    I just bought a MI A1 recently, but I wasn't even remotely aware of all the products they make.
    And you did forget to mention some as well: The TV box and the TVs... They are a lot.
    Oh and also, recently Oculus collaborated with them for the Oculus Go. These guys are awesome.

  • @BertLiu
    @BertLiu 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Question for you: Can these products interface with the more "mainstream" smart-home devices in the US? E.g. I'd love to buy some of those button switches (pretty inexpensive) to trigger pre-programmed actions with my Google Home Mini or Philips Hue lights.
    Xiaomi has been absolutely ridiculous these past few years. The variety and quality (considering the price) of their products are mind-boggling. I've only used a Red Mi phone and a set of wired headphones before. I stopped using the Red Mi because it was not compatible with US 4G network, but the headphones are still going strong, and both products were of superb values for the price.

    This video really helped me a lot to explain all these. I still got some questions - Why Xiaomi got 2 lines of smart home products - Mijia and Aqara? Whats the difference? Why some devices comes with Zigbee, some not? For example the Body Motion Sensor, I think one has Zigbee, the other one not.

    Hey buddy, I'm trying to figure out if xiaomi smart home products will connect to google home or amazon echo? I'm trying to sum all the app into 1 controller (google home or alexa app) instead having different apps to control multi brand items. Right now, I'm planning to use samsung smartthings to control few things and have it connected to google home, then broadlink RM Pro to connect the Broadlink light switches to the samsung ST to the google home.
    Then I see your video and interested to use xiaomi products IF they can be connected to google home as well instead of using xiaomi app.
    You help is much appreciated, buddy. Keep it up.

      Xiaomi devices don't work with IFTTT or any other platform at the moment.
      Perhaps they will support that in the future

      Actually at least some does. I have my Xiaomi bedside lamp set to turn off when my androidphone starts charging. IFTTT has a couple of devices under the Yeelight name.

      Yes, some of these devices work with IFTTT. Actually, Apple's HomeKit will be supported soon!
