    Thanks. The breathing pattern for each position is breathe in 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, breathe out for 6 seconds, pause 2 seconds, begin next cycle and try to do at least eight of these cycles per position, and up to 24 if you are so inclined.

    This is Surdarshan Kriya of Art of living. Or SKY. Specify that. Don’t mislead by saying it’s kriya yoga people may confuse it with Kriya yoga taught at Schools that follow Paramahansa Yogananda

    Hi, it might pay to learn how to sit properly in lotus or half lotus, because it is essential to keep the spine straight and open the hips. If you aren't sitting straight, pain is inevitable as the prana flow is obstructed.

    This is NOT kriya yoga. But part of "Sudarshan Kriya" "preparation part". Please avoid spreading wrong message

      Marketers may use the term kriya correctly but nah is kriya yoga of Mahamuni babaji, Lahiri, pranabananda, kebalananda,bupendranath etc lineage

      In the most American videos related to yoga, there's 3 key words:
      "kriya", "kundalini" and "powerfull" - it's just a fashion.Mostly people don't realise this Sudarshan Kriya (and other tipes of Kriya's) have nothing to do with Kriya Yoga wich came in the lineage of masters started with Babaji.

      @@harryvangrieken5715 There is not demonstration for Kriya Yoga. The teaching and techniques of Kriya Yoga are handed down through a lineage of Kriya masters from master to discipline. Actually, this is not a Kriya Yoga technique.

      To work with the chi or life force, yes, breathe in and out through the nose!

      It is expensive; I was living in my car at the time, asked about scholorships, and was given passage to the weekend Art of Living for free! That had a lot to do with why I wanted to make a video to share some of these wonderful practices!

    after exhaling for 6 seconds, you need to hold for 2 seconds in all 3 exercises (hips, armpit and shoulder )

    Not wise to learn these techniques from youtube, the breath, the positions, the mode of breathing are delicate and precise and should be checked by a trained teacher. I am a yoga teacher, even after showing in person, people do improperly but at least we can help them, I can only imagine the silly modes people take up in their solo experiments....

    This is not srf or yss kriya yoga.This is box breathing &Bhestrika pranayama.

      Srf/yss doesn't disclose authentic kriya(if even known anymore). Srf/yss was never ment for dissemination of kriya. It's was written by PY in AY first edition only.

      @@RainBow-uf7hb Good question... Because in this very process your mind and body experience something new which is not familiar or used to, secondly your whole consciousness shift to other realm for a while, if you're not properly guided you suffer badly..
      I have done it 12 years back, still continuing to do everyday, but believe me without proper guidance you will not get the benefits of it.
