As far as I understand, the device records the first temperature in that hour. For example, at 15:00 my room was 30 degrees, but it was recorded as 34.2. Could it be recording the peak value because it happens between 14:00-15:00? Because I compared it with other thermometers and the instantaneous values were correct.
Thanks for the video, do you know how many devices can be connected to one mobile phone? I am asking because i am thinking to follow around 20-25 of this device at the same time.
It’s because it hasn’t been paired to a hub. I’ve tried paring it up, but never saw anything on the hub paring page. That means, no automations are possible
Does anyone know how to export data or access them to copy paste to a spreadsheet? Tried it on Xiaomi website, but it only display the device name after logging in. Appreciate any ideas from anyone. Many Thanks 🙏
I have a question about the monitoring... My sensor will be located at my baby's bedroom and connected via bluetooh to my cellphone. Question: Can I check the temperature of the bedroom, at the same time, if I'm far from my house? Example when I'm at work, 10 km far from my house.. Can I check the temperature on my baby's room during the day? If not, do you know any device that could do this function? Thanks in advance for helping me.
Unfortunately no, if you see at minute 7:45 the icons on his phone shows this device, there is a Bluetooth icon, this has a line out (that means disconnected). You can confirm this looking at the device, the BT icon is not showing on the device (go to minute 4:50 and look at it). Basically, you can see the temperature when you are close to the room (to be able to connect to the device). This is what is happening to me (I bought 2 and can't return it now). If you have the Aqara Hub (the gateway), I do recommend you to get the ZIGBEE version (no screen), you will have connection using the app outside your house (using wifi or your cellphone data)
You would need to get a Xiaomi Smart Home Gateway. Install in on your home network & the gateway has paired with the temperature sensor, you will be able to monitor remotely via the Xiaomi Home app.
@@spinupone I do have the Xiaomi M1S hub and it is not doing the job. I can only see the thermostat when I'm in home (can't open it while out of the house)
Useless device . More headache than function . Never buying another xiaomi device ever . Worst Phone I purchased first , then this useless temperature and humidity monitor .
Is it possible to connect this device to a humidifier?
I don't understand anything you said on around 8:00 which hubs do I need? Is Xiaomi Smart Home Hub would work?
Does it work with Google assistant and can I control smart life device with it?
As seen in 6:00 the sensor is not connected via bluetooth to the gateway. Only to his phone which will not run the scenes or routines he programmed.
Hi bro, have you ever managed to pair the sensor with the MI hub? I’ve tried but it doesn’t show. Only zigbee devices were able to pair

It is a realy nice thermometer to use when you have small children at home.
Is it possible to connect this device to Xiaomi Gateway?
Hey, do i need a mija hub or something to automate my devices with this temp sensor?
How do you reset the device to pair with a new phone. Does a battery change work to reset Bluetooth pairing?
How sure can I be the humidity readings are accurate?
how can i link it to the gateway? , if im trying to see the temperature when my phone bluetooth is off it doesnt show me nothing
I think you need a gateway zigbee 3, my 2019 gateway doesn't work (zigbee v2) ... I will buy a new one (it is stupid)

Is that device show you humidity inside room or outside room?
Also is has accuracy in temp & humidity?
It shows the humidity and temperature wherever you put the device. It's very accurate, i tested it myself with multiple devices.
Hola no purdo vincularlo a ninguna otra app sabes a cual si?
If I am away from it, can I then see how hot it has been when I was gone? Or do I only get data from when I am connected
Is this hygrometer always has Bluetooth activate or there is a possibility to turn off the Bluetooth in this hygrometer?
Do I need BT gateway to link it with humidifier?
I have everything set up, but when it reaches set temperature, it doesn't turn off the selected Xiaomi socket plug... Any idea why?
Tnx!

You can tell your baby to text you if it's too hot or cold.
