going to be boosting my ap1 s2000 w 22K miles. The goal is 550 WHP this spring. Do you think ill be okay w stock motor, trans, and diff? I never launch my car and don't plan on doing it. Hoping to also get it set up for different boost by gear so I don't get too wild on 1st and 2nd. Do you think ill be fine?
You will be more than fine. You can run these motors at 650whp without issues. The trans and diff will be your biggest potential problems so don’t use too sticky of a tire and don’t launch it lol.
@@ArcLightAddicts, in the end, a new trans and diff cost way less than an engine rebuild. I've seen people with their trans and diffs holding up for a while, you just cant be abusing them and bang through gears like it's a stock car. Just happy these engines are so damn strong and capable of boost

Also Upgrading the clutch cause I know their known to give out at like 350 WHP lol

@@slows2k352 the CC Stage 4 clutch is perfect and can hold up to 700+ not drag racing of course.

Make sure you do valve spring ap1 valves are weak to ap2
