Never known a band to pay such beautiful homage to where they come from
Really? Pretty much every band has a song about their hometown.
@@Healer1515 "such beautiful homage"
For real they're amazing. 2020!!
This makes me miss Hunstanton, and I've never even been there. Gold.
Yep. Here again.
whatever mood im in - this grounds me
I could never get sick of this song, one of my favourites.
Hi, six years later, but same! I even use this song as my alarm!
@@Curezmfker 6 years later and it’s still one of my favourites!
@@vickyhughes93479 years later???????
Never getting tired of Deaf Havana
its not very often you watch a music video and have memories of being in the place's they are yourself, well done deaf havana
I was born in RAF Sculthorpe. My mom and dad lived on Cliff Parade.Hunstanton is my favorite place in the world,I hope it never lose its charm. The Wash and Lighthouse,Abbey remainsand the fishnchip shop there had the best cod..........This song brings a tear its so beautiful!
There were 20 people watching Deaf havana yesterday at soundwave. I knew everyone of them and the band did not look one bit dissapointed at our performance and neither did we to theirs.
Best band the UK has ever produced imo
It's weird, I know so many of these people, this video makes me grateful to live in Hunstanton..
My amazing grandad recently passed away and he used to take me down to hunstanton beach all the time when i stayed with them and i honestly used to have the best times of my life there with just him and i wont lie this video brought tears to my eyes and i miss him tons, ive seen these boys come from playing Witham springlodge and Colchester twist to really hitting it big time and they still never forget where the come from and who got them there,BIG UP Hunstanton and the Deaf boyos.much love.
I like this song, and figured the video would result in a sort of overview of James' childhood which was what this matched up to perfectly.
the girl with the red top and shades outside the kiosk is FITTTT!
Can't believe I've only just heard this song on kerrang, it's so good. I've been to Hunstanton practically every year of my life, multiple times a year. It's such a great place to be. Even had my first and second mates teenager holiday there in a lovely chalet behind golden sands.. can't wait to go back this year...
One of the best songes ever.
been feeling crap all night and as soon as this song started i started crying:(
this video makes me cry i don't know why
major props to the band and the director
I heard this song about six months ago and it was the first song of their I'd heard and since then I literally haven't stopped listening to them. I bought all their stuff and they quickly became my favourite band of all time ever. I just wish I'd known them for longer and I really hope they keep making music!!
This song is one of the reasons why I hate growing up/older, because you'll miss good old days. You'll miss your friends, you won't feel as free as when you were young, you'll miss those places that you used to go to with people you loved.
I'm away from home and this song gets me every time I listen to it.
Me and my ex were gonna move here. We went on a day trip a few month back to get a feel for it, i'd never been before and i thought it would be a nice place to settle down because we both loved the coast. When we split and i was packing my stuff to move back home this video came on scuzz and it was a sad moment but i really liked the song. Just bought the album and its awesome, so good to hear a decent british band!
I live by Hunstanton and go to Smithdon High School. After watching this I realised I forgot just how beautiful Norfolk is. Proud to live here
You have great taste if you are watching this. Criminally under-rated and under-played.
The last hollidays i went to the coast to see my grandma, she bought me a guitar, and the first song i played was this, the last week she died in an accident.Hunstanton Pier is a song that means SO much for me every melody and word for this song are made for me,I love you grandma, i will miss you so much ♥
This is a really good tourism video. It sells the town pretty well. I actually miss Norfolk, despite how much James seems to hate it.
Hunstanton has the most beautiful sunset ever i promise you
Its so strange watching this video. I used to spend a lot of my summers in Hunstanton as a child, 'Sunny Hunny' we used to call it. Seeing people you recognise and places you've been mean so much to somebody else. Priceless.
Miss my home Norfolk, live on the Isle of Man for the past 15 years, I go back when I can, my family are just the other side of Cromer
Much love from Norwich :)
@@MisterD90x thanks mate
I grew up in Cromer, I miss the place. Never get down much these days.
D.H deserve more recognition, top band
the greatest band that i heard in a long time !
the best band in the world!! roll on april!
Couldn’t believe it when I found this on Spotify. Turns out home turf songs hit hard!😭 😁 Left years ago with no regrets, but this is definitely a real find for me. Thank You Deaf Havana❣️
It annoys me when people hate on bands because they might go "mainstream", Deaf Havana deserves to be, dont see why anybody wouldnt want the rest of the world to hear such an amazing band.
best band to come out for a long while
the first time i saw deaf havana is when they supported YMAS, and then i saw them at reading festival.. and they had improved so much! :)
i gotta say i'm crying here, a whole album never saved my life before but FAWL did and it will always be special for me.
This video made me realise why I love living in Hunstanton. Made me cry tbh :')
This one reminds me of my best friend who died in 2013. So this song got me in tears over and over again.
This song and Hollow Crown by Architects are just perfect anthems for hordes of cost-dwelling youths who have moved away (I did so for university) and miss the hell out of the place they were initially so eager to leave. Such a great song.
This is how you make a perfect music video. Have no relation to Hunstanton yet I've got tears in my eyes too! I'm about to leave my hometown of Folkestone for Uni, might be that too.
Damn, they make Hunstanton look really good.
Not much makes you proud of Hunstanton when you live there, but this certainly does!
This is one of their best songs because it has so many feelings in it, it's all about their homeland and that makes me cry a little
Great song, singer, and a really good real life real people video.
Perfect for a norfolk lad back for summer, Cheers boys!
Had my Deaf Havana shirt on all morning, and boom, new video!
3:17 is me!!! :)
11 years older
Due beste Band die es gibt! Hammer Stimme , hammer Texte, hammer Persöhnlichkeiten! Meine absolute Lieblingsband. Ich bin so froh, dassnich sie gefunden habe und dankbar für jeden Song den sie rausbringen. Vor allem aber für den! :)
Danke Deaf Havana! Für diese hammer Musik!
For the love of god, put this song on spotify. PLEEEEEEASE
Up
Forever young! Never leave them young memories alone to be forgotten!
DEAF HAVANA RULE!
this is probably one of the most beatuful, heartfelt videos they've ever made :')
huge well done to Duncan Rice, the director.
Thanks Deaf Havana.
I'm from a town near Brighton but I recently moved to Swansea for university; I love it here but I do get really homesick. This song just reminds me of the amazing summers we have in Hove and how much the place means to me.
What a great song and video. Hunstanton rock! This should have been the Millennium Anthem for the town. I'm told one of those involved was in my A Level Media Studies group at the local High School- he taught me everything I know! - but the singer is surely the little brother. Fabulous work: A stars all round.
Just listening to this banger whilst chilling in Hunstanton. Such an awesome place glad it's got the tribute it deserves
The most beautiful thing I have ever watched.
Goosebumps. Only thing I can say.
i Live in Hunstanton, i would like to point out that this video was taken in real life, that means there is no scenes or anything made up. So it was just how it happened that you couldn't see that many people of both colours!. And why you put a comment like this on an amazing song and video like this will always puzzle me! You rock Deaf Havana!
I grew up in east anglia, i relate to this song, some of it is very apt i think for anyone with half a brain and the gift of self awareness. Many have either sadly.I can't believe I am only just hearing this band now :/ I have been in a rough place these last 2 years , so i guess a little out of the loop, but thse guys are amazing! And the first band i have fallen in love with for a time. James is outstanding and kinda intriguing, and they all are just funny goofs and as a band truly captivating
Awesome to see a band really caring about where they come form and giving something back, great visuals !
This song and the video is so good at making me cry.
I love how this song relates to me in a way. I live in a town where there's pretty much nothing to do and it's boring all the time. But I'll always never forget the place where I was born and raised.
Listening to this song after 8 years hits something different. Growing up in the area it puts life in to perspective and all makes sense now
Simple, this band is my favourite, no questions asked. They’re music is perfect. I love Hunstanton, I’ve grown up spending every holiday and weekend there that I can and I have so many memories wrapped up in that place. This song will always mean so much to me.
Still my all time favourites bands, every song is perfectly shaped to fit my life.
Best romantic week end ever! That town is.. magic!
James and the lads just get cooler and cooler, Perfect video for this song =]
Wow! Saw this on Scuzz last night. Used to spend lots of time at Sunny Hunny as a kid, this vid brings back all those memories. Well down fellas - you rock!
They make Hunstanton look so good in this video
Haha! This song sums up Hunstanton, King's Lynn and Norfolk in general so well.
This song is quite literally breath taking.
Probably my favourite song, from what is definitely one of the best albums I've ever heard.
wow what a wonderful view of a place that i take for granted, i have all this on my doorstep, i've met most if not all of the people in this video a few times.
Amazing song and beautiful video.
Hunstanton is the best place! Made a habit of going every year and always listen to these on the sea front
Grew up in this town! Makes me want to move back more than ever now!
deaf havana+timelapses=my hilight of life
Whenever I think Deaf Havana couldn't get any better, they go and do something like this. So much love for this song & video.
Saw them at Soundwave on Sunday. I never thought I'd ever be able to see them live, but it happened and having James point at me because i was belting out the lyrics made me so damn happy, I can't even explain it. Super happy that they played this song too.
Amazing song amazing lyrics, my nana and grandad use to take me to hunny all the time. I now work there on the fair ground! Ur friend christian gt me listening to ur songs! Bt this one means the most to me! Ive posted it on fb for all to c too :-D truly amazing :-D x
Deaf Havana needs more viewers , fans, everything they deserved and worked for it... and i think this is the best band in the world, the lyrics are amazing, truthful and meaningful. this is the only band which i havent got bored of for about 3 years, and they never fail to make an amazing song, i know all the words from this whole album wich more people should buy. The name Deaf Havana should be known throughout the world, because they deseve and worked hard for it. Thank you Deaf Havana.
Like this ^ although it doesn't help the grief, it deserves the recognition.
This is so beautiful I want to cry.
Many, many memories in Hunstanton. This is my favourite thing in the world!
Courtney Preston what memories ??? is ghost town
THIS SONG IS NOW BEING USED TO ADVERTISE HUNSTANTON! AND I WANNA GO THERE!
Best song ever.
Another perfect video for a perfect band!
this video will eventually have a million views...this video was well created
A beautiful video, and a beautiful song.
This song is so personal and beautiful. I love it. I put it up in my favorites by Ed Sheeran's Wake Me Up..... I love songs that you can truly feel what the writer did. Beautiful. Deaf Havana should be right up there with Ed in the charts too, the deserve it.
Wohooo! Hunstanton my home!
this is one of those songs that every time you listen to it, it just gets better and better :)
it's pretty surreal watching this video because I recognise everything so well, I live just near Hunstanton and I've been visiting this place all my life. such a beautiful song too :') also, I had no idea my cousin was in this video but he's there at 1:40 on the right, what a proud moment ;)
Still listening to this in 2022. One of the best songs ever!
Its so weird seeing these places again, spend almost every weekend of my childhood here!
This is hands down the best track on Fools and Worthless Liars. Have the CD stuck on repeat in the car. Well done lads, keep up the good work!
Feel like i'm watching an episode of coast, awesome video guys
Every song.... Every.frickin'.song. Is amazing. I love you deaf havana!!
