, "dude! seriously? what's what you just did like 5 seconds ago, and you are accusing me?! who fought and won fair and square?!" The Jedi should seriously consider changing their code to "there is no emotion, there is sanctimony; there is no ignorance, there is hypocrisy..."
The Jedi Code has never said that a Jedi can't fight dirty. There's actually very little in the Code that proscribes "cheap" tactics, so long as they are not carried out due to things such as passion or attachments.
Frost the devil lies in their system. All Jedi have a breaking point, most Jedi bundle up their emotions and when they explode the rest of the order abandons them
Lightside Empire characters are simply the best and easily most immersive. My first playthrough was a lightside Sith Warrior. My second was a light-leaning neutral Imperial Agent (No, I didn't join the Republic at the end. I became a ghost and a Free Agent.) Both stories were great, and the lightside choice is often the more mature and logical. For instance, a darkside Sith Warrior just says "DIE JEDI RRRRAAAAAAGGGGGEEE" and that's pretty much it. All destruction, and a slave to your own murderous impulses. A "lightside" Sith would open discussion with Jedi foes, and debate with them the failure of Jedi philosophies. A dark Sith kills a Jedi. A "light" Sith causes Jedi to angrily forsake their own ideology before killing them. I don't think I could even play another class after the Agent though.
I went with a sassy Dark Side Inquisitor, but he would lean more towards the Light Side when Ashara was involved (and yes, he romanced Ashara as well). Basically to leave it open ended as to whether his romance with Ashara would ultimately "redeem" him or might instead drag Ashara down into darkness with him. Still irritated that the Inquisitor can't fully corrupt Ashara though, while the Warrior can fully corrupt Jaesa though.
Most of my imperials zig-zagged, for different reasons. Agent preferred subtlety and was focused on protecting the Empire and its citizens. Bounty hunter was an honorable professional, and Mako guilted him into sparing someone a few times. Warrior was ruthless but kept his word and preferred straight fights. Only my Inquisitor went full-on 100% dark side, which I felt worked pretty well for a slave suddenly given power and a high position.
The Light Side Sith just seems like an honourable "Dark Knight", far different than the comical thugs most show Sith as. Yet the two Jedi appeared eager to fight the Sith, while he wanted to negotiate, who deals in absolutes now?
Finbar Brolly He wants to abolish slavery in the Empire, and believes in alien equality/tolerance, which is a very light sided way of thinking about things. He's also known for being extremely honest and a man of his word, as well as having a disgust for excess (He never drank, I believe)
***** True, but you'll still have an easier time getting a sweat on Hoth than getting Malgus to admit it. P.S Probably couldn't drink that much after the respirator. Poor Guy.
I actually wanted to play light side with warrior because I thought it would be more interesting than a big bad murderer who cuts his way though his enemies to achieve his goals. This storyline surprised me in that it awarded me for my actions and intentions behind them. When I got to the Chapter 1 climax, I was overjoyed that the game actually cared about my choices, and gave meaning to them. I felt like everything I had done up until then had paid off, instead of a few cheap cutscenes where I was the good guy, but really had no lasting impact. This storyline is still my favorite to this day, and that will never change.
I always love playing a Dark/Light Side Sith Warrior. Someone who is extremely honor bound and prideful. Showing distaste in killing weaklings while cherishing killing strong opponents that put up a worthy fight. While having a strong sense of duty to the Empire. It was a fun playthrough.
Jaesas parents are something else First they wanted to marry her to royalty so they could have a good life, now they betray their daughter to live like kings 😂
Kinda sad they didn't allow courting with Jaesa if she's light. Almost like they sorta rushed the whole thing without getting everything in. *glares at EA*
***** for all we know the light sided sith warrior(s) were probably Jedi masters at one point and then defected they went with darkness but somehow kept their peaceful nature
me personally, i have a sith warrior who was taken from his family as a child by a sith lord cause they found out he was force sensitive and made him become a sith. Being with Vette and keeping the memory of his family with him keeps him from just losing it and embracing the dark side
***** Originally I had that same idea but heres how I thought it and still do in fact is that the warrior having felt that he wass indebted to Tremel but upon murdering him he unlike most sith hated that feeling and thus he started to become light sided while at first having difficulty using the dark side with calming kinder emotions he became a master at doing this by the time he left Dromund kaas
All these years later and I am so looking forward to seeing Jaesa in the story again. One of the biggest mistakes storywise they ever made was not including our apprentices / padawans in the expansions and supposedly they are adding a lightside romance for jaesa too.
I do wish you could romance her. I understand light side, but you are still a Sith and do not strictly follow light or dark side. I feel like both the character and Jaesa should be able to romance out of a genuine love because Jaesa also decided to leave the Jedi, thus abandoning their rules of marriage and love. Either that or tone down her dark side so at least it's not so freaky when she just goes all masochistic lovey on the character.
Well, that's the thing, even Jedi can get special dispensation to marry. There is a Jedi romance arc that does not require you to fall to the Dark Side just because you and your companion wish to find a little happiness like normal people.
+BOSS Star Wars has plenty of stories of Jedi falling to corruption, and the "rough soldier with a dark mind but who gets the job done" is a dime a dozen in video games. But to see someone honorable working for justice even though they are in an evil system is rare.
Seeing dark beings go good in the Star Wars Universe is heart warming, and heart breaking when they die by the hands of who were supposed to be their allies. Dark side republic, and or Jedi, aren't as entertaining because we've seen it before. I LOVE the Light side story of the Sith Warrior because of the Confliction. *SPOILER* When on tatooine and you fight your reflection, it's almost disturbing if you pick the denial options given to you. Great story writing, but as usual EA fucked up the game.
They should have made a special companion depending on light or dark side. There could have been more story. Or maybe daily mission check ins from past story.
that would be great if it was possible. wish i could go back to playing on the star wars old republic but my old pc died & learned by atempting to access that chrome is not accesiable to swtor which means have to wait to get a new pc. hopefully i don't have to wait till chrome dies to get a pc. wonder what the light & dark special companions would add to the stories.
I also regret having my sith warrior turn her to the dark side, especially after I made my sith warrior mostly light side by the end of Chapter Two of the storyline.

[swings lightsaber towards her neck] [gets stopped suddenly by SWTOR team] BioWare & EA teams: Hold it! You are *NOT* permitted to kill your future companions (anymore). Me: Why not?! Maybe I don't want her as my companion! Can't her companion slot could be filled with someone else? BioWare & EA teams: Good idea! Wait a minute, are you a subscriber? Me: Uhh...well I hope maybe one day I will but currently I lack the funds to- BioWare & EA teams: If you are a F2P moocher, we have no interest in giving you anything. Me: But I want to kill her now! BioWare & EA teams: And we care...why? You should just be glad that we're giving you 3 conversation choices instead of simply railroading you into saying something that sounds dumb the way we did with your Smuggler saying "Crackerjack" all the time. Goodbye. [leaves] Me: Oh fine. [looks at conversation choices] Eh, I don't like any of these. Jaesa Willsaam: You think you've got it bad? I have only one thing to say after you're done choosing! Nomen Karr: Will you hurry up already? I need to get ready for the next "Chosen" "Emperor's Wrath" warrior to repeat what you just did. Imperial Officer: Yeah, and its almost Tea-Time too. Let's wrap it up already. Me: [rolls eyes]
Jedi Knight who had a pleasant experience with Sith Warrior: Look all I’m saying is that he gets results. Yoda: Agreed. Chuck Norris: Agreed. How bout you Master Samuel L. Jackson? SLM: Yeah that motherfuckers cool.
The true strength lies beyond fear. There is only force. Fueling your emotion is easier than controlling it, but there is no reason to not seeking what beyond it.
I really wish the uploader chose to take the General's deal. Yes, it's more talking and running around, but the reaction of the Organa troops when a Sith shows up and thoroughly decimates their opposition is one of the highlights of the planet, at least for me.
I did in my Light Sith playthrough. This was during the beta of SW:TOR and I was testing some neutral choices rather than a 100% do-gooder peon to the enemy. It turns out it's either super light, super dark, or a bit dark. There really isn't a "good neutral" in most morality choices for Empire characters. This is also shown when Jaesa wants to see in your head.. As a Light/Neutral Sith, you're also aware your Empire companion Quinn is watching and taking note. Last thing you need is for him to report to Baras about your "betrayals". So I choose the middle choice "Don't see in my head" and my char responds with "Do it, and you're regret it!" ... Really neutral there.. lol.
I agree, that is a great scene. And there really is no down side because you are still killing Ulgo's troops. It's great content that a lot of people miss out on.
I feel the alignment system in this game is a bit of a failure, I made a Sith Warrior who would make decisions that make the Empire stronger, the Empire is evil with practices such as slavery not to mention they are ruled by a council of very evil Sith and the most evil being in the galaxy the emperor. So if I decide to not kill a group of scientists so they will join the empire in making weapons for the empire I shouldn't get a light-sided boost yet I do. Many situations like this to me don't make much sense.
...and that's why the Republic survived on for a few thousand more years without changing, and the reconstituted Sith Empire didn't. If everyone in the Sith Empire is blindly murdering, sabotaging, and harming one another, the system will collapse, and it will collapse _hard_.
It's not failure. You read "not to kill the group" and press it to make an allies. Another player press this because of mercy. The same words and different meaning for different players. Bioware can't predict your motivations, nobody can. So you can't call it a failure.
Константин Садовский i think that what you said is a clear example of why the system is a failure. Bioware cant predict but it trys to deciding that if you kill is evil and if you spare is kind regardless of the motivations.
If only a Sith Lord could have more then one apprentice and created an army of light leading Sith to over throw the true Sith and Dark Side enforcers I Count Devago will lead my followers to victory.
That's technically what you do when you become the commander of the alliance also sith csn hsve more than one apprentice this is before the rule of two and thd inquisitor has two apprentices Ashara and Xalex
It's videos like these that made me download this game to begin with. Knowing I can play a Sith without being a hammy Saturday morning cartoon villain sealed it.
@Halabz That is a tough question. I've played both to the end of their class stories as light side. The Sith Warrior offers more story-altering choices as Light-Side. However, the Inquisitor takes the cake when it comes to the ending. The Light-Side Inquisitor ending is the most ironic and fascinating conclusion for an advocating alignment. I can't wait to continue my Light Inquisitor's story, once Bioware adds more Acts.
The way I did my warrior was as a merciless killing machine, but one with an ability to show respect for his opponents, up until Tattooine, where in perfectly retracing the steps of "the Jedi Padawan" started to have a shift in the force. That, and Vette rubbing off on him. Be he still battled his mirror, and killed the master on Tattooine, believing that he was too far gone to be pulled back to the light. But even when he killed the master, he let him commune with the force and find peace, sending him off with his highest respects. From then on, he changed more. On the surface, he played the role of the murderous sith so as to keep his crew safe. But when given the chance to let his guard down, he showed that he was slowly being redeemed by the light. His first REAL act of defiance against the darkside would be at General Organa's stronghold. There, I listened to her plea and went to defend her front that was about to fall, inspiring her soldiers as well. It wouldn't be until he was frozen in carbonite for 5 years that he'd truly get his chance to shine. Now displaying true balance in the force, light and dark together, he united the galaxy against a common foe.
The dark sided Sith options sometimes are ridiculous and Jaesa is nuts. I mean Sith are evil but they are not all off the walls "kill everything" like she is. They made her the ultimate caricature of a dark sider
+autumrose1 I think it's because she's been so terribly repressed and mistreated her whole life that when you pull away the Jedi code from her and show that it was all a lie, she has no moral compass to guide her whatsoever, and she's never learned to think ahead. "Yeah, you can kill someone right now, but what if letting them live means they can help you later?" seems to be beyond her thought processes on the dark side.
It's an interesting twist to the story: two light side "siths" infiltrated in the Empire, trying to change it. But it's a lost cause. Siths are dark by nature and the call of the dark side is a one way trip.
It's not a lost cause. Look How powerful Grey Jedis are. Examples are Kyle Katarn from the New Republic Era and Revan. Hell even Darth Malgus isn't Irrational like majority of the Siths are. I am always Pro-Imperial but the Empire needs to change. At Some point, both the jedi order and the sith have to admit their follies that combining both teachings is the way.
I remember getting a twitter reply 6 yrs ago from the dev who wrote Jaesa's companion story. He said they had no plans for that "cause Jaesa's a good jedi". I'm annoyed that they added it long after I quit the game for good. From the clips I've seen, I'm not that impressed by how random it's revealed. Just a side conversation of "Yea I've been in love with you this whole time, btw. Kisses...??"
tigasnake I'll be honest it feels like they just kinda slapped her romance in just to please the fans of this. I for one didn't mind, but they should have kept to their guns and develop her more lol
I love to make ideas for stories and have multiple interactions that are and aren't cannon. I do love, how despite the game not being up to it's full potential but it's still cool! Love the lightsaber fight cutscenes, wish there were more.
I know this might be late to the game, but it's kinda hard to believe that the person that voices Jaesa is the English dub voice of Tifa Lockhart (then again you have Solid Snake voicing the male Jedi Knight, so in retrospect I really shouldn't be that surprised)
watching light side sith playthrus just makes you realize the empire would have never lost if the sith were reasonable and not cartoonishly evil in the current stories. Like most people would agree with a rational sith, and they don't even know it because all siths are bat shit insane.
My favorite part of being light-sided Sith: Making the Jedi look like TOTAL hypocrites. Me: I'm offering a solution without bloodshed. :D Jedi: Lies! Sith are manipulative and evil! Now die! Me: *Facepalm*
hey man i just wanted to say thanks for uploading all these i have really enjoyed watching them. I play a smuggler and was shocked to find out that risha knew vette. i hope you upload more from other classes!!!! thanks again!
being the pure light-sided sith that i am with 0 dark-side points, and all highest value light-side choices taken whenever possible, spared and was kind to everyone in my search for Jaesa, i didn't suggest for her to use her power on master Karr, but allowed her to do so on me when master Karr ordered her to look into my heart. "i see... mercy... kindness... and even... compassion? you walk the path of light!". i've had master Karr sent to the jedi order for rehab. "his connection to the force is flawed." it's like playing jedi among sith, right under the nose of the dark-side. to me, the light-sided sith im playing is - as i say - "soooo deliciously ironic"
***** He was always honest and kept his promises, he believed in racial equality in the Empire which was unheard of, and he fought for the good of the Empire rather than himself. He wasn't a hero, but he wasn't evil either.
how the hell Vette gains affection while knocked out? what the hell, Quyn i can understand, but a jedi master fighting dirty, now i respect them even less
joku54567 nevermind i googled it, so, the Jedi refused to continue his training after he was proven not to be as strong as his mother, what fucking assholes, General Grievous didn't have the force and owned everyone in a fair fight (don't even get me started on Mace Windu, he crushed his lungs and his level of scumbaggery towards Ahsoka was insulting)
***** I for one would not want to be a emotionless droid. I also would not give up my child for the order. The Sith may be assholes but at least they are up front about it. And the jedi basically mind raped Revan. Let us not forget how way way back that the jedi and republic commited genocide of the sith.
I really appreciate these videos, i'm a strictly casual player when it comes to ToR and these videos give me a chance to see the different story telling options available that I would not normally get a chance to do due to the time given to me. Thank You and please keep making more :)
The way the Light Warrior makes it sound is that the heart of the Empire must be confronted and beaten. He mentions to Jaesa that various Light Sith would help when the time comes to "make their move." As a Light Inquisitor, it's much more subtle and cunning. Peace with the Empire requires political reformation so that many things cannot go unpunished (like a Sith killing a cruiser full of people because he didn't get a free pass). The inquisitor hopes that the Empire crumbles from within.
Honestly, light side Sith seems boring. The thing that i love most about the sith warrior history is the constant oportunity to twist the Jedi morals againt and for me the dark side end of chapter 1 is just perfect. I admit that going 100% dark side option is just stupid but the same to going 100% light and forgiving all those future enemies that could cause you or other empire trouble. I prefer to go 85% dark side until rank IV (red eyes!) chosing light side only where the option seems smart or the dark side was stupid.....sometimes i go for the neutral option (when i have) because neither one convince me .
@@eivorofthenorth Agreed. I just started playing yesterday. I'm playing with my own mind up backstory and history for the character. He's vicious to his enemies, but seeks diplomacy to those who are willing to talk. Turned the assassin over to Imperial intelligence, gave the sith a death in combat, and let the ex-forger go free, because my character believed that it was the right thing to do. Helped the Jedi escape and told him of the information he was given was a trap. However, should someone raise their blade at him, he will not show mercy nor let them live after. Well mainly any sith that do.
now I imagine the same situation but with Darth Vader, I wonder how he would handle taking on Jaesa Willsaam as an apprentice in this time vs in his when he took on Starkiller.
It's actually funny how much damage is done simply because Jedi can't believe that there's a sith that is not on a killing spree. The Sith-Warrior light side story is my most favorite out of all force user stories. The sith warrior actually becomes good out and is not bound by the restrictions of the jedi and also not bound to the Empires agenda by loyalty, it is actually expected of Sith to go against their masters at some point. This said, I would claim that the light side Sith warrior is actually even the good guy compared with the light side Jedi.
You play light side sith to be a good person I play light side sith to do the most evil thing possible and confuse jedi into having an existential crisis We are not the same.
I have watched a handful of your videos for information I was looking for; it is uncanny how similarly we have played through the game, even down to the gear you had at any given moment and your character design and dialogue choices.
Sentinel there is a potential reason why he is doing that i mean he could have gotten his hand cut off way before and got a new one but did not install the nerve functions into it
Stealthyhunter If that's the case, the fact that he didn't get that fixed makes me wonder if he accidentally cut his own hand. Either way, it's still not very bright of him
Sentinel well maybe he did not want to on purpose thinking it would make him stronger or heck it could be a new model and it's experimental that and he could probably be not used to having no feeling in his right hand so he didn't know he was doing that
I love how the whole playthrough is just

Shame light side shit is so boring =/
Someone describe my character:
He acts more on his own moral standards and personal interests.
*****
Okay, I'll be sure to check them out.
*****
He does look out for people he deems worthy of saving.

I'll be like, "dude! seriously? what's what you just did like 5 seconds ago, and you are accusing me?! who fought and won fair and square?!" The Jedi should seriously consider changing their code to "there is no emotion, there is sanctimony; there is no ignorance, there is hypocrisy..."

The Jedi Code has never said that a Jedi can't fight dirty. There's actually very little in the Code that proscribes "cheap" tactics, so long as they are not carried out due to things such as passion or attachments.

The Light Sith. He knows what he wants, he won’t stop until he gets it, but he sees no need to be _mean_ about it.
24:10 the fact that the middle option is LITERALLY "cry more" is hilarious and brings me much joy.
Lightside Empire characters are simply the best and easily most immersive.
My first playthrough was a lightside Sith Warrior.
My second was a light-leaning neutral Imperial Agent (No, I didn't join the Republic at the end. I became a ghost and a Free Agent.)
Both stories were great, and the lightside choice is often the more mature and logical.
How do you become a free agent?

Starkiller and Revan are fine examples.
Finbar Brolly Malgus is another example.

I like how most of the Jedi are like “Hmm you seem like a good sith” then turn around and attack you anyway

Damn you Darth Syphalis!
Light side sith characters have the best stories, dark side republic characters suck. Why is this?
I think since most of the franchise is republic, we are more interested in the sith side of things.
+Lucifer Con Empire overall had the best storylines, though I did enjoy my pure Dark Side Jedi Consular.
James Wood I'm thinking of starting this game. How did EA screw it up? I mainly want to play some of the plotlines, is it worth it?
Also I love Vette, more than Jaesa all the way. Reason why? I met Dark Jaesa first ...
How??
Because it’s typical of Sith to take Dark Side route, and that typically means corrupting Jaesa.

You're not suppose to make decisions based on how much light side or dark side points you get.
BioMatic2 agree
If only a Sith Lord could have more then one apprentice and created an army of light leading Sith to over throw the true Sith and Dark Side enforcers I Count Devago will lead my followers to victory.
I would stick to the gray.
Neither side appeals to me.
I live the idea of a sith like this so much more then I thought I would
Light side sith, but leaves the shock collar on his companion lol.
I've always admire the light side to stories such as these.
"Yeah, you can kill someone right now, but what if letting them live means they can help you later?" seems to be beyond her thought processes on the dark side.
same for my jedi knight XD

I'm really glad I turned Jaesa to the dark side. It's cool how she went from completely innocent to a sadistic, blood thirsty Sith.
Light Side Sith Warriors give me an honorable samurai vibe.
I just love being a “light side” sith
Love hearing the reactions from everyone
I love to make ideas for stories and have multiple interactions that are and aren't cannon. I do love, how despite the game not being up to it's full potential but it's still cool! Love the lightsaber fight cutscenes, wish there were more.
I know this might be late to the game, but it's kinda hard to believe that the person that voices Jaesa is the English dub voice of Tifa Lockhart (then again you have Solid Snake voicing the male Jedi Knight, so in retrospect I really shouldn't be that surprised)
Which jedi?
Austin Vargas The Jedi Knight class (if you play as a male)
+Francis Zaldivar and Naomi Hunter's Voice actress voices Jedi Master Satele Shan
James Scarborough Yeah I knew that, she's also the Female Trooper, Bastila Shan in KOTOR, and Aeyla Secura in The Clone Wars
really late but she is also female Commander Shepherd
watching light side sith playthrus just makes you realize the empire would have never lost if the sith were reasonable and not cartoonishly evil in the current stories. Like most people would agree with a rational sith, and they don't even know it because all siths are bat shit insane.
Love her light side story, but it's a shame you can't romance her..😒
Ikr
Maybe in Knights of the Eternal Throne
true
THATS THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!! Why can’t u romance her
You can romance her now...
My favorite part of being light-sided Sith: Making the Jedi look like TOTAL hypocrites.
Me: I'm offering a solution without bloodshed. :D
Jedi: Lies! Sith are manipulative and evil! Now die!
Me: *Facepalm*
I mean, usually this is coming after you've just carved a bloody swath through everyone between you and said Jedi...
And the same happens as a Jedi so...
After so much light, too bad he can't turn to the light side and leave the Empire, he could be something in between the two powers
Jedi: "only sith deals in absolutes"
Also Jedi * use absolutes as an excuse to attack sith *
I love this video about Jaesa Willsaam Light Sith.
hey man i just wanted to say thanks for uploading all these i have really enjoyed watching them. I play a smuggler and was shocked to find out that risha knew vette. i hope you upload more from other classes!!!! thanks again!
Another Light Sided Sith? I praise you! Especially since we made some of the same choices. :)
being the pure light-sided sith that i am with 0 dark-side points, and all highest value light-side choices taken whenever possible, spared and was kind to everyone in my search for Jaesa, i didn't suggest for her to use her power on master Karr, but allowed her to do so on me when master Karr ordered her to look into my heart. "i see... mercy... kindness... and even... compassion? you walk the path of light!". i've had master Karr sent to the jedi order for rehab. "his connection to the force is flawed." it's like playing jedi among sith, right under the nose of the dark-side. to me, the light-sided sith im playing is - as i say - "soooo deliciously ironic"
its really weird seeing a nice Sith, its a bit unnerving
Malgus and Revan were good.
***** i mean the way they speak all nice and friendly.
***** He was always honest and kept his promises, he believed in racial equality in the Empire which was unheard of, and he fought for the good of the Empire rather than himself. He wasn't a hero, but he wasn't evil either.
@@TheMovieDoctorful A good man means well, they just don't always end up doing well
38:35 Why does this line remind me of Kreia.
I also liked the expansion they gave it in "Darth Plagueis." Great book, and wonderful insight into Sith philosophy
well its been years now and stil no romance option (light side)
smh.
Dark side is so much more exiting :)
Plus the daily doctor visits for AIDS with bedding Jaesa makes it more thrilling doesn't it?
Person: Noooo spare me!
Sith: K.
Person: Wait that’s illegal..
This playthrough in a nutshell.
how the hell Vette gains affection while knocked out? what the hell, Quyn i can understand, but a jedi master fighting dirty, now i respect them even less
I stopped respecting the jedi when Revan's story came to light. and what Satele did to her own son
joku54567 wait, what did she do?
joku54567 nevermind i googled it, so, the Jedi refused to continue his training after he was proven not to be as strong as his mother, what fucking assholes, General Grievous didn't have the force and owned everyone in a fair fight (don't even get me started on Mace Windu, he crushed his lungs and his level of scumbaggery towards Ahsoka was insulting)
*****
I for one would not want to be a emotionless droid. I also would not give up my child for the order. The Sith may be assholes but at least they are up front about it. And the jedi basically mind raped Revan. Let us not forget how way way back that the jedi and republic commited genocide of the sith.
joku54567 exactly, when they do it, it's right, for justice or whatever and when the sith do it, they're evil? hypocrites
He mentions to Jaesa that various Light Sith would help when the time comes to "make their move."
As a Light Inquisitor, it's much more subtle and cunning. Peace with the Empire requires political reformation so that many things cannot go unpunished (like a Sith killing a cruiser full of people because he didn't get a free pass). The inquisitor hopes that the Empire crumbles from within.
Darth Baras: "There is no denying you are a master of the dark arts!"
Light Sith: "lol, k"
shes like a child
Damn straight
Danny Bonneville Yeah, Kira does much better than Jaesa when she faced the Dark Side
She's not much different from Ashara Zavros.
+Danny Bonneville She IS a child.
Loved this, thank you for making it.
I prefer to go 85% dark side until rank IV (red eyes!) chosing light side only where the option seems smart or the dark side was stupid.....sometimes i go for the neutral option (when i have) because neither one convince me
.
i play my sith warrior exactly the same way because these choices make the story more interesting, going only one side seems boring
50 percent light and 50 percent dark. How bout that?
now I imagine the same situation but with Darth Vader, I wonder how he would handle taking on Jaesa Willsaam as an apprentice in this time vs in his when he took on Starkiller.
You play light side sith to be a good person
I play light side sith to do the most evil thing possible and confuse jedi into having an existential crisis
We are not the same.
@evilmage567 I'm still a Sith. We go to the same gym. We just use different machines.
@ARavingLooony It's an MMO, chief. The graphics are stylized and meant to scale for low end to high end computers.
6:38 Says he’s a sith but he has a blue lightsaber lol
Apparently Saber Color is independent of alignment... Red Crystals are just easy to create
I have watched a handful of your videos for information I was looking for; it is uncanny how similarly we have played through the game, even down to the gear you had at any given moment and your character design and dialogue choices.
11:49 that has got to be one of the dumbest people ever. I mean who runs up to a sith while his lightsaber is out?
+Stealthyhunter What about at 12:12 when the Jedi practically has his thumb in the beam of his own lightsaber?
Sentinel
there is a potential reason why he is doing that i mean he could have gotten his hand cut off way before and got a new one but did not install the nerve functions into it
Stealthyhunter If that's the case, the fact that he didn't get that fixed makes me wonder if he accidentally cut his own hand. Either way, it's still not very bright of him
Sentinel
well maybe he did not want to on purpose thinking it would make him stronger or heck it could be a new model and it's experimental that and he could probably be not used to having no feeling in his right hand so he didn't know he was doing that
Stealthyhunter Yeah, he doesn't need to worry about that, it's not like you need a thumb to hold a lightsaber anyways right?
This is the same way I played the warrior. Really enjoyed it
