I use 2 sensor push’s the HT-1 and they work great!! No complaints!! If I was to make a suggestion to them I would add co2 and light detection… if they want to make it have a par meter that’s cool but to notify me that the light was on when I asked it to be off and or if the tent was left open and it’s light should be off… that would be cool!!

It gives you Temperature, Humidity, VPD, DP and you can add different components to the Hub like your Lights, Humidifier/dehumidifier, AC/fan etc. What I like about them is that they are constantly working to improve the product and welcome all feedback. I had a list of concerns to present to them and within a month, they basically addressed all of my concerns.

Seems a good product! Their power strip controlling devices inside the grow. Lights, fans and dehumidifier/humidifier among other things. With the ability to turn them on and off. It's only rated to 15 amps so it has its limitations. If you can keep the lights on a separate controller it frees it up to control everything else safely. ✌️

I love that the People at Pulse made templates for you that can really be of help to newer growers and your also able to manipulate those templates to your liking or just make your own. But for a smaller and closer Grow I wouldn’t mind using the Sensor Push

Setable alerts as well (RH temperature etc). @ $20ish for 2 units! I also use govee plug outlet controller for my space heater. Has times setting options, timer options etc. Only $20ish for 2 plug outlet controllers. 1 app to use both items. Plugs also wifi and blutooth w alexa capable. Check the govee stuff too.

Even with a thermal gun...you're only getting that reading at that time....how would you know if it changes and what changes it? Yeah VPD is tracked, but how does it constantly track specific leaf temperature? What about a thermal imaging camera?

    “ANOTHER ONE”! - DJ Kalad
Good video! Enjoyed learning about the push. I myself have pulse pro, and love the co2 monitoring / alerts to let me know “hey co2 needs a switch”. And taking PPFD readings! What I did was take multiple measurements at different heights and % intensity’s and wrote down a cheat sheet for easy reference. #priceless
    Great work as always Chris

Hey Chris can you use the pulse app as a type of grow log for details like nute feeds, and other data similar?

I just got a pulse one and you can totally make a grow journal with all the data! It’s so awesome imo

Pulse requires a paid subscription for some of the readings/alarms. Pfft.

I use 4 SensorPush temp/humidity sensors and their Wifi module. If the power (and the internet) are out, the Bluetooth has enough range to reach through two walls and continue to work through the app on my iPad directly. Very convenient.
They've really helped me get my environment sorted out as well as making it easy to see when something isn't right. The ability to look at a weeks worth of temp and humidity graph makes seeing a trend easy. I've spotted A/C and dehumidifier problems and timer troubles, too.
I don't see the need for light level monitoring. As soon as the the light comes on in my garden, the temp goes up. Real noticeable, real fast.

I do like yo have a sensor in my grow but as a read out not trackable data things are getting to crazy for me in cannabis as they go along all these new things only push to get rid of error which is nice but also comes at a price the automation episode and this one really arent for me. As I love tending to my plants and being involved with my plants. Dont over feed anything I wait for them to show me what they need and how they are doing. And data that anyone can hack or monitor. Remember these companies don't care about their customers and if some law enforcement comes In sure they are gonna right away give all your data to them no questions asked so you have to think about these things in this forever changing space. But automation and data aren't a growers best friend unless you legit. But in a recreational state where your allowed to grow a certain amount is just as legit as someone who paying the state only difference is I'm not selling anything I grow and smoke what I grow. I'm not going above or beyond the limits provided to those in a recreational state. My 19 stock had me good well into 2021 cause I'm not greedy so I wad able to hold in 2020 cause I had the stock to do so. Which was a blessing. 2021 I'm at it again and looks like things are gonna be great again so if the world goes back into believing this made up situation I'll be fine again. I often as what the difference from a grower and farmer a grower wants to grow as many plants and get more more more. A farmer is one who plants every year to get whatever they need from that year and is comfortable waiting til next year to do it again. But a grower is all about more more more and I don't want to keep expanding and using more water than I do. I get what I can for when I need and wait and start all over again I believe that's the difference between a farmer and a grower is being comfortable with growing an amount and seeing where that goes and not more more more mindset of a grower a farmer respects the time of year your allowed to grow and takes advantage of that but massive electric footprint while consuming more water isn't what I'm into or looking for myself. I'm trying to save the planet not keep it spiraling out of control but that's just me an indigenous person who's ancestors are from here that's why I'm from a tribe and place where our people have lived for thousands upon thousands of year long before and after America we will be here

Govee is simply the v1 Sensorpush unit, same with the Inkbird. They even use the standard app that comes with the hardware -- where-as Sensorpush now makes their own sensors and has updated the app to add VPD/Dewpoint.

Just get a govee Bluetooth temp and humidity sensors. You get 2 for $20.
These overpriced ones aren't necessary and wifi isn't necessary. The Bluetooth govee logs the data and everything. Save your money

Growing weed shouldn't be this complicated or expensive. We shouldn't be spending thousands+ of dollars to grow a few hundred dollars worth of weed. If you're growing commercially, ya I can understand it, but for "personnel" use... No way.
Informative video none the less, thx.

There are people who spend $1,000 on equipment and get 1.5lbs+ on their first run. If you're spending thousands of dollars on equipment and only getting a few hundred dollars in final product then there are lots of things you can do to improve. Don't give up. A 1oz yield (worth a few hundred dollars) is tiny compared to what people actually get for a harvest. Allocate some time to research, have patience, and you will succeed.
