I would not use Tin cure silicone to make a mould because there is the risk to inhibit the curing of the prosthetics made of platinum silicone, even using encapsulator.
Thanks for pointing that out! You're right-tin-cure silicone can inhibit platinum-cure prosthetics, even with encapsulators. We'll consider using platinum-cure silicone for molds in the future to avoid this issue. Appreciate the feedback!
We used Monster Makers clay to sculpt the prosthetic and Sculptex medium clay to build the mold wall. While you can use Monster Makers clay to build the mold wall, it's softer and more pliable than Sculptex, which may make it less ideal for creating strong, rigid walls. The mold wall might not stay in place as well, especially when handling large pieces or complex molds. If you want firmer support, sticking with a clay like Sculptex or another firmer oil-based clay would be better for mold walls. Hope this helps!
Excellent tutorial. I wish I the budget to create my own prosthetics.
Is it possible to create encapsulated silicone prosthetics in a cement/plaster mold?
What flocking powder did you use?

If i have a beard can I still apply these masks to my face?
Yes, but we recommend applying prosthetics to a clean, shaven face for best results.
Can i use the same clay to build the wall?
