Bruh I love IFs. I actually started an IF force as my first army, but kinda gave up on it for 3 months because they didn't have enough character in my opinion. Then I considered actually looking up their lore before I make conclusions. Thinking bout building first company✊
Interesting that even Garro, the loyalist Death Guard captain, thought the Fists and the Ultramarines were miserable sods. Or that Corax has to tell his senior officer to stand down because ‘he’s an Imperial Fist - he can’t help it.’
To attempt reunification of the Legions is madness, not because of rebellious command risks but because of the dangers of Blood mixing. The later chapters' geneseeds have in many cases changed from those of the original Legions, and of the parent Chapters. If, say, among the Chapters who contributed to the reinforcements to the BAngels or Fists there was one missing an organ or had a mutated one, this could spread to the entirety of the parent chapter, definitely altering its genepool until fresh, purer samples could be collected from the Primarch. The Imperial Fists are already missing two organs, how many more do you want to lack ?
This was well done! I have a small force of Fists but not a great deal of info on their companies, etc. what are your thoughts on multiple companies fighting together vs single company deployment? Would members of the first company be primes or first born marines only?

I've often thought that 1000 marines per chapter and 1000 chapters seems unrealistically few, when you think of the size of the galaxy. Multiply by 10 and it seems more believable.
In your infinite knowledge of the chapter, which company would you say would lean the most towards infantry instead of the typical artillery and siege equipment?
The Imperial Fist were destroyed in the war of the Beast and are a first founding Chapter in name only. Since then they’ve been made up of successors chapters gene stock, even the Soul Drinkers gene seed. So are they really Imperial Fist anymore or are they tainted.

The shame of forsaking their imperium and emperor could only be mended by suffering and through suffering they were reborn as a mightier and stronger legion. They did not fight to win but to better them selves.

I found a way : use contrast Iyanden yellow, then dry brush with averland sunset. Bam.

Corax believed the Imperial Fists and Iron Warriors were very stubborn and unyielding. Good for sieges and defense, but not much else.
