ive always thought cordy was a great character, always trying to be an in crowd asshole, but every once in a while unable to keep from doing something great. and she hated herself whenever she did anything good.

Willow is afraid of herself, Giles on the other hand has control over his actions when it comes to dealing with unnatural forces. Willow is always sort of like "I'm afraid to use my power, or do anything bad, I might turn evil". While Giles straight up murdered a man and was like "it had to be done". It's actually my favourite scene with him. The man just does what needs to be done, morality and legality aside, but he, we could say hypocritically, guides others so that they wouldn't stray from their morality.

He got the time and experience to no longer go there while she is way younger and less experiences so obviousy she is not at the same point at the same time. Its fascinating how different each character is xD With time stuff kind of blurs together, but then you rewatch it. Cordelia and Anya kinda fulfill the same role, and had the same quirks...yet they are so different on their motivations and on their delivery. Such a fun show to watch, always.
That entire scene in Dopplegangland where Willow tries to pass herself off as VampWillow had me laughing so hard I was crying. And the expression on Oz's face when she does the little wave to him almost had me crying anyway. Don't get me wrong, I shipped the hell out of Willow and Tara, but the Willow / Oz scenes are great too. I don't think Willow being with a girl after they broke up takes from that relationship at all.
wiloz is my all time fav ship but i do love tara as well (in s5 & 6) and wiloz was suppose to be a couple for the series but seth green wanted to pursue different roles
I kinda wish they had went with Xander being gay instead, because that would have let them keep the willow/oz relationship and kept Oz in the show longer, but I can see how making the main male character gay in a female heavy cast would alienate some male viewers..
Yeah I think if the show was made today Willow would be bi, since that means her relationship with Oz was still 'valid' I guess (Plus all that stuff with Xander) However, I accept that having a female bi character at that time would definitely play into the 'lesbianism is just a phase' attitude at the time. Also, I mean we're talking early 2000s - Having a gay character was the epitome of progressive so we can't really expect them to have done much more.
What about that scene when they are talking about defeating The Gentlemen and Buffy tries to mimic "staking them" and everyone thinks wrong of it? man, that's the funniest scene on the show 😂
2:20 when Giles hugs Willow awe 🤗...then I remember there spat when she resurrected Buffy he called her a rank arrogant amature 😖...then the full blown battle between the two of them 😱. Man thinking of all that and remembering this scene 😢.
Wow I never realised how freakin funny Xander and Willow really are until I started re-watching these!! Seeing things through adult eyes gives you a very different perspective! lol
I think there could have been a bit more Spike (because when can you ever get enough of his effulgence?), Dru and Angel/Angelus but otherwise this was a hilarious video which is making me itch to rewatch the first 4 seasons... Ahh, when things were simple and Buffy had only died once.
I feel there are great life lessons learned through this show. More disappointed I could not be that Netflix is removing Buffy and Angel on 4/1/17. Very bummed.
Why do they never include the exchange between Oz and Willow when he finds out he's a werewolf and says asks her if she can continue to date him even though he'll have to be locked up once a month and she replies:"Well, I like you. You're nice and you're funny. And you don't smoke. Yeah, okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month I'm not much fun to be around either."
Even better when she first tells the others that Oz is a werewolf: "He said he was going through all these changes and then he went through all these changes!"
